Torendi with heart

Hello! I decided to break out my latest Torendi kit, “Bright” to make a valentine for Cards for St. Jude.Winter is gathering cards for the kids of St. Jude. She is so absolutely sweet to do this! Go to this post of hers to learn more about the card drive and the chance to win some prizes too. My husband works for a children’s hospital, so this is near and dear to our hearts. So please head on over to Winter’s blog for all of the details and join us in helping to make a day just a little brighter for these sweet kids.
Now that you’ve started on your “Cards for St. Jude“, let’s talk about the details! This card is all made from the Torendi “Bright” kit. How cute is that conversation heart brad?! It is seriously cute enough to eat (don’t worry, I refrained 😉 ). The gorgeous ribbon is American Crafts. I decided to tie a knot in the ribbon to make the card more gender neutral for the drive. I may just tie knots from now on though! I love it! My uggy ug handwriting also made its card debut. I practiced for so long just to make it that nice. Haha!
The “road” was cut from the American Crafts Driver’s Ed paper. I just followed the lines! The taxi is a Shinzi Katoh stamp. I just colored it, cut it out, and popped it up with some foam adhesive! Make sure you check out this Torendi kit. It is seriously fab! Then, make some cards for the Cards for St. Jude card drive! 🙂
