Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and then leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Elise‘s is so beautiful! She combined Book Collection cut from rainbow cardstock with a panel of Falling Leaves patterned paper. She also used Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stackables to cut the panel, giving it so much cute detail.

I love how Elise added some extra color with leaves from the Stitched Bookmark set then topped it off with some black Hemp Twine tied in a bow!

The fun Stitched Bookmark plays so nicely with the cute critters of Little Woodland Library! I love how they are sharing the bookshelves with the lamp, books and potted plant! So adorable!

Perfect for back-to-school, Audrey‘s card is “tops in my book”! Her design features Book Collection with an apple from Build-A-Barrel: Apple! She used some Really Rainbow paper and rainbow washi tape to complete her colorful card! And of course, the little bookworm from Little Woodland Library is an adorable detail!

Latisha cut the Stitched Bookmark from two patterns from our new Candy Cane Lane paper collection! She colored the Little Woodland Library images in whimsical colors to match the pink papers, so sweet!

Grace was also inspired to make a thank you card for a special teacher using the new Book Collection die set! And she included the cute owl from Tiny Gift Box Owl and Penguin Add-On and some letters from Louie’s ABCs. That amazing, lined paper is in our Really Rainbow paper collection.

And, of course, Grace made this a special card with our new interactive set, Swivel Surprise!

And there’s another cute owl inside along with a punny and thoughtful sentiment!

Marine made the cutest card and Stitched Bookmark set with a Halloween theme! The pink and orange color palette is so fresh and fun! She combined the Book Collection with Stitched Pumpkins and ghosts from Build-A-House Halloween Add-On!

Elena got really creative and used the “shelf” die from the Stitched Bookmark set to create a grid of windows on her card. She filled those windows with all the adorable readers from Little Woodland Library and I just can’t stop smiling! So cute!

The adorable bears from Den Sweet Den are a perfect pairing for the new Book Collection die set! Chari cut the books from the new Falling Leaves Petite Paper Pack before arranging all the cuteness on a Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stackable!

Yainea‘s beautiful bookmark holds her place until she picks up her book once more! She used just the stitched bookmark die adding some pretty watercolor to the background. Then she filled the space with colorful books and a Smitty’s ABCs sentiment.

We matched the rainbow colors of the Candy Cane Lane paper for this row of Book Collection books. I love that the little book titles from Little Woodland Library Add-On fit on the spines of some of the books.

Miles loves his personalized Stitched Bookmark! It features Louie’s ABCs letters, Really Rainbow paper and Unicorn Tail Sparkle cord!

  84. Get well wishes to the LF crew! I’m loving the bookmarks! I’ll be making some and leaving them in our community library for borrowers to take. I don’t have a lot of books on my shelves but do go to the library often to check out cozy mysteries and whatever might be in the new section!

  85. I’m a Kindle reader and get most of my e-books through the library so there isn’t a lot filling my shelves, but I really enjoy contemporary fiction mixed with a little post apocalyptic fiction thrown in

  120. I have a feeling this release is bad for my wallet!

What is on our bookshelves depends on what room you are in. My dining room is my paper studio – so books 0n card making, pop up and book creation, drawings, etc, as well as our field guides, trail guides, and folk music. Daughter 1’s old room is my collection of children’s books – chapter books, pop-up books am]nd picture books. Daughter 2 has poetry and fantasy. Our bedroom is anything my husband and I feel like reading. Downstairs is quilting, so books on quilting, design, felt making, etc., etc. I really should start a library.

  121. Oh my goodness, those cards and bookmarks are AWESOME. Y’all always create the cutest cards. Sadly, I no longer have a library of books (I have kept a few of my favorite books, but sold the majority of them). I had to switch to a Kindle because of my eyes. When I had books, they were mysteries or faith-based fiction. I have switched genres and really enjoy snarky, magical mysteries.

  122. When I was young I read horror stories, as I have aged and had kids, I now read almost exclusively romances. All with happy ever afters.

  123. My bookcase is full of murder/mystery/suspense books..but I also have all the Harry Potter books in my bookcase!

  124. Ohhhhh! I love these book diecuts! I love to read, and my bookshelves are full of YA, murder mysteries, swoony fiction, and anything else I feel like reading. Such a great way to spend time.

  126. LOVE this collection sooo much!
My book collection is mostly children’s books with a few cozy mysteries.

  127. Lots of mystery, romance and historical fiction along with children’s books. I love the little fox with a book, so cute!

  128. I just LOVE a good murder mystery, but I also enjoy thrillers of any kind and historical fiction. A good book has to keep you in suspense until the very end AND make you feel all the things from big old belly laughs to teary sniffles to everything else in between!!!. I highly recommend the Thursday Murder Club series by Richard Osman. I want to be like Joyce when I grow up lol!

  129. These are so cute. I can not wait to see what Miles makes, it is one of my favorite parts. I hope you are feeling better Kelly.

  130. Oh, too many. Personal: mysteries and love Sue Henry and Dana Stabenow. But have shelves of children’s books. Excited about the new swivel die.

Keep the beautiful samples coming!! I hope you are all feeling better SOON!
