Ivy is with us today to share two totally clever cards, one for a wedding and another for a birthday!
The first card is a unique wedding card that Ivy made at friend’s request! The taking the leap pun refers to the wedding on leap day! This super fun design is great for non-leap year weddings as well! She added the custom message using Smitty’s ABCs and Black Licorice ink!
Today is our showcase of Swan Soirée and its coordinating dies, Stitched Pond Frame and Cattails Border! I just swan to say… you’re going to love this stamp set! This family of swans, pond accessories, and matching sentiments is great for spring occasions like Mother’s Day, baby shower cards, weddings, and anniversaries. Make a cute pond for swans, frogs, and other critters with our Stitched Pond Frame. Finish the scene with lily pads, cattails, and grassy details. The Stitched Pond Frame pairs perfectly with Stitched Pond, making it great for creating shaker cards! Create backdrops for frogs, swans, and other cute pond critters with this cattails border.
The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a pair videos at the end showcasing some fun ways of using these new sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!
Elena used Swan Soirée to create a lovely Mother’s Day card! The colors she chose are so soft and beautiful! I love this layered pond scene!
For her so pretty in pink Swan Soirée design, Elise kept the scene sweet and simple with just a bit of ink blending in the background! She used one of her signature styles by swapping out a word from the sentiment and replacing it with Oliver’s Stitched ABCs! The pretty pastel Shimmer cardstock is the perfect shade of pink!
Marine used the Magic Picture Changer to make this magical card with a white swan and a black swan as a nod to Swan Lake! I love how she used the cattails, lily pads and lotus flowers from Swan Soirée to set the perfect scene!
I hope you have enjoyed this look at Swan Soirée, Stitched Pond Frame and Cattails Border! Tomorrow we have another fun set to show you! For now, though, it’s giveaway time! Leave us a comment telling us your idea for using Swan Soirée by March 18th at 5:00pm ET, and we will randomly pick one winner for this set! (If you already own this set and win, you can choose another set!) Make sure to come back tomorrow, Friday March 13th for our next inspiration week post!
