Lawn Fawn Video {3.15.22} Kara’s Galaxy Card Set

It’s time for another cardmaking technique video by Kara! Today she shows us how to make 5 amazing cards from one watercolor galaxy! You can watch the video below of click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching, I hope it inspired you!

Kara created one large, galaxy universe on a sheet of watercolor paper. Then she divvied it up with very little waste to make this fantastic set of cards!

Our new set, Year Eleven, is the star of this mini slimline card! Kara also let the watercolor galaxy shine with just a bit of holographic cardstock to frame it! So simple and beautiful!

Another card featuring Year Eleven uses just a thin strip of the watercolor galaxy!

For this design, Kara made a frame for the smaller galaxy panel. Then she included the Super Star mouse and telescope! She even used up the last of the watercolor galaxy to cut out Henry’s ABCs to spell out planet!

This design features a combination of a star from Super Star and the bunny from Upon a Star. She silver-embossed the encouraging sentiment, also from Super Star.

For the last card, Kara used a galaxy panel as a backdrop for the cute images and sentiment from Beam Me Up! The silver-embossed greeting also includes Offset Sayings: Birthday.

Thank you for sharing your creativity with us today, Kara! I love these cards so much!

Grace is back today with another amazing project to inspire your crafting! This time she has the cutest Beam Me Up card, pencil toppers and shaker charms to share!

I’m sure Grace’s fun Valentine design will delight any kid, no matter their age! She used the adorable images from Beam Me Up in such fun and clever ways!

For the slimline card she started with a Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait as the base. Then she inked it and the Giant Sending Big Hugs greeting with Distress Oxide inks. She added some Fairy Dust Stencil Paste to the greeting using her finger to dab it on and give it lots of glittery goodness. She finished the card with the cute aliens and the fun sentiment!

Grace made the pencil toppers from Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables using the same Distress Oxide inks (check out the supply list below for all the colors she used). She punched two holes in each, then added more cute critters. She combined a sentiment from Beam Me Up with a Valentine message from Scent with Love Add-On.

For these clever shaker charms, Grace used the spaceship dies included in the Beam Me Up coordinating die set. She cut 4 with the additional window die and two solid pieces. She filled the windows with Chunky Glitter, covering them with acetate. Then she attached them to the pencils with Unicorn Tail cord.

Thank you so much for this amazing Valentine inspiration, Grace!

Lawn Fawn Video {3.16.21} Marine’s Space-themed Reveal Wheel Card

We hope you will join us starting this Friday, March 19th for another fantastic Inspiration Week! We will be showcasing the rest of our Spring 2021 Release with Design Team samples, Intro Videos and lots of great giveaways! We can’t wait!

Hello friends, we are so happy you joined us today! Marine has created the most amazing Reveal Wheel card with a fun “dreams of space” theme! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Marine created a fun world where this little girl dreams of becoming an astronaut! She combined Virtual Friends with a variety of sets to fill her space-themed scene! Be sure to check out supply list below for the names of all the sets she used.

Marine used the Reveal Wheel Square Add-On set on her standard card base so that she would have room at the bottom to add her encouraging sentiment using Finley’s ABCs and a phrase from Beam Me Up!

I just love the “planets” hanging from the ceiling and how Marine used Snowy Backdrop to add starry fun to the background!

Thank you so much, Marine! This card is so amazing!
