Karin’s Adorable Personalized Stitched Bookmark

Happy Sunday, friends, thanks for joining us today! Karin created a special photo frame bookmark that resembles those from a photo booth using Stitched Bookmark. It’s such a great gift idea to encourage kids (or anyone) to enjoy reading books!

Karin cut the Stitched Bookmark from white cardstock before attaching sweet photos in each of the windows.

She added lots of cuteness with a stack of books and the little bookworms from Little Woodland Library. I love how she used the Clear Glaze Pen to add shine to the bookworms’ glasses, such a special detail.

Then Karin added the tiny message in a speech bubble from Ugly and Bright. The Little Woodland Library messages also coordinate with All the Speech Bubbles and speech bubbles in lots of other sets.

Thank you so much for this sweet inspiration, Karin! It’s such a great idea and I can’t wait to start adding photos to the bookmarks!

Mayra’s Charming Library Scene

Save the date for Create with Us: Cheesy Christmas! Please join us November 8th, 2024, at 4:00PM PT / 7:00PM ET on YouTube Live!

Today Mayra shares a card design that will absolutely delight everyone! She created a library scene featuring Little Woodland Library that looks like a decorator’s dream! Read on to find out how she accessorized this charming scene.

Starting from the background, Mayra created a shiplap look with Simple Stripes Backdrop: Landscape. Then she made “bookshelves” using Stitched Rectangle Frames and filled them with books from Purrfectly Wicked, pumpkins from Happy Harvest and lanterns from Oh Gnome.

Next, she added Wonderful Window with a blustery Fall scene outside with You Autumn Know leaves and a streetlight from Here We Go A-Waddling. She used Distress Ink in Prize Ribbon and Blueprint Sketch to ink blend the sky.

And then Mayra assembled a lovely vignette with the Little Woodland Library rabbits sitting on a comfy sofa from Window Scene: Winter. She also added a rug from Christmas Dreams and a cute mushroom. Finally, she white embossed the sentiment on vellum.

I love your cozy scene, Mayra, thank you so much for inspiring us today!

Ivy’s Shaped Coffee Cup Cards and a Fun Shadow Box Scene!

September Inspiration Week is coming soon! Be sure to join us for another Big Giveaway on Wednesday, September 18 as we continue to shine the spotlight on our Fall & Winter 2024 Release! All the design team inspiration, intro videos and daily giveaways start on Thursday, September 19th! See you then!

Our sweet Fawnie, Ivy is back with more whimsical inspiration for you! She created a trio of shaped coffee cup cards and a clever shadow box scene in a Gift Box!

Fall and sunflowers is the theme of this set of shaped Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder cards! To see how to make a top-folding coffee cup shaped card check out Joy’s recent video tutorial HERE.

Ivy combined Falling Leaves petite papers, Sunflower Border and Magic Messages to create three unique shaped cards!

This super cute and clever scene is a shadow box created using the Gift Box die set and white woodgrain cardstock! Ivy assembled the box with the corner tabs on the outside, so they don’t show on the inside of the box frame. She cut a window and layered a cloudy stenciled panel behind before creating the windowpane simply by adding strips of 1/8″ double-sided tape.

Then the fun starts! Ivy colored the Little Woodland Library images using the coordinating Coloring Stencils. She used Copic markers to color the images from Crazy Antics (rug), Just Add Glitter (table and chairs), Sometimes Lift is Prickly (cactus) and beverages from Treat Cart Add-On: Coffee. Ivy arranged all the images in a cute library scene including Book Club Washi tape to add shelves of books!

Thank you so much, Ivy! Your creative projects are so fun and inspiring!
