Paper Crafts March/April 2010

The new issue is out and full of happy and inspiration!

This issue has my first ever accepted cards in it. I am still in shock from it all! Here is one of them:That little baby green balloon makes me smile! Haha! I just keep giggling at the thought of a hot air balloon family. 🙂
Thank you so much to Paper Crafts! I am just so honored!

I am sorry I haven’t had many new cards lately! I have been hard at work on something super exciting. 🙂 Tune in on March 2nd to find out! 🙂 I hope you will be as excited as I am!

Have an amazing day,

SPCC #36

Hello! Guess what? This is my last SPCC challenge. I can’t believe it! Time flies! Thank you so much to Sam for having me on the team! Now on to the challenge!
Pretty colors, huh? Make sure to check out the SPCC site to see this week’s prize and to add your card to Mr. Linky!
I had a lot of fun combining products for this card! The clouds are from the Practicing Creativity Designs “You’re Dandy” set. So cute! I used Cosmo Cricket chipboard from the Torendi store, and Thickers and paper from the Baker’s Dozen Studio Calico kit. I have been having a lot of fun pleating paper lately. I think it looks so cool! I also love how the lines in that Basic Grey paper mimic the lines in the American Crafts Thickers! 🙂

Card stock: Neenah Paper Classic Linen (natural white)
Patterned paper: Basic Grey (rolling pin) – from Studio Calico’s Baker’s Dozen kit
Stamps: Practicing Creativity Designs (you’re dandy) – buy it here!

Ink: Ranger Distress Ink (scattered straw)

Chipboard: American Crafts Thickers (regards) – Studio Calico’s Baker’s Dozen kit, Cosmo Cricket (earth love 12″ ready set chipboard) – sold at Torendi
Thank you so much for visiting, and thank you again to Sam!
Have an amazing day,

Boo! Torendi Style

Okay, okay, I know it’s not Halloween, but it feels too cold for February, so I have Fall on the brain. Plus, I got these ADORABLE PacMan felt ghosties from Torendi. Jenn makes them herself, and they are beyond adorable! Like seriously adorable! There are Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man ones too! And to me this orange ghostie just screamed Halloween, actually it screamed, “boo!” Ba dum bum. I am such a dork! Haha!

I used glue dots to adhere the ghost and the letters are American Crafts Thickers. I rounded the top corners of the card to mimic the top of the ghost.

Card stock: Papertrey Ink (true black)
Feltie: Torendi (orange pacman ghost) – sold at Torendi
Stickers: American Crafts Thickers (leg warmers – awesome name! 🙂 )
Punch: Fiskars corner rounder
Thank you so much for visiting!
