Elena’s Tropical Party

It’s a fun tropical party with lots of great DIY party decor ideas this month! You will love Elena‘s brilliant decorations and how she combined lots of Tiny Gift Box Add-On sets to create the perfect flamingo treat box!

Elena created fantastic tropical decorations filled with palm trees, pineapples, ocean waves, sunshine and those flamingos!

Elena spelled out the guest of honor’s name on the banner with Oliver’s Stitched ABCs! She gave it the tropical treatment with palm trees from Hammock and Trees and our Palm Trees die set.

After cutting the Stitched Party Banners, she ran them through a die cutting machine again with Sunburst Backdrop. Then she layered Stitched Wave Borders and the palm trees along with a Textured Dot sandy layer!

To give her bright sun some cute character, Elena added eyes cut with Circle Stackables and a Large Slimline with Sliders mouth! How clever is that?

The yummy cupcakes transport you to tropical islands with clear aqua blue water! That frosting color is amazing! Elena grouped more palm trees together to make the island cupcake toppers.

Elena used the Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-On set to cut the zig zag shape for her drink labels. She used just the Aloha coordinating die for the cute pineapple. She added her own details along with a die cut smiley face.

These flamingo treat boxes are so adorable! Elena combined lots of the Tiny Gift Add-On sets to give them all this personality and authenticity! Be sure to check out the image below for all the sets she combined!

Elena searched through all of her add-on sets, along with Woodland Critter Huggers, to piece together all the characteristic flamingo features! We have included all the sets mentioned above in our supply list at the bottom of this post.

Thank you so much for sharing these amazing party decorations, Elena! I can almost feel the tropical breezes!

A Sweet Aloha Valentine with Jessica!

We can barely contain our excitement! Spring 2020 Release Week starts this Wednesday with our Big Giveaway Post! And it is a BIG giveaway! We hope you will join us as we start to introduce our fantastic new products with Intro Videos, Design Team Inspiration and daily giveaways starting on Thursday February 13th right on through to Release Day on the 20th! We can’t wait!

Jessica joins us today to share a tropical themed Valentine card using our Aloha mini stamp set!

Jessica’s Aloha pineapples are the stars of this card sporting their cool sunglasses! She used Tropical Backdrop to set the scene with 3 sizes of palm trees! The punny sentiment from Aloha really pops when white embossed on black cardstock!

Those sand dunes have lots of sparkle from the gold glitter cardstock from our Holiday Sparkle pack! Jessica used ink smooshing with Distress inks in Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral and Picked Raspberry to create a beautiful sunset sky, then she added even more sparkle by splattering Liquid Stardust!

Thanks so much, Jessica! This card is just so much fun!

Lawn Fawn Video {7.4.19} Marine’s Pool Party Magic Picture Changer

Happy 4th to all of our friends celebrating today! We hope you have a wonderful holiday!

We are so excited to announce that Marine Simon has been added to our Video Team! We know you will be inspired by her innovative designs and excellent video tutorials!

Marine has a super fun pool party Magic Picture Changer to share today! It features the Be Hap-pea peas and some super clever pool floats! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Marine had the brilliant idea to use cute summer images as fun pool floats! She used the pineapple from Aloha, the donut from Donut Worry, the watermelon from Happy Summer and an ice cream cone from Sweetest Flavor! She created the pool using Magic Picture Changer and the Magic Picture Changer Add-On. The little peas look so adorable lounging in the pool!

Pull the tab on the Magic Picture Changer and a cool sunglasses-wearing pea appears! How fun is that?

Although Marine used the birthday sentiment from Be Hap-pea, this card design would be perfect for any summer event, occasion or just to send happy summer smiles!

Thank you so much, Marine! This card is just so whimsical and fun! I’m looking forward to sharing your amazing cards and videos!
