Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Megan‘s birthday card is so happy! She cut the Giant Outlined Happy Birthday: Portrait from Really Rainbow paper, it’s a great way to add quick color to this sentiment die cut. And then adding all the adorable mice is so clever too! I love the colorful party hats on the Simply Celebrate Critters and the sweet stars she scattered around!

Elise used Giant Outlined Happy Birthday: Landscape to create a lovely card! The What’s Sewing On paper in the background looks so delicate and the cardstock coordinates beautifully!

Yainea‘s card is so clever and just so gorgeous! I love the Let It Shine Starry Skies paper adding shine in the background. And the addition of gold metallic to the stars and moon is so brilliant too. And the Elephant Parade mom and baby stamped in Peacock ink is so beautiful and such a great idea!

Lynnette‘s design is so sweet! She combined pretty shades of cardstock which are so perfect to complement the colors in the What’s Sewing On paper! It is so beautiful and makes this birthday card extra special!

Kara‘s birthday card is a joyful celebration with the cutest critters from Fly High, Coaster Critters and Coaster Critters Flip-Flop! The Really Rainbow paper looks so amazing behind the delicate outline of the greeting!

Audrey‘s Giant Outlined Hello Baby card makes me smile so big! I love the mix of pastel cardstock in the background with the light gray Fog she used to fill in the letters! And of course, you can’t go wrong with glittery sparkle cardstock to fill in the stars and moon! So beautiful!

Grace created a shaker card that is so fun, featuring a swinging Year Seven piñata! She used Simple Stripes: Landscape to add colorful Stripes ‘n Sprinkles paper in the background. Then she colored the letters in pretty colors to match!

Latisha used Ballet Slippers cardstock for the Giant Outlined Hello Baby, pairing it with a flowery pattern from What’s Sewing On. She popped up the die cut using foam strips to complete this simply lovely card!

Caly started this amazing design with Really Rainbow paper for the background. She backed the Giant Outlined Happy Birthday: Portrait with vellum before adding in a rainbow of colors for the letters! This card is just so happy!

Kara created a card that is so special, welcoming a new baby with bright, happy color! She combined Textured Dot cardstock for the die cut greeting, then she added the sweet Elephant Parade critters! So adorable!

Melissa created a card that looks so sophisticated! She used only the outline of the Giant Outlined Happy Birthday: Landscape, layering it over Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper in soft blue. The addition of the Bunting Borders in gilded gold looks so cool and coordinates with the gold embossing on the sentiment.

Chari‘s colors choices are so bright and bold and perfect to send a happy message! The glittery bits also add extra fun and sparkle!

  1. The dies are so gorgeous 🥰
Happy Easter would be nice. Or get well soon.
Thank you for the awesome inspiration.

  2. These are really cute, I have actually never used / bought any of these big word dies. Something encouraging…”Yes, you can” “you are loved” “I <3 U" "I Care"

  3. I’d love something that can be used for different occasions – like just the word hooray, but also love the idea of a Mrs. & Mr.

Thanks for this wonderful week of inspirations, ideas and awesome cards. Enjoyed every single day of it!

  4. I would love to see giant outlines cuts – Hugs & Kisses, Happy Anniversary, Mr. & Mrs., Merry Kissmas,
Season Greetings, Happy New Years, Trick or Treat, Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving,
Gobble till you Wobble, Happy St Patty’s Day, Kiss Me, I’m Irish. & Bunny Kisses & Easter Wishes!
Thank you, Lawn Fawn, for providing us inspiration for another great release! 🥰

  5. How about Won-der-fall! Thank you would be great! Something that could be used for vacations or fun times. So excited to see the next ones you create next!

  6. I would love to see multipurpose options like Best Wishes or Congratulations! I am a big fan of the giant sentiments line!

  7. I think Oh Happy Day! would be nice. Could be used for different reasons/seasons or just because.
    Lovely ideas DT as always

  8. “Happy Mother’s Day” and “Happy Father’s Day” for sure. I think it’d be cute with some flowers or hearts, etc.

  9. How about “seize the day!”? You could add little words like congrats, happy birthday, gather your strength(for recovery of injury/illness), and celebrate to make individual occasion cards.

    1. Some single word fill-in outline word dies with coordinating word-fetti stamps suitable for slimline or mini-slimline cards would be fun. (Happy, Congratulations, etc.) Any sentiments that are more all purpose are good too – thinking of you, best wishes, etc. Enjoyed all of the amazing design team projects this week. Thank you!

  10. I’d like to see “MWAH” or “YOU GOT THIS” in a giant outlined die. I think both could be very versatile. Can’t wait for the next inspiration week ❤️

  11. Just found the blog and looks like just in time to make a comment. Thank you for the entire release..i love it all. For a large sentiment, (not sure if you have made this yet..i am new to Lawn Fawn). “You Are Special” “Sending Smiles” “Enjoy Today”

  12. Such fun cards!
I love your giant outlined sentiments! I’d like to see ‘Let It Snow’, and for Halloween ‘Spooky Greetings’ and ‘Ghostly Greetings’!

  13. I’d like to see giant outlined plates that are slimline sized so card and scrapbook page use would work! Celebrate, happy, surprise!

  14. Lawn Fawn has done it again! These giant sentiments are perfect. I am always wanting more Thank You and Thinking of You type sentiments, so maybe more ways of saying those statements in fun and punny ways!

  15. Something generic like Happy Day or Best Wishes which could be used for wedding or birthday or just because.

  16. I love these! I would love to have A big Cheer or something like that that would work both for New Years or a wedding

  17. Thank You, Thinking of You, Get Well Soon, Best Wishes, Congratulations, Howdy. I also like others’ suggestions for various occasions.

  18. I like the idea of Happy and a spot to stamp happy what lol. Like birthday anniversary etc. also like the simple ideas of hi and hello and thanks. 💚💚💚

  19. Nice cards above. My favorite is Kara’s with all the critters and the the pinata. I’d use a Thanks and a Hello.

  20. Miss you! Feel Better! Party!
    Con Grads!

I personally probably like the other style of big sentiments better and have had a chance to use this kind yet. Although I do like the Oh What Fun. Usually money is spent by time I’m sucked in on the cute stamps. Lol

  21. Congrats or High Five or Way to Go would be fun additions to the sets. I love the birthday ones – so quick and easy to make

  22. I would like to see “Celebrate”, “Cake Time”, “Congrats”, and “Happy Everything”. These would be so versatile.

  23. I would love to see Celebrate or Congrats that could be used for many celebratory events – graduation, baby, new job/promotion, new house, etc.

  24. I would love to see your simply Amazing, and your so creative. I love the giant outlined dies!!! Amazing inspiration and I have enjoyed seeing more of the new products.

  25. I love the new giant sentiments and the fun, colorful cards your design team members created with them! AMAZING release and lovely work! Thanks so much for consistently releasing such fun, relatable, usable products — and thank you for the fun and generous giveaways!

My favorite of the giant sentiment dies is the “Love ya” that’s contained within a heart shape — that is so creative and clever! I would love to see more designs like that — eye-catching large sentiments that are contained within other basic, useful shapes or at least integrated along with fun shapes. How about “Oh Happy Day!” inside a flower shape or perhaps inside a circle shape that has sunburst rays radiating out from it? Or maybe “Friends Are Flowers” inside a flower shape, with a coordinating stamp that says “In the Garden of Life”. “Jingle Bells” inside a bell shape could be cute, too.

  26. These large sentiments are outstanding on these fun cards. “Chin up buttercup”, “love you s’more” will be fun.

  27. I’d like to see “Miss You” or if you could find a way to make it fit, “Thanking of You”! Maybe “Sending Love” or “Prayers”

  28. I love these dies! I can’t keep track of what’s been done already but maybe “Thinking of You” or “Sending Love”?

  29. Fun giant outline sayings that would be fun…
    Happy Fall Y’all
    Miss You
    Hip Hip Hooray
    Celebrate
    Oh Happy Day

  30. I would love to see a Giant – Get Well Soon or Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings sentiment. Thank you for the chance to win. Good luck everyone.

  31. REDBIRD KISSES (a sympathy card), SUP, LAMO, SWAK, LOL (anything for the younger generation. They love the critters but struggle with a sentiment. This would be a all in one statement), LOTS Of LAUGHS. Also, FUBAR (military-it’s a guy thing)

Love all the other suggestions too. Especially MR & MRS.

  32. Perhaps “Have Fun” or “Make a Wish” or “My Friend”. With “My Friend” you could add Happy Birthday, Congratulations, Happy Easter, Happy Anniversary etc in a smaller stamp set.

  33. Love the cards – so creative!! I especially like the baby cards. I would like to see large word dies related to Halloween – Happy Halloween, Hocus Pocus, Trick or Treat, Boo etc.

  34. Congrats, Thank You, Bee Happy, Happy Easter, Hoppy Easter, Happy Fall … the list could go on and on. lol

  35. I’d like to see THINKING OF YOU the most. I’d say “WITH SYMPATHY” but it does not convey the right mood.

HELLO would be good and so would CONGRATS!

Love, love, love all these superb examples!

  36. Lots of great ideas from everyone! How about Shine On or Be-YOU-tiful or maybe even Let’s Celebrate You. Maybe even words to go with the critters – You’re Pawsome or Purr-fect or maybe even I Woof You. And any punny sentiment might be fun!

  37. Something like Hello, or Christmas theme like Jingle Bells, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, or Happy New Year!

  38. I would love to see congrats, congratulations, best wishes, party, your invited, sorry, or get well soon in a giant outlined Lawn Cuts set

  39. I love all the cards today! I don’t know what to suggest, I like the ideas that everyone has already listed though, esp You Rock!

  40. I think the obvious one would be “thank you”, but “celebrate”, or “miss you”, or even giant sentiment word would look awesome too.

  41. A couple ideas, “You Got This” and “Just Breathe”. Looking to add dies that you could sent for support.

  42. So fun, these giant words.

    Feel Better Soon,
    Mr, & Mrs.,
    Thank You,
Welcome – (could be used for – to the neighborhood or little one, etc),
Sorry – (could be used for sympathy card or to say you’re sorry for something.)

Maybe also come up with a small sentiment stamp set to go with them for additional phrases

  43. I’d love to see You’re so Sweet or Sending Smiles – so many stamp sets that would work great with these!

  44. Two that I think would be great are “Thinking of You” and “Mr. & Mrs.”. Whatever you come up with will be great!

  45. Another amazing inspiration week, thank you, Lawn Fawn! “Thinking of you” would be a great addition to the giant outlined dies.

  46. I’d like a giant Thinking of You. I use that sentiment a lot for my cards. I love the cutouts on these new dies!

  47. I would like to see “love” or “happy” as I can see these being very versatile with many themes. Thanks for all the inspiration this week!

  48. How about “Best Wishes,” “Happy Summer,” “Your’re the Best,” or “There’s No One Like You? “

  49. These dies are all so versatile, I like the suggestions above of holiday phrases like Noel, Joy and Peace.

  50. I’d love to see – “Let’s Party” or “Party Time” , “Happy Day”, “Congratulations”, “Thanks”, “Hello”

  51. So much lovely inspiration! Some of my ideas are: celebrate, oh happy day, thinking of you, thank you, just because, Mr & Mrs, Hugs & Kisses, You Rock, Best Wishes, Happy Everything. Plus, of course, some seasonals, like Happy Easter, Merry/Happy Christmas.

  52. This was fun. Thanks. How about….. WOWZERS or FANTASTIC JOB or WHO KNEW? or OOPSIE or I DIDNT SEE A THING or HOW THE HECK? or WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? Or CHECKING IN ON YOU. I better stop, hugs

  53. “Way to Go” or “Good Job”. Would be great to encourage individuals young and old on their accomplishments.

  54. Love to have happy mother’s day and father’s day. Also congrats or Congratulations would be nice. Four seasons would be cool too. Happy fall or autumn, winter, spring, and summer. Word Welcome might be nice too. Can be used on many occasions.

  55. I am so excited to use these birthday dies! I loved the Christmas ones, so these are just perfect for birthday. Even the baby one is cute. I love using these with critters scattered in amongst the words.
