First Saturday with Megan {9.2.23} A Happy Harvest Snow Globe Design!

Megan has some timely Happy Harvest inspiration for you as we start to see the seasons change to Autumn! As always, she brings her own beautifully whimsical style to this card design!


Megan continues her series of snow globe themed cards, this time with our beloved Happy Harvest scarecrow! The sweet trio of pumpkins and the signpost from the new Hay There, Hayrides look so perfect in this scene!

She used the Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On to fit the size of the scarecrow, but for a slightly smaller scene, our new Build-A-Snow Globe will be just right!


The lovely Scripty Autumn Sentiments set is just perfect for adding greetings to Autumn cards and all year long. I love how Megan white embossed “thanks” on an ink blended panel, before cutting it out with the coordinating die.

First Saturday with Megan {6.3.23} A Fun Hive Five Snow Globe Card

Happy First Saturday in June! It’s June gloom here in SoCal but Megan‘s clever Hive Five card is bringing the sunshine!


Megan created another charming snow globe card to highlight all the cuteness in the Hive Five set! She used Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On and an Outside In Stitched Circle to build the snow globe. She used Light Brown Woodgrain cardstock for the base and Holographic cardstock for the trim pieces. Then she used Honeycomb Stencil to add pattern and texture to the snow globe.


She added even more fun by including the bears from Den Sweet Den and Snow Much Fun! They are so perfect with all the sweet honey themed images!

First Saturday with Megan {3.4.23} Clever Snow Globe Eggstraordinary Easter Card

Megan has another cute and clever card design to inspire us today! This time she created an adorable Easter card using Eggstraordinary Easter!


Megan’s clever snow globe design starts with Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On. She inked a Circle Stackable, adding a Simple Grassy Hillside Border as a background for the scene and to cover the iris opening. She used Holographic and Woodgrain cardstock to die cut the details on the snow globe base.


Then she stamped and colored the cute images from Eggstraordinary Easter, Eggstraordinary Easter Add-On and Dad Jokes (two of the chicks). And then she assembled all the bunnies, chicks and other details to create a happy scene!
