Hello everyone! I am finally particiapting in Embellish Magazine’s latest challenge. I have wanted to make a card from day one, but I just couldn’t come up with the right thing. Then today, I made two Embellish cards! Here is the challenge:
I love this challenge, not only for the gorgeous colors but also because this cause is dear to me. I lost my beloved grandmother to breast cancer almost ten years ago. Two weeks after she died, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Ten years later my Mom is now a two time breast cancer survivor.
I made this card with my grandmother in mind. She was always joking around and having fun. She loved beautiful flowers. And, I don’t think she would have minded some nice bling also! The cute phrase “tickled pink” just seemed perfect. I also love this gorgeous and delicate flower too. (Please scroll up for the card with my Mom in mind.)
I think this card is the perfect blend of Hero Arts, American Crafts and Papertrey Ink. I love these three companies, and I think they complement each other so well!
Also, please go over and vote for me (Kelly Alvarez) at Torendi! Help me get on the Torendi design team! I want this so much! Thank you!!!! Gracias!!!!
