A few things + the Paper Crafts magazine May/June 2011 Call!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share a few things today with you guys!

  • We should be getting all of our stamps back in stock during this next week! Woo! We also have blocks on order, too! Make sure to sign up for notifications if there is anything that you want! Also, you can always check out our retails stores in our FAQ section on our site to find some stamps that you want! If we aren’t in your local store, make sure to tell them about us! 🙂
  • Our booth locale for the CHA trade show (January 2011) is all locked in! We are so excited! We are busy creating our booth which we hope will feel like stepping into the world of Lawn Fawn! We hope to do videos from CHA so that we can share it with all of you!
  • We are SUPER close to 1000 fans on facebook! There will be a prize once we get there!!
  • The latest Paper Crafts magazine call is up and cards are due Monday at midnight! I thought I would post the call here because so many of the categories are great for Lawn Fawn! Have fun submitting!! 🙂
  • May/June 2011: Teacher Thanks & Grad Congrats
    As another school year comes to a close, teachers and grads deserve to be recognized! We’re looking for projects of all types and varieties (cards, gift bags and tags, gift card holders, paper crafted gifts, gift wrap, mini-album covers, etc.) that can be used to thank the teacher and congratulate the grad. Grab your notebook and jot down some ideas right now! We will not intentionally publish any projects that have appeared anywhere online (which includes but is not limited to blogs of any kind, galleries, or contest/challenge entry or winner). Submissions must not contain a watermark and should be photographed straight-on against a neutral background. Submissions deadline: Monday, November 8, 2010, at midnight MDT.

    May/June 2011: Mother’s Day Cards & Gifts
    Trendy mom, sporty mom, crafty mom, girly mom, coupon mom, empty-nest mom. The many types of moms in our lives deserve some paper crafted love on their big day! We’re looking for a variety of projects (including cards, gift bags and tags, gift card holders, paper crafted gifts, gift wraps, mini-album covers, etc.) in a variety of styles (classy and elegant, fun and cute, clean and graphic, or shabby chic or vintage) to make any mother’s heart melt. We will not intentionally publish any projects that have appeared anywhere online (which includes but is not limited to blogs of any kind, galleries, or contest/challenge entry or winner). Submissions must not contain a watermark and should be photographed straight-on against a neutral background. Submissions deadline: Monday, November 8, 2010, at midnight MDT.

    May/June 2011: Designer Challenge – What Makes it Masculine?
    Our readers often ask, “How do I make masculine cards?” You, dear designer, are here to answer that question. We’re looking for masculine cards, gift card holders, gift bags and tags, gift boxes, frames, mini-album covers, etc. for the men in your life for Father’s Day and graduation as well as occasions such as birthday, thank you, hello, sympathy, get well, encouragement, congratulations, etc. Submissions will be judged specifically on, “What makes it masculine?”, so think deliberately as you create! We will not intentionally publish any projects that have appeared anywhere online (which includes but is not limited to blogs of any kind, galleries, or contest/challenge entry or winner). Submissions must not contain a watermark and should be photographed straight-on against a neutral background. Submissions deadline: Monday, November 8, 2010, at midnight MDT.

    May/June 2011: The Seamstress’s World
    Sewing icons & motifs are “sew” trendy! Look around and you’ll see that dress forms, spools, sewing machines, stickpins, needles, pin cushions, thimbles, tape measures, and the like are popping up on skirts, scarves, pillows, t-shirts, dinnerware, and lunch bags. Submit paper crafted projects in which sewing motifs are a key part of the design for Mother’s Day (including projects for grandma) as well as other occasions such as graduation, birthday, thank you, hello, friendship, sympathy, get well, encouragement, congratulations, etc. NOTE: We aren’t looking for projects that use sewing techniques for this feature (though you can feel free to add that!). Instead, we’re looking for the images/icons that are associated with sewing as listed above. Projects can include but are not limited to cards, gift bags, home decor, mini-album covers, tags, and gift card holders.We will not intentionally publish any projects that have appeared anywhere online (which includes but is not limited to blogs of any kind, galleries, or contest/challenge entry or winner). Submissions must not contain a watermark and should be photographed straight-on against a neutral background. Submissions deadline: Monday, November 8, 2010, at midnight MDT.

    May/June 2011: Color Play
    Using just these four colors, create cards, gift bags, tags, mini-album covers, treat containers, etc. We’re looking for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and graduation projects as well as projects for other occasions such as birthday, thank you, hello, friendship, sympathy, get well, encouragement, etc. Stick as closely as possible to these Bazzill equivalents: Intense Pink, Parakeet, Lily White, and Nixon. We will not intentionally publish any projects that have appeared anywhere online (which includes but is not limited to blogs of any kind, galleries, or contest/challenge entry or winner).Submissions must not contain a watermark and should be photographed straight-on against a neutral background.     May/June 2011: Go-to Sketches
    Use these fun sketches to create cards, gift card holders, gift bags, tags, mini-album covers, treat containers, etc. We’re looking for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and graduation projects as well as projects for other occasions such as birthday, thank you, hello, friendship, sympathy, get well, encouragement, etc. Remember, flowers represent any kind of embellishment. We will not intentionally publish any projects that have appeared anywhere online (which includes but is not limited to blogs of any kind, galleries, or contest/challenge entry or winner).Submissions must not contain a watermark and should be photographed straight-on against a neutral background.
