Eggcellent Easter Basket

The new Eggcellent Easter Basket is the perfect companion for Springtime Bunny! I love how Elena added Secret Garden Window in the background with What’s Sewing On paper! And the sentiment white embossed on a Bannertastic banner is so sweet!

Kara‘s Eggcellent Easter Basket is so pretty with What’s Sewing On paper-pieced eggs! It’s so lovely tied onto the Goodie Bag in coordinating paper. Filled with some holiday sweets, this is a perfect little Easter gift!

Megan added extra “grass” to her Easter basket and also slipped in an adorable chocolate bunny from Build-A-Basket Easter! Such a great idea!

Grace combined so many fun die-cuts in her “eggstraordinary” Easter design! The new Eggcellent Easter Basket looks so amazing in this scene with Springtime Bunny, and an altered Pumpkin Wagon, now filled with eggs to paint and carrots. Grace filled in the scene with Slimline Picket Fence and Grassy Borders, and also cute bees from Meadow Backdrop: Portrait!

And how clever is the paint brush and jar from Art Supplies! This Easter bunny has more eggs to paint!

Yainea‘s happy card is a Stripes ‘n Sprinkles delight! She added the stripes to the eggs and then she die-cut the dotted sprinkle papers with Simple Stripes: Portrait for a simply stunning backdrop! The pastel vellum scalloped circle is so pretty as an additional layer.

Caly popped the Eggcellent Easter Basket into her adorable Eggstraordinary Easter scene! It’s the perfect way to send “hoppy Easter” wishes!

Rebecca paper-pieced the Eggcellent Easter Basket with Flower Market pastels. I love how she used kraft cardstock to outline the basket, eggs and Springtime Bunny!

Balloons Stencil

Marine‘s tall slimline design is so perfect to showcase the fun stenciled balloons! She filled the stenciled sky with bright happy colors, then she added the adorable Really High Five critters to make this a truly special birthday card!

You can add a festive, celebratory vibe to any card with the fun balloons and confetti from Balloons Stencil. Caly‘s adorable baby card features Elephant Parade and a greeting stamped with Henry Jr’s. ABCs.

The simplicity of Elise‘s card is what makes it so special! Stenciling the balloons in bright rainbow colors in a simple row, then adding the Offset Sayings: Everyday greeting in bold black is an amazing combination!

Lynnette created a simply fantastic design by stenciling the balloons in warm colors on a cool blue background. Then she triple-stacked Giant Happy Birthday in coordinating warm colors. And then it’s all in the fun details, white gel pen and coordinating cord tied in a bow.

With dramatic color and a fun popped up die-cut greeting, Audrey‘s card is a memorable birthday card! She used Distress Oxide inks to stencil the balloons on Black Licorice cardstock. Then she die-cut Giant Happy Birthday from this panel and added it back on foam strips. It looks offset and is so much fun!

Latisha created a birthday card that is so cool! Cool colors and balloons stenciled in the background are a great start to this festive design. Latisha layered on Giant Happy Birthday to You, Fly High and Fishtail Banner Borders to finish her happy card!

  1. My most memorable Easter basket memory was making a bunch of baskets for the children in the community it included some crafts and of course some yummy chocolate. 😋

  2. One of my most memorable birthdays was when my husband surprised me by taking the day off from work and planning a lovely day of hiking and fun.

    1. My 40th birthday. My husband and friends gave me a surprise party. Great memories with awesome friends and family.

  3. Not my own birthday but one year I gave my niece a Minion dress up outfit. Never seen such a happy kid

  4. My husband made me a fabulous alice in wonderland themed cake and tea party for a recent big milestone birthday it was amazing

  5. My favorite Easter memory was when my son was 10 months old and we went to visit my MIL. He was so cute, wearing bunny ears!

  6. How cute, I love balloon stencils, and it’s really cool that you included various balloon shapes! The basket is really sweet, too! I come from Poland, and in Poland we prepare a very special Easter basket that we get blessed in church on Holy Saturday. The basket is full of goodies that will get eaten during the Easter breakfast on Easter Sunday: hard boiled colourful eggs (called “pisanki”), a few slices of bread, some sausage, ham, salt & other bits and pieces. Sometimes, they get accompanied by a sugar lamb, or – nowadays – a chocolate bunny.

  7. My most memorable birthday when we spent 2+ months in CA to Mexico! We visited San Francisco, Golden gate bridge, Alcatraz, Fishermans Warf, deep-sea fishing, San Diego – Zoo, Aquarium, Hollywood Wax Museaum, Knoxx Berry Farm & so many more places! My favorite was celebrating a week in Disney & on my 15th Birthday I rode my favorite rides,
cast sang Happy Birthday, had dinner, cake, show & watched fireworks! We had a wonderful time with grandparents! 🥰

  8. Well, I think all of my birthdays have been fun and memorable! I was born on Christmas morning many, many, many years ago lol My faves so far have been the last 5 though as we have had our very first (and only) grandchild, a sweet little girl named Penelope Joy (Joy is my most favorite word!) Now that she is 5 she is getting into real card making and it has been so much FUN! I think her favorite technique so far, well favorite 2 are ink blending and die cutting! She’s a natural!

  9. The favorite is the one I wrote about the other day; when I was surprised with a hot air baloon-trip…

  10. These cards are so inspiring! I can’t wait to get my hands on that balloon stencil. My most memorable Easter’s were when my granddaughter was younger and we would hide eggs around the yard of our country home for her to find. And even though she is 18 now, we still make her a basket filled with her favorite things!

  11. My most memorable birthday was flying to Washington DC on my birthday, from the UK, to see my nephew and his family. They even upgraded us on the plane! 😃

  12. I went to my first Pinners conference on my 50th birthday…I even made a black with purple glitter “birthday girl” shirt to wear. So much fun!

  13. My favorite Easter basket contained a tiny stuffed rabbit that had an adorable sweater and it was holding an Easter basket.

  14. My favorite birthday is when my family threw me a surprise party. It makes you feels loved when so many people fuss over you!

  15. Every year we have a family Easter egg hunt including everyone from grandparents to the kids. It is always outside. We live in Canada so there’s often some snow, that just means more places to hide the baskets.

  16. We used to hide eggs for the kids every year and I have always enjoyed putting together a fun and special Easter basket for each of them. Now they they are young adults and away at university I still make them an Easter basket package and send it to them. They love the tradition and appreciate the little gifts & treats.

  17. One year my mom made all custom fabric baskets and hid these ones. They were so cute and the thought and time that went into each was so lovely.

  18. My mom had a mini angel food cake pan. On our birthdays she would make us our own mini cake iced with 7 minute frosting.

  19. My birthday is in April and never landed on Easter until last year! That was weird, because my daughters is two days later and hers has been on Easter 2 or 3 times already! Love all these examples!

  20. One of my special Birthdays was parasailing. My favorite Easter was having egg hunt at my Grandmas. She cooked her hard boiled eggs in onion skins—they are an orange/brown color. This is how poor people use to color eggs. My grandma passed in September at 104. This will be our first Easter without her.

  21. My most memorable birthday was my fourteenth. My Dad got me a card and made me breakfast in bed. It was both the first and last time I ever had breakfast in bed. It still makes me smile every time I think of it all these years later. 🙂

  22. My most memorable birthday was when I was 7 or 8 years old. My grandparents gave me a record player- that in itself was memorable but I took the ridged curly ribbon and seesawed it back and forth on the back of my neck and gave myself a ribbon burn.

  23. I gave my son the perfect Easter basket with everything I thought he would love. He was so excited to play with all of the fun toys in it.

  24. My favorite birthday was last year my son gave me an amazing gift and we went out for a great dinner.

  25. I always loved putting together an Easter basket for my daughter when she was a little girl… adding in candies and little toys and then wrapping it all up in colorful cellophane!

  26. Last year my husband had a surprise birthday party for me. All of our neighbors and friends came over and it was so nice. He had been planning it for ages and even managed to keep it a secret.

  27. My most memorable birthday was when we went to a minor league baseball game with all my friends. Very fun!

  28. This basket is darling! My most memorable Easter Basket was when I was in 2nd grade and got a Cabbage Patch Doll!

  29. I remember when I was 10 and a family friend made me my first homemade birthday cake hand-decorated as a Pac-Man game. It was very cool looking and I had never seen anything like it at the time (long before computers and Pinterest!).

  30. I still love making Easter baskets for my boys. They are older now, but you’re never too old for an Easter basket!

  31. When I was a teenager, we were traveling on my summer birthday and we drove through snow flurries in Idaho!

  32. My memorable birthday was the one when
my husband proposed to me. It was
unexpected. Naturally I said yes. Love
the basket – will be used a lot for many
    occasions. thanks for sharing.

  33. Love the new Easter basket and balloon stencil! So cute! LOVE the projects the design team made with these goodies, too!

Memorable birthday? When I was 6 years old, my best friend lived next door. Then she moved away. 🙁 I was so sad! But she and I stayed pen pals for years. When I was (I think?) 10 years old, my mom had a birthday party for me and invited her — and she was able to come to it! YIPPEE! That was so much fun! All these years later, she and I found each other online, and we are now Instagram friends! 🙂

  34. Love the design team’s samples today! My most memorable birthday was my 30th. My husband surprised me and flew my best friend to see me!

  35. I love putting together Easter baskets for my grandchildren and before them my kids! Easter included an Easter Egg hunt and brunch!

  36. My birthday is always on Easter or close when Easter is in April. I remember hearing my mother talk about how hard she hunted for a cake with a bunny on it for my birthday. I remember receiving a cake that someone decorated for me with a bunny surrounded by greenery which she made out of coconut. It was a fun cake to receive as a gift.

  37. My favorite Easter basket as a child was when I was around 7 years old. I got a spotted elephant that had a bell in it’s ear. I took it everywhere with me for several years. I still have it. (I think it became special because our dog had a puppy and it was going to be a big dog so we gave it away. I guess the elephant was sort of a replacement.)

  38. My son’s birthday was two weeks before Christmas, so to keep it special I would fill the tree with balloons to make a birthday tree! The kids enjoyed popping the balloons and then we would decorate it for Christmas!!

  39. My birthday is a week before Christmas. We never celebrated it much because everyone was already wrapped up with Christmas /New Year festivities.

  40. I have 2 favorite Easter baskets. One is a Snoopy that I have had for couple years & new one is a Child Yoda that I got last yr. I’m like a kid at Easter. I colored/painted plastic Easter eggs yesterday evng using alcohol inks. Will bee sending eggs to family & friends.

  41. Beautiful cards from the Design team using the new basket! Favorite Easter basket was with a huge stuffed rabbit when I was 6 years old. Loved that bunny!🐰

  42. Wonderful cards! I really love the Easter basket!
My Mom always created the most beautiful baskets! She had such a good eye for design and loved to decorate for every holiday!

  43. My favorite B-Day was when I turned 40, it was celebrated with my sisters at a new restaurant. It is rare opportunity to get all three of us together! That birthday will always remain close to my heart!

  44. As a child, my mom always gave us huge Easter baskets filled with a spring outfit, toy and one chocolate bunny. Great memories

  45. My favorite Easter basket is the ones that I would always receive as a child from my godmother. They always had a big stuffed bunny, chocolate, games and a little extra something for me to buy more candy…lol!

  46. My 40th birthday – I didn’t want any presents and my husband surprised me with the most amazing perfume, it was so perfect.

  47. My grandpa was a wonderful cook and used to have a big pancake breakfast for all his neighbors and family at Easter time. After breakfast the kids would hunt for eggs. That was always a special memory for me.

  48. I can remember waking up at my grandmother’s house on Easter morning with an egg hunt and a beautiful Easter basket. There were three baskets: one for my brother, one for my sister, and one for me. We always had a large chocolate peanut butter egg from a local candy store and many other candies.

  49. Memorable birthday: My parents allowed me to have a birthday party with a couple of friends, held at our house. At one point (I was turning 8) we turned on music and danced, thinking no adults saw us. My parents filmed us. We had so much fun. I love the Easter baskets. The design is extra cute!

  50. As a child, I loved everything about Easter—dying the eggs and then the egg hunt—except once you found all the eggs, then you’d have to eat them. Mom always tried to disguise them by making egg salad, or even potato salad, but still don’t like hard boiled eggs.

  51. I have lots of great birthday memories but one birthday stands out because I was so embarrassed – my parents had a 9th birthday party for me and all my friends were there. There were 9 candles on my cake but, unbeknownst to me, they were the kind of candles that would re-light after they were blown out! I kept trying to blow them out but they wouldn’t stay out! Everybody was laughing but I kept wondering what I was doing wrong! It’s funny now but, as a 9 year old, I was so embarrassed!

  52. I love that my husband and I still do little Easter baskets for each other (Easter candy is the best candy).

  53. I love coloring eggs with my grandkids, they are 17 and 16 this year so not sure if they will want to. but I always loved filling my daughters baskets and hiding them to see how long it took them to find. Easter is always so much fun! Loving the week!!!

  54. We surprised my dad for his 90th birthday – we live on a different continent, so turning up on their doorstep was such a happy surprise!

  55. The balloon stencil is so cute. The confetti and streamers re the perfect addition to the background. I just need to learn how to use the stencils!

  56. The most memorable Easter Basket is one for my hubby. I had made a quilt top for him but struggled with the quilting. After it sat for years (and he gently kept poking at me about it), my quilting friends helped me remove the stitching I had done and I had it professionally quilted. I placed it in an Easter basket and hid it along with the kids baskets that year. To say he was shocked, surprised and delighted would be an understatement. Such a great memory. Love all the design team samples and that balloon stencil is amazing!

  57. When I was a kid, my grandmother used to make us huge Easter baskets for each of us kids. Bigger than anything I’ve ever seen. lol

  58. I’ll never forget the year the Easter bunny “forgot” to take the Easter baskets from their hiding spot to down stairs. The kids thought they’d been forgotten until we “found” them and said “what a tricky Easter bunny hiding your baskets this year”. 🙂

  59. After my siblings and I were grown, and moved out, my mom used to make this HUGE, amazing, centerpiece Easter basket that literally had all the BEST candy. I wish she still made it 🙂

  60. My most memorable birthday was my 13th. My family was in the process of moving from Ohio to Kentucky. Dad was already there. He sent me a telegram wishing me a happy birthday. I thought it was so cool!! Yes, I am old! Lol!!

  61. My favorite Easter memory is when my Mom hid my brothers basket in the oven and no one could find it. Mom claimed she didn’t remember from the night before. I think we around 5 and 6.

  62. You know I can’t really think of one but what I really enjoy is making Easter baskets for littles! It’s so fun to find that perfect surprises to light their faces up on Easter morning!

  63. My most memorable birthday was going to Disneyland. My birthday is in December, and it was first time seeing Disneyland at Christmas time.

  64. When my kids were younger, I took them to a chocolate factory for an Easter event. They had an Easter egg hunt, a tour of the chocolate factory, jellybean tasting, arts and crafts. And the final activity was getting your picture taken with the Easter Bunny, who also gave you a special gift. My son was soooo excited. You can tell in the picture. Although he’s missing his 2 front teeth, he is smiling from Ear to Ear. My 2 1/2 year old daughter, on the other hand, was not too pleased. Right when the photographer took their picture, she started screaming and crying. I have this priceless picture of them, my son so excited and my daughter so upset. My daughter is a teen now. We all laugh at that picture now. I told them we should recreate it.

  65. My most memorable birthday was when my kids took me to dinner and then presented me with a gift that was wrapped in 50 layers of paper.

  66. Two of my favorite items in this release are the giant Happy B’day & the Easter basket dies.
My favorite memory involving an Easter basket involves my then 4 yr. old daughter getting a live bunny. (Story way too long to write here, but funny!)

  67. My birthday is two days before our anniversary. The older I get, the more I’m just into our anniversary. 😊 But we’ve taken some wonderful anniversary trips so I’ve celebrated my birthday all over the world! I have particularly fond memories of our 25th in Waterford County, Ireland, by Lismore.

  68. I was an only child, so each Easter was special for me – just me and my Mom. She always made it special.

  69. My favorite Easter was when the Easter Bunny brought me, when I was a child, a stuffed toy bunny I had wanted so badly.

  70. My most memorable birthday was my 8th birthday. My parents took me and my brother to Disney World and surprised us.

  71. Love the balloon stencil! I think my most memorable birthday was my 60th. For the first time ever hubby decided to surprise me with a party of friends and neighbors, BUT he did it the day after my birthday so I wouldn’t suspect. We went out to shop and when we got back everyone was on our back porch. My neighbor had the code to get in our house and set everything up. It was surely a surprise.

  72. When I was a freshman at university I became good friends with the girl that lived two doors down in the dorm. At Easter that year her Mom sent us each one of those giant plastic eggs filled with candy, pantyhose, a comb and other things you wouldn’t normally associate with Easter. My friend died when she was just 27 but I always think of her when I see one of those giant plastic eggs at Easter time.

  73. We enjoyed spending Easter with our Aunt Mary and Uncle Jim when we all lived in the same town, good food and good company. Favorite candy in an Easter basket- jelly beans!

  74. I loved gathering with my cousins at our grandparents house to have a fun easter egg hunt. My granddaddy would spend days hand dying dozens and dozens of eggs and we would have a ball clambering around the yard finding our treasures!

  75. Even though my sisters, my brother and I are grown up, our parents still hide our Easter gifts and we have to search for them. And they are very good at hiding 🙈 🤭 It always takes me ages to find my basket 😂 I think the most memorable Easter egg hunt was when they taped it under the dining table 🙈😂

  76. My favorite basket memory is having a personalized bucket for each of my grandkids and they had clues to find their Easter goodies

  77. Most memorable Easter basket was the one I just happened to see being delivered by ‘the Easter Bunny’ who was tip-toeing by my bedside in the early morning; the Bunny just happened to look like my mom.

  78. My birthday is later this week. I will be 50 on Friday. A favorite birthday memory is when I turned 16 some of my friends surprised me with a party. They were pretty special friends. I have always loved Easter baskets! We always got pretty new socks rolled up like Easter eggs. Growing up we never got red jelly beans because my momo the Easter bunny loved them… ha ha

  79. I always loved making Easter baskets out of the green plastic strawberry baskets we would buy at the grocery store. We would put plastic grass in them, a pipe cleaner handle and ribbon around them and one of those chenille little chicks. We would load them with candy and deliver them to our friends.

  80. My most memorable bdays include the milestone celebrations. Each was a surprise party and the last one was amazing with seeing family after being away from each other over the past few years.

  81. Back when we still worked in the office all birthdays were special we would decorate each others cubes in spatial themes to fit the person celebrating.

  82. One of my most memorable birthdays was as a kid. We were on holidays and I was purely amazed about the amount of presents my parents brought in their suitcases.

  83. One of my most memorable birthdays was when we went to New York City to see Marry Poppins the play. I just lived the play.

  84. My favorite Easter basket would be full of Reese’s white chocolate eggs, Cadbury cream eggs, Snickers eggs, Butterfinger eggs… basically all my favorite chocolates in the shape of eggs!

  85. My most memorable Easter basket is the 1st year finding my basket and my white chocolate bunny’s ears had been eaten. Even my brothers bunny ears had been eaten. I accused my mom of eat my bunny’s ears to discover she had not eaten the ears. We figured out our Toy Pomeranian had eaten the bunny ears after my mom hid our baskets. From then on our baskets were wrapped with Saran Wrap. Out Pomeranian still figured out how to slip her paw between the folds of Saran Wrap, making it looked undisturbed except for the bunny being tipped, and the ears still eaten.

Until this post I had not given the balloon stencil any consideration. Now I m thinking of adding it to my wishlist.

  86. My best birthday memory was when my husband held a surprise birthday party for me at a restaurant when we were living in California. We walked into the room and all our friends were there yelling “Surprise”. Then he told me to look closer and there was my best friend from Minnesota. He planned a trip for us to go to Las Vegas as my birthday gift. Best birthday, best husband a girl could ask for! 🥳

  87. My favorite Easter baskets are the ones that I make for my kids. I love picking out everything and to see their faces on Easter morning.

  88. Easter was always my favorite holiday as a kid! My mom alway put together the best baskets! I remember always re-arranging all fun stuff over and over.

  89. A memorable easter is when i used to hide eggs for my daughter and one year we couldn’t find the last egg. We actually found it 6 months later behind a picture frame!!

  90. My favourite memory is my son whining that he didn’t get a Lindt bunny. After a while, his dad went to the dryer, gathered lint from the screen and arranged the lint in the shape of a bunny on a piece of paper.

  91. It was 18 birthday I went to yankees ballpark and tour of it then went to a Italian restaurant for dinner it was fun

  92. My 25th birthday was my most memorable because my friends’ threw me a surprise party! My one and only (and I’m now 59!). So much cuteness in today’s projects.

  93. What fun cards by the DT! My favorite birthday was when both my sisters went on vacation with us at the beach during my birthday week, and we celebrated every day! LOL! Thanks for the chance to win!

  94. Easter is my absolute favorite holiday so my Easter baskets and my children’s Easter baskets are always meaningful. Such cute cards today!

  95. Memorable…I think it was my fifth and I remember pouting that as my friends won the various games, they were getting to pull on a ribbon hanging out of an upside-down clear umbrella, suspended from the ceiling. The ribbons were attached to all the pretty wrapped packages. I wanted to be able to get one of those surprises, but I wasn’t allowed to win at my own birthday party. Not my best moment. But I was 5. lol

  96. My most memorable birthday was when I was a teenager and I had a few close friends over to celebrate and my mom secretly invited all of my church youth group friends over for a surprise birthday party. I very surprised and it was so much fun. Everyone deserves at least one surprise Birthday party in their life.

  97. my easter baskets when i was little were always amazing. so many candy treats! and for some reason we also always got a brand new pair of jammies with it lol.

  98. My mom would always make me the best Easter basket with a toy and delicious chocolate bunny. I can’t forget the fun Easter egg hunts!

  99. Me and my sister decorated some plain Easter basket they turned out so cute we decorated my neices with unicorns and my nephew’s dinosaurs they are my favorite Easter baskets so far

  100. My most memorable birthday is when I was on the second date with my boyfriend (now husband) the evening before my birthday and he surprised me with champaign at midnight.

  101. My favorite Easter basket is one filled with my favorite See’s Candy! My husband is pretty good and making sure I get some of that!
Love the basket of eggs and especially those stencils! Stencils make quick and easy cards!

  102. My most memorable birthday are ones I don’t organise, like my friends throwing a surprise party for me or my partner saying you have 30 mins to pack a bag and then we go spend the weekend at a really nice hotel in town and “be tourists” in our own home city

  103. When my dad, I mean Easter bunny, put the basket in a big tree and no one could get it for like 45 minutes. Lol.

  104. I love making Easter baskets for my son filled with sweets, chocolate and toys. Seeing the look on his face when he receives it is priceless!

  105. Wow! Such beautiful cards from a great team! I especially like Kara’s goodie bag – such a fun idea! My favourite birthday was my 40th – my sisters had a 40’s themed tea party for me, and we all had to dress the part. So much fun!!

  106. One year my best friend and I took a day off midweek from our boring adult jobs and met up at Universal Studios for the day like we were back in high school. That was pretty fun.

  107. Not so much a basket as we didn’t do them but I loved getting the hollow eggs with our names on them at Easter! Always such a treat to find the special egg just for us. Found and personalized at a zellers /woolco in the 80s!

  108. I had an Easter basket with a watch in it that I really really wanted and I got it in an Easter basket one year ✌🏽

  109. The most memorable Easter basket is one that had a panoramic sugar egg in it. I was so fascinated with the little Easter scene inside.

  110. Such adorable cards! I remember my 13th surprise birthday party. It was so wonderful.
    Thanks for sharing.

  111. Lol! My favorite Easter memory is from when I was a kid, growing up. The Easter bunny had well hidden our baskets, in particularly hiding my brother’s basket. That poor chocolate bunny didn’t have a chance….. My brother’s basket was hidden next to the heat register…. Lol
I’m happy to say, deformed, melty chocolate bunnies taste just as good as their well formed counterparts.😆🤣

  112. I always have fun decorating Easter baskets for my kids. I always loved receiving them when I was little. I loved the inspiration today!!!

  113. My favorite birthday was when I was 16. Had a surprise birthday party. Was my first birthday party ever. With an August birthday you don’t have school mates to invite. It was just my boyfriend at the time his brother and wife and my parents. It was sweet.
Always great inspiration from the design team!

  114. A memorable birthday was the year my twins turned 10 and their birthday fell on Easter Sunday. We celebrated at my dad’s house (Easter was his favorite holiday). It was also the last birthday my twins were able to celebrate with him as he passed away that same year in July. We still talk about the fun we had that day.

  115. My parents made very holiday so special. Now as a parent I try to do the same for my kids! I love celebrating Easter and watching them find their eggs!

  116. On my 7th birthday we were on holiday in Greece and there were ads for a water park in our hotel and I’d been pleading with my parents to go there for my birthday r entire tube leading up to it. But they managed to keep it a secret that we were in fact going there the entire time, including the 1,5 hour drive out there, and I somehow didn’t suspect a thing xP

  117. My favourite birthday memories are from when I was a kid. I would have a party at the local pool and Mum would go get us fish and chips for lunch. It was always lots of fun.

  118. A memorable bday was #16. I have a June bday, so I usually did not get to celebrate in school w/ my classes as an elementary kid. Bummer. But I had a great Sweet 16 party… lots of folks and a fun time. Another fun was was the surprise #60 party my mom and I threw for my dad. Unfortunately since his bday is in Dec., it often gets missed in the holiday hubbub (not by us but in general by friends and outside-the-nuclear family family members). Wouldn’t you know that it started snowing about the time his party was about to start and the predictions were fairly serious. A few people bailed (never came) sending their regrets the morning of or the day before. Others came but left nearly as soon as the even started in order to get home safely. We had a good time anyway and he was SO surprised!
My dad’s a pastor, so we always had to hunt for our Easter baskets after church on Easter Sunday — at least after a certain age. When we were really little, we had time to search for them because we were up so early LOL.
GREAT JOB with these videos and all these inspirational projects!

  124. My mom always put little Easter decorations in our baskets so we would have things for our home to decorate some day.

  125. My 5th birthday was the most memorable… my mom left my birthday party to go to the hospital to give birth to my brother. I never got my own cake again. 😉

  126. No need to think about it. Hubby hid my engagement ring in my Easter basket of the year I had given up chocolate for lent. He gave me a beautiful basket from which I took that annoying black felt box off of the top to get to the chocolate under it Immediately. He patiently waited for me to go back to that little box, but I didnt,,, just kept goin for chocolate. He finally asked me to get back to that box, .I told him later on, then he just hit the floor with one knee and popped the question. To this day Easter is chocolate forward with a lotta love on the side. 💍🐇❤

  127. My favourite Easter Basket was my very first one which was filled with little Easter decorations that I kept on my shelf year round.

  128. My favorite Easter basket was a basket of flowers we received for my son’s first birthday. He turned 1 yrs. old on Easter and we were able to take some beautiful flowers home after our church service. The flowers were beautiful. It is also one of the most memorable birthdays (not my own, but as a mother).

  129. I remember as a kid in grade 2 or 3, decorating Easter hats for an Easter Hat Parade at school. I don’t remember what it looked like, but I do remember having fun with it.
As for birthdays, I remember the first time I realised I had a really cool birthday date (if you’re a Star Wars fan). One of my best friends messaged me on Facebook to wish me a happy birthday and also said “May the Fourth be with you”. I had never put the two together before, so it became a thing with my husband that we would watch the Star Wars movies in order so that it would be the 4th movie on my birthday.

  130. My dad would save all his change in a jar and when Easter came he bought plastic eggs and put some money in each one and hid them around the yard. Once you collected your eggs you got to keep the money.

  131. My son needed an Easter hat for school, but he insisted that it had to have dinosaur eggs! He had to be different! 🦕 🦖 🐲

  132. The most memorable Easter baskets are from when my kids were little, for egg hunts. My son would ONLY pick the plastic eggs that were blue! He grew out of it once we started putting money inside the eggs, though. 😆

  133. I am drawing a blank – I remember lots of nice birthdays and Easters but nothing super amazing. I do remember one Easter my Mom accidently shut my hand in the card door on the way to church. I had to stay home and not wear my new Easter dress. That was memorable for sure.

  134. One memorable birthday was my 21st birthday – rainbow moon and stars was my theme! Love the balloon stencil! Can see myself making lots of rainbow balloons! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

  135. Those balloons stencils are darling! Probably turning 60 during covid was memorable but a bit sad and loney!

  140. My favorite Easter basket moment is actually two different ones. It is the first Easter of each of my kids and watching them try their first marshmallow Peep.

  141. Oh these cards today are SO adorable! Today, waking up to blue skies and beautiful sunshine made me smile.

  142. Easter is always a fun time to celebrate because we have dinner at my dad’s house and he does an Easter egg hunt for the grandkids… even though they are now 11 an 15 this year! The candy-filled eggs have been upgraded to money as the kids have gotten older and finding the one golden egg is always super special!

  150. For my 8th birthday my mom gave me a tea party themed party. My grandma came and brought her very small pink glass Easter baskets to use. I thought that was so special because I knew those baskets were special to her. When my own daughter was 8, I did the same thing. Those baskets are very special to me and they are almost 100 years old.

  151. I think my 30th birthday was the most memorable one. My husband lurked me out of the house and when we came back from a fun activity together, there was a piano standing in our living room. My whole family gifted it to me because I missed playing a lot and my husbands keyboards weren’t a real option. And also my last birthday was special – I had sent my girls a picture of a really ugly hedgehog shaped birthday cake, stating I wanted that for my birthday. They really made one of those – and it was perfectly “ugly” and so funny to look at. Not to mention the taste was amazing!

  152. Even though we’re adults and don’t celebrate real Easter (we just celebrate Springtime on Easter) my boyfriend makes me a cute Easter basket and card. It’s the best!

What fun! These cards are so cute!

  160. The most memorable Easter basket was one that I had the hardest time finding. The Easter Bunny made it so difficult to find. My brother and sister had found theirs and it was almost time to leave to go to Easter dinner. It had those fuzzy little chicks in it made from. Pipe cleaners, coconut eggs, and a handmade doll.

  161. My son’s due date was a couple of weeks after my birthday, but he was born before it instead. I remember thinking that I only wanted him to be home with us. Having him there with us was the best gift!

  162. When I turned four my grandmother made me a little mermaid cake and I still remember it to this day as being the best birthday ever

  163. One of my most memorable birthdays was my 25th. My husband, mom, and several of my friends went to celebrate at a local theme restaurant. We had car trouble on the way over and had to take a cab to the restaurant. It was my first time in a cab. Aside from that, we had a wonderful time.

  167. I think my most memorable birthday was my 30th. It was my golden birthday, but it was a hard one for me. I was feeling unaccomplished in life and wasn’t where I wanted to be. My wonderful friends threw me the most fabulous New York-themed party and we’d had a blast. They certainly took my blues away and made it a night to remember.

  168. The first year I knew about there being no Easter bunny I was sad since that meant no Easter Basket. My Parents got me the most adorable stuffed bunny which made everything fine! Thank you for the chance at a giveaway!

  176. Squeeee! Such cuteness with this release! I love these bunnies and eggs and baskets. My memorable basket was when I was a kid. I actually don’t remember much about the basket itself, but I do remember that the Easter Bunny was at my house and left foot prints going up the front of the refrigerator, to get to the snacks I left out for him. That was the most amazing morning for me to see his foot prints!

  177. The most memorable birthday was the one where my twins turned 1! Such a magical day although COvID-19 had the world turned upside down sort of speak

  178. My most memorable Easter basket was from a couple of years ago. I crocheted a basket (first time doing it) and filled it with sweet treats for my nieces. They loved it.

  179. The best Easter Basket was the one that was all decorated in ribbon & tulle & had clues to a scavenger hunt to find all the goodies. Thank you for the chance to win. Good luck everyone.

  180. We don’t do Easter baskets for our kids – instead we do hunts. Last year I did an Easter selfie hunt for our teens. They had to text me their photos to get the next clue. The kids got treats and I got a bunch of wonderful pictures to scrapbook!! Win win!

The kids had a character with a back story, like in the Clue movie. We did it twice, once for each kid! Still have some of the hidden clues in the house!

  185. My most memorable birthday was when I turned 50 and all three of my sons, along with their wives and kids came home to celebrate the day!
