Today is our showcase of Build-A-Dog and Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Dog! Say hello to this new furry friend! This set has all the pieces you need to make a sitting or standing dog. Use your favorite colors of cardstock or patterned paper to create a unique look. Add some super cute sentiments to finish off your project using Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Dog.

Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using all these new goodies! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and then leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Caly‘s card is bright, cheerful and so happy! She dressed up the Build-A-Dog critters in colorful Build-A-Critter Winter Accessories to send Giant Season’s Greetings!

Jennifer’s card is so clever with a fun-fold design opening to a large slimline scene! This cute dog is “building” an igloo with ice blocks (it’s the tree base from Outside In Stitched Christmas Tree Stackables). She trimmed part of the Build-An-Igoo before placing it overlapping the fold. The bright Tomato red banner looks great on the folded card made with Candy Cane Lane Snow Flurry paper.

Once the card is open, you can see another Build-A-Dog working on the other side of the igloo. And that wheelbarrow filled with ice blocks is just too cute! The white embossed sentiment continues across the card with phrases from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Dog and the Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Birthday and Winter sets.

Puppies are so adorable, and this pair in a basket look so cute and cozy in June‘s thoughtful card design! She created the basket with Build-A-Barrel: Apple and the door piece from Build-An-Igloo as the handle. Now that is so creative! She used Fruit Salad paper as the background with a Lavender Reverse Stitched Scalloped Window as the frame. Then she created a sweet sentiment using Charlie’s ABCs and Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Dog.

This adorable Build-A-Dog is all ready for the holidays! Mindy topped his head with a Santa hat from Build-A-Critter Christmas Accessories. Then she arranged him with a sparkly Build-A-Christmas Tree on a Small Stitched Oval. There’s lovely greeting with Winter Wavy Sayings on a Fancy Wavy Banner and the Candy Cane Lane paper in the background adds a very festive touch!

Melissa‘s holiday card is so gorgeous with an inky sky behind the Winter Forest Backdrop: Landscape! She added the new Giant Season’s Greetings in festive red, but the stars of this card are those adorable Build-A-Dog critters!

Audrey‘s Build-A-Dog has so much personality! She’s ready for the holidays with a Santa hat and a shiny gold ribboned gift from Build-A-Critter Christmas Accessories. Then Audrey added more festive holiday fun with Giant Season’s Greetings on a stenciled Avocado cardstock panel and a bit of Red Sprinkle ‘n Shine striped paper.

Karin created a gorgeous tone-on-tone Giant Season’s Greetings design featuring that impossibly cute Build-A-Dog! I love how she created a layered window using Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stackables with the little dog peeking out. Then she added lots of interest with Snow Flurries Background stenciling in the window and a Postage Rectangle Stackables layer as a frame. She found the candy cane in Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On.

June created a holiday scene that is so cute and cozy featuring two fluffy Build-A-Dog pups! She stenciled the wall with bricks then she added the Window Frame with red curtains. She paper-pieced the sofa from Window Scene: Winter in Stripes ‘n Sprinkles Autumn paper for the dogs to curl up on! Finally, she added Giant Season’s Greetings and a sprinkling of Mini Snowflakes.

Oh, wow! Grace filled this card with so much holiday cheer, including the Build-A-Dog pair in festive gear! I love how she used Build-A-Cabin in the background, complete with a dog-bone sign over the door!

Rebecca’s card is so sweet and so cute with our Build-A-Dog arranged on a Pinecone and Leaves Border. She added the Build-A-Critter Christmas Accessories Santa hat and sweet sentiment from Winter Scripty Sentiments!
