Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using these fresh new sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and then leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

The It’s a Bird mice are on a bird-watching adventure in Elise‘s cute scene! She created a fun background with Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait and Meadow Backdrop: Portrait. I love all the colorful birds and how they interact with the mice! So cute!

Audrey made a simple watercolor background for the Heart Tree! Then she added cuteness with 2 mice from It’s a Bird and a few pretty blue birds! How cute are the heart-shaped musical notes!

Grace used Spooky Forest Backdrop to create a beautiful Spring scene for the intrepid bird-watching mice! She used Puffy Cloud Borders with Bitsy Blooms paper to make the flowering treetops. And she included more flowers from Spring Basket!

Latisha‘s sweet design puts the spotlight on the Heart Tree stamped directly on a Lacy Rectangle! I love the pink leaves that match the heart! She added some birds from It’s a Bird and framed it all with a Bitsy Blooms Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame.

Yainea created a charming scene on a Stitched Circle! She placed the bird-watching mice in a pretty mountain setting with Stitched Mountain Borders and Grassy Border. For the background she layered a strip of Bitsy Blooms paper on a Woodgrain cardstock panel.

The mice found the Heart Tree to be the perfect bird-watching spot! Elena set the scene with Simple Grassy Hillsides and clouds from Fly High! I love how she highlighted the heart in the tree, stamping the cute message in Yeti ink.

Megan took the Heart Tree to the jungle with Toucan Do It and Simply Celebrate More Critters! This cute and clever card is perfect for sending love with a scripty greeting from Mom + Me.

Then Megan used the same Toucan Do It set to take the mice from It’s a Bird on another adventure! I love the little bird on the mouse’s hat, it’s a such a cute detail!

Lynnette combined Heart Tree with all the cute mice of It’s a Bird to send a cheery birthday greeting!

Marine‘s Ta-Da! Diorama! interactive card takes the adventurous mice Down-Under for a wild day of bird watching and kangaroo sightings! She used Kanga-rrific and Kanga-rrific Add-On to create the fun setting.

Marine gave her design lots of color with Falling Leaves and Into the Woods Remix papers!

Tammy used Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait with the grid trimmed out to frame a fun It’s a Bird scene! The cute mice are interested in the blue birds flying around the Heart Tree! The sentiment is perfect with the heart-shaped musical notes!

Mindy inked and stenciled a simple background for her fun bird-watching scene! She combined It’s a Bird, Heart Tree and All the Clouds with Grassy Stencil.

The Heart Tree is the center of attention in Marine‘s clever interactive Reveal Wheel card! She added bunnies from Eggstra-Amazing Easter and little clouds and sun from Happy Village, Village Shops and Village Heroes.

The little bird flies back and forth as the wheel is turned! This is such a fun way to send encouragement to a friend!

  1. Just stop with how cute these mice sets are! I just love them and think they are ever so cute! I would love to see the mice go to the spa next. “Thank you mani much”, “Sorry for being so pedi”, “You’re pedi sweet!”, “Mani Christmas”, “spa day”

  2. I liked Michelle B´s idea with the Spa Adventure… I would also love to see them exploring a big city, with some hight building or taking a ride in a double-decker bus or a yellow cab

  3. Those little mice work so hard, as the summer will be coming up how about they get some time off and go on holiday!

  4. You all come up with such clever adventures. Maybe camping, fishing, hiking, canoeing, surfing, or mountain biking would be fun.

  5. I would love to see them go swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving, but it would also be cute to see them do some spring cleaning lol

  6. I think swimming and underwater would be really fun but I also like the idea of them going on a neat trip, maybe sailing. A bit like car critters but with a boat. They could have maps, telescopes, compasses etc

  7. I love all the mice and they’ve been so busy so it’s difficult to think of something else but maybe they can build some things (so for a new house or just for crafty dads)?

  8. So many options. I think they should go surfing … in Hawaii and learn to hula. Or it would be nice to have a “first responders” set

  9. I love all the mice sets!, and the new ones are a great addition!! Perhaps the mice should go seaside. Beautiful projects from the DT!

  10. The mic could go surfing and laying in a hammock. Or they could dress up in costumes for trick or treating! Love the mice!

  11. They could come sightseeing in London and get on a double decker bus to visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye, Big Ben, The Tower of London etc and meet up with their British cousins

  12. I would love to see the mice go to a theme park or water park or maybe dress as super heroes or fairytale characters.

  13. These are so cute. I would like to see the mice (or any critter) take a trip on a train… or even drive a train like Car Critters or Hey There, Hayride. I work in the railway and I know some of my co-workers would just LOVE a train themed card!!

  14. The mice are so cute! I agree with the previous posts. It would be fun to see the mice on the beach. Surfing would be really fun!

  15. We need some mice on the beach and some camping and fishing mice. It would be so fun to do a slimline card walk the top being a lake scene with mice fishing and then the bottom being an under water scene.

  16. Scuba diving, canoeing/kayaking, mountain climbing/camping/backpacking. The mice could go to school or be on the playground.

  17. I love the mice! I think the mice should do some water sports next – they could be at the ocean, either paddle-boarding, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving or water-skiing!!! Think of how much fun the mice would have!!!

  18. I love the little mice and MICE AT THE POOL or BEACH (in bathing suits and with tiny drinks) for summer would be great or biking & roller skating too! Can’t wait for this release – super cuteness!

  19. I love all suggestions above, especially the beach-related ones. I’d also like to see the mice trick or treating, skiing and snowboarding and riding ski lift or gondola, or doing construction or other jobs. So many possibilities.

  20. Would love to see set for camping, fishing, canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving, bowling, volley ball, motorcycle riding, and train trip.

  21. I would love to see the mice go camping, have a day at the beach, or have them celebrate Halloween.
Costumes and trick-or-treating would be cute.

  22. The mice should go to school. Complete with lunchboxes and backpacks, and a water bottle since nearly all children pack one around these days! 😂

  23. Cute mice. They should go to Egypt to see the pyramids or to China to see the Great Wall. They can also stay home and see all the great things that each state is known for like Mt. Rushmore or rubbing Lincoln’s nose in Springfield, Illinois.

  24. Maybe to the cottage or the zoo- could be cute. I’m still waiting for the day that the “tiny friends” set are supersized 😀

  25. Loving these little mice! I love how they are so versatile. They should go on a cruise! Or you could have them go on an adventure, highlighting their involvement in various sports — you could do an add-on set to Mice on Ice where they are playing pond hockey (pretty please!!). I’ve also been on the hunt for a canon firing (like historical Rev War living history and reenactments).

  26. I don’t know but I know I need the bird watchers ! My husband loves birds and always has his binoculars out! Lol!

  27. This set is darling! I’m a big fan of the mice. I like the idea of the mice heading to school. They would be fun to use for teacher cards or for your favorite student.

  28. OMG It’s a bird is my favorite set! Loved watching the video last night. Grace’s card is my favorite. So versatile. Happy Valentine’s Day!

  29. I think the mice need to go on a world adventure and wear some traditional clothes from their stops. I think they’re first stop should be Scotland because I really want mice in kilts!

  30. I think the mice need to go on an Easter egg hunt next! Who doesn’t
like to find eggs filled with treasures like chocolate?! So cute. But I’m a
bird nerd so I am really loving all these lovely birdies!

  31. So many great ideas already posted! I’d love to see the mice in construction gear with hard hats and little tool belts, a saw horse, a wood plank, and maybe a crane. “You lift me up!”, “You build me up!”, “May your day be built on love (happy birthday)”. You can put them next to the build-a-house sets, or build-a-barn, build-a-castle…the possibilities are endless!

  32. I think the mice should go on an Asian adventure…climb Mt Fuji with cherry trees in the background. The mice would look cute wearing kimonos.

  33. maybe the mice could go bowling or play soccer or graduate from high school or college or have a ballet recital or any other childhood milestone to scrapbook or send a card to!

  34. oh… so many great ideas in all above comments! Someone mentioned scuba diving – that sounds awesome!!
    LOVE the It’s A Bird-set… 😍

  35. Loving this release so far! 😍 I think the mice going on a water related adventure would be really cute, like surfing, snorkelling, parasailing, or water skiing. Also, on a fishing/camping trip.

  36. I love It’s A Bird and Heart Tree. Though I’ve never carved a heart into a tree, it’s a very powerful image. And I love the mice explorers. I’m thinking the mice might like to have a science bkgd, so they can wear white lab coats, the shoe being on the other foot, so to speak. Then maybe being recognized w a gene break-through. 😁 The Nobel Prize awarded to mice…!

  37. Oh I love these mice! I love the idea of the mice in the kimono’s and asian style someone above me said. Went to Japan last year and loved it.
And beach/swimming theme would be great or graduating.

  38. I just love that the mice are bird watching! I love watching birds myself and have several feeders at my house. I think the mice should go on some European adventures! I am thinking like London or Paris!

  39. I think the mice need a travel set- complete with little suitcases and passports. It’s a theme that could be built on- different counties with famous sites (pyramids, leaning tower, Eiffel Tower, Great Wall, etc) or even family vacation type trips (amusement parks, water parks, grandmas house, etc).

  40. These mice have such great adventures. I’m happy they can go hiking and birdwatching now. How about some kayaking mice too so they can have even more outdoor fun.

  41. Swimming with floats and diving board, county fair, fix it or carpenter mice with tools and perhaps building a tree house, mice performing at a circus (Mouse and elephant would be cute), hair salon or nail salon, photographer mice doing portraits, family reunion mice,

  42. Maybe go traveling on cruise or traveling to see iconic places (or cities) around the world…pyramids, Eiffel Tower, etc. These mice are always so adorable no matter what they are doing!

  43. I’m already seeing some great ideas from fellow Fawnies!! It would be fun to send the mice to the moon or scuba diving, on a safari or to the North Pole, or maybe just shopping and a Broadway show in New York. There are no bad mousie adventures when Lawn Fawn is involved.

  44. Hi Kelly Marie,
It would be fun to see these cute mice go on vacation on a cruise (cruising by to say … Happy Birthday; Get Well; Happy Summer; Bon Voyage). Have a large size cruise ship. Clouds. Sun. Suitcase. Sunglasses. Life vest. Add-On set like an island, small boat (transfer passengers) straw hats, palm tree, picnic basket, floaties, etc. Add-On set crew members: captain, chef, steward, server, etc. Add-On set: stage, performers, bistro type table and chairs, curtains, etc. ♥️
I love these so much! The Design Team Cards are so pretty and highlights each person’s unique artistic styles. 🥰

  45. Sooo much cuteness I love those bird watchers!!! I think these cute mice should explore NY. Maybe they can grab a hot dog. see the big buildings, and or shop.

  46. Oh!!! How cute is the heart tree and these bird watching mice??!!! I’d love to see the mice visiting different countries…. France, Japan, big Ben, Germany, etc….or, camping!

  47. I love all the ideas: mountain adventure, underwater adventure, travel in UK islands, or maybe, archeology mice, discovering dinosaur skeleton (maybe one looks like a mouse?) or at all kind of museum: natural history, painting, sculpture, science!

  48. The mice should go to the movies and have popcorn accessories, this could be released with other popcorn release items!

  49. I love these adventures the mice go on via Lawn Fawn’s creative products! I’d love to see some sports – skiing or skating? Or could go with summer sports since the winter in N. America will be over soon…swimming, snorkeling, maybe waterskiing? Team sports like soccer/football or basketball are also a hit in our family!

  50. Mice moving house is a good idea (cheekily starling from previous comments!) – carrying boxes, painting the walls, and putting things away, with cute “happy new home” sentiments 🙂

  51. DARLING inspiration today! How about the mice with a bunch of other critters that they wouldn’t normally be with… puppies, pandas, tigers 🙂

  52. Love these mice! Just adorable! I’d like to see mice as construction workers with hard hats and little equipment like bulldozers and back hoes, would make great cards for little boys

  53. These mice will look so cute with a desert explore scene. Graduation, off to college mice set would be cute. Building mice would also be cute. Love all the inspiration!

  54. What about a water adventure? Like rafting, fishing, the lake, the ocean, exploring tide pools, collecting shells, a water park, a forest stream. My favorite idea is to have them on a swim team or at the pool. How cute would they be racing down the lanes with little googles on!!! And you could use the bleachers die to have their families (mice of all sizes) cheering them on!

  55. Since summer is coming perhaps they could go camping or have a bbq or go to the beach. This bird watching set is so cute. In fact all the mice sets are adorable!

  56. I picture the mice relaxing at a pool. Maybe doing Hawaii with grass skirts and leis. They seem to have fun anywhere they go!

  57. Everyone has such great ideas for mousy adventures! Spa day mice or mice at the beach would be great – I already have recipients in mind for both! The bird-watching mice are so cute, though!

  58. The mice would be cute at the beach, wake boarding, water skiing, floaties, camping, sail boating, a hammock hanging from two trees, a fire put, lawn chairs to lay in the sun, little buckets to play in the sand and to build sand castles. This is a super cute set and can’t wait to get my hands on it!

  59. I’m ready to see the mice go to school… a little bus, chalk/whiteboard, a backpack.. I’d also like more outdoor scenes like waterfalls & a bridge, just for fun!

  60. I love the idea of all the little mice out on an adventure. I like the jungle and maybe some ocean exploration would be really cute. I can’t wait to get these little adventurers.

  61. The mice could go to an amusement park and ride the ferris wheel and the roller coaster. They could eat an ice cream cone and end of the day be watching fireworks.

  62. I would love to see them in a magical setting with spells and potions for Halloween or in a summer scene with a beach or nautical theme.

  63. These are so so cute and sweet.
I would love to see the mice go for a walk in the park – then they could play on playground equipment

  64. Those mice are so cute. Love all the examples. They should take a family vacation like innational lampoons or something like that.

  65. I’m going to echo a few other comments about some scuba diving mice. We could pair them with the underwater themed sets we already have

  66. I would love to see the mice out in the working world. Teacher mice, doctor/nurse mice, first responder mice would be adorable! The would coordinate so well with the Happy Village stamps. Or some sports team mice would be so cute.

  67. The mice would really enjoy skipping a rope , hopscotch , playing with marbles and many other outdoor activities…reminds me of my childhood days

  68. Have the mice been snow shoeing yet? I tried it a few years ago and thought it was so much fun! I think they’d enjoy it!

  69. I can’t get enough of these mice, they’re too cute! I would love to see them go on a whale watching adventure next.

  70. These mice are going on Safari when they get to my house! I like some of the other comments about underwater adventures or world traveling or children’s games.

  71. I’ld take these cute little mice with me on an adventure to the forest or the coast in search of birds and wildlife! This set is just perfect for me as a nature lover, thanks!

  72. I think the move should go on a scuba diving adventure. It would be so cool for them to swim in the big open ocean with dolphins, a whale shark and/or ride on a big manta ray. It would be so cute to see them with scuba gears

  73. Those mice are sure busy! I’d like to see them going to school. And when they’re on summer vacation it might be fun to have them visiting other countries in the world.

  74. I think the mice should go boating on a lake. Or snowshoeing. Or…a beach adventure. So many fun things they can do

  75. BEACH PLEASE! You know these little mice want to go on an adventure to the beach. I would love to see them have little suitcases, beach attire, beach cruiser and even a side trip to Disneyland. (Minnie and Mickey ears)

  76. These mice need to on a train ride! I would love to see some little conductor mice and it would be awesome at Christmas time too.

  77. I think we need some mice dressing up and celebrating some other fun holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and St. Patrick’s Day. I love making holiday cards and I love using the little mice for them. I also like the idea of some mice doing more manly crafting, like building or woodworking.

  78. A trip to the circus so I can use other animal stamps – elephant, lion, monkey. A day boating, including a sun umbrella, water skies, jet skies, knee board. You can never get too many mice and their adventures are so fun.

  79. I love the idea of the mice at the North Pole in place of the elves…with hot chocolate, feeding the reindeer, and loading up Santa’s sleigh!

  80. I love everything these mice do, so I’m sure anything you come up with I’ll love. My hubby is a golfer, so golfing mice would be fun. I love today’s sets and all the beautiful design team examples.

  81. Maybe the mice could go fishing or water skiing. Or how about zip-lining or hiking in the forest? They could go visit the zoo or the planetarium.

  82. -African safari trip with a jeep and a family of rhinos and other animals behind, or Australian animals like wombats
    -relaxing in onsen in Japan
-swimming (snorkeling) with dolphins and other sea animals!!
    -diving
-picnic and hiking with camping bags and equipment

  83. So many options!! These birding mice are totes adorbs. I think they should next go on a camping and backpacking adventure.

  84. I am going to make these mice go on a bear hunt!

I would love to see some mice playing in a hammock, or playing games, or cards, playing at the park hanging from monkey bars, a slide, a swing, a nativity set, so many fun activities for mice!

  85. That’s a tough question, these are very adventurous mice! Maybe the circus? A circus theme would pair so well with all my LF animal sets.

  86. The mice definitely want to visit the theme park… ride the rollercoaster from coaster critters and maybe add a new ride… Teacups anyone?

  87. fantastically cute! These guys are going on a safari for sure! how about a shopping trip to a beauty store……I have a pre teen granddaughter……can you tell?? ha ha ha ha

  88. I’d love to see the mice mow the lawn, bbq and do things we generally associate with Dad’s for Father’s Day Cards

  89. So many cute DT inspirations. Thank you so much for showing us.♥
I would love to see the mice on an Adventure to travel through the world and explore many countrys.

  90. Ooohh so many ideas!!!!!!!!!

    * Dr, nurses and patient mice with lots of hospital equipment (IV drips, ECG monitor, Blood pressure cuffs, height and weight measuring scales, hospital bed etc)! Great for a Get Well Soon cards! Mice doing physiotherapy after a sports injury, a maternity ward with teeny tiny baby mice/ other critters for Welcome Baby cards!
    * Mice in bathing suits and rash guards, scuba diving/ snorkelling gear for underwater fun!
    * Picnic sets
    *Indoor rock climbing!
*Indoor exercise equipment like dumbbells and treadmills!
*Dragon boats for Dragon boat festival / Chinese New Year
*More wildlife watching adventures – Australian animals to add to the Kangarrific sets, Critically Endangered animals like Pangolins and their babies! More types of birds! More baby mice characters!

  91. AH, when I saw the sneak peek and saw the mice with binoculars the first thing I thought of was them on safari and looks like the DT have had the same idea!
Mice in space next !?! 🙂
Or like someone else suggested (great idea!!), handyman/DIY/mechanic !

  92. So cute! I think the mice should be sleuths…with the deerstalker hats and everything…I mean, they’re smart enough to solve a mystery!

  93. I love these mice! They are soooo cute! I think it would be fun if they went camping, underwater adventure, crafting…how cute would it be if they were little card makers!

  94. Seriously? I keep thinking what else can we do with these mice and then I’m pleasantly surprised. And I’m so excited to get my hands on these new stamps and dies. Now, mice adventures . . . hmmmm . . . that’s a big question. We can throw the current mice into many situations. But . . . what about mice as our heroes? Not the caped ones, but the ones with invisible capes. Our docs, nurses, rescue, armed forces, police, etc.? Maybe not adventures for them, but certainly the day-to-day adventures we face on a regular basis.

  95. Idefinitely think the mice should come to australia to see koalas but i also like the underwareer idea maybe they could also go inuo space!

  96. mice in Space would be soo fun, sleeping on a moon crescent, holding a star balloon, visiting a cheese planet and flying in a little rocket

  97. I think they should watch a car go by on its way to a vacation destination while showing off all the adventures that are waiting for the new arrivals!

  98. I think the mice should be floating on a raft made of sticks and digging in the sand for shells. Perhaps they can lay on their backs and “sun” or be in a chaise under an umbrella with a magazine/book.

  99. The hats on deez mice. OH my gosh how can you make anything cuter? IDK if you can… I am a entry level bird watcher and oh my gosh these are just making me so happy. I LOOOOVE them.

  100. I think these mice would luv to go whale- watching!! Yikes!! There could be so many add-ons; beach scenes, water sports like kayaking, snorkeling, etc, or Arctic or Antarctic scenery and critters! Wow!

  101. Fishing mice with a little boat would be too cute! Camping, swimming and diving mice could work so well too.
    Or space mice!

  102. That’s tough! They look cute doing all the things! I would have to say beach or swimming – so cute in little swim trunks and suits!
