Hello everyone! The holidays are so near. I can’t believe it. Mike and I braved the stores yesterday to do some last minute Christmas shopping. We considered the trip successful for two reasons. 1. We actually finished our shopping. 2. Our car only got hit by a shopping car once. Haha! 🙂 Anyways, on to the card! I made this card using this charm that I made a while back:I used alcohol inks to create a marbleized background on a Tim Holtz charm. You can read about it on this post here. 🙂
I decided to create a simple background for the charm so that it would stand out, so I stamped this Hero Arts design block in Versamark on kraft (one of my favorite looks). I stamped a quick sentiment in the corner, and then tied 5 colors of twine around the card and through the charm. I love that the colors of the twine pick up the different colors on the charm!
Don’t forget about the awesome Torendi stuff going on here and here! Buy something on sale and possibly come to the CHA trade show! Eeek! It is going to be such a blast!
Also, I wanted to thank Cath over at Moxie Fab World for featuring my card in the Christmas in the Old Country challenge. It was such a fun challenge! If you haven’t checked out Moxie Fab World before, you totally need to! Endless inspiration!
