How amazing is Chan‘s Chinese New Year card?! She used Jessie’s ABCs for a custom sentiment, and I love the way she used the curved line across the card! The bow placement is just perfect!

Tiffany‘s layout is stunning! It is absolutely genius to add the lanterns to an actual photo! She also combined paper piecing and copic coloring. Brads and twine are a perfect way to hang the lanterns! She also used Jessie’s ABCs and Fly Free to complete this fabby layout!

LawnFawn-shinebrightly-latishayoast

Latisha‘s card is so beautiful! The fairies in the lanterns is just so ethereal. I love how she used the “shine lines” from the set, too. That giant gem is just the cherry on top!

Lea Lawson-Lantern2

Lea‘s card is rainbow-tastic and I love it! The twine string is brilliant and the rainbow gems and inks are perfect! I love her use of shine lines around the sentiment. Beautiful!

Shine Brightly

Julie‘s card is so sweet and shows how to perfectly combine your awesome embellishments with this set. She used the small tassel as the lamp pull for the lamp embellishment and the sentiment goes perfectly!

LF_feb_shinebrightly_teri

Teri has come up with such a cool way to use the lanterns! So graphic. So cool. So Teri! 🙂 The paper piecing and angles are just perfect!

lunarlights2

Lynnette‘s card is perfectly sweet! She found the perfect patterned paper to compliment the lanterns and I love that she included the tiny tassel on the tiny lanterns! I also just adore her perfect bow!

LF_mgrigsby36a

Mariana’s card is gorgeous! I love the pierced holes as string and the continuing sentiment along the side. The gems on the top of the tassels look so cool! I can’t wait to try that!

Make sure you click on each of the design team’s names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!

Now, I have a little video for you showing you images and fun ways to use this set. I had to improvise on another computer so we don’t have our normal intro and transitions. I am also a little video-rusty, so go easy on me! Haha! I hope you enjoy it! Watch it below or at You Tube.

I hope you have enjoyed this sneak peek of “Lunar Lights”. Tomorrow we have our reveal! For now, though, it’s giveaway time! Leave me a comment telling me who or what inspires you to “shine brightly” by February 9th at 10:00pm EST, and we will randomly pick one winner!

Make sure to come back tomorrow, Thursday February 10th, at 12:01am EST for our reveal!

Thank you so much for all of your excitement! Your comments, tweets and facebook messages mean so much to us! I think Lawn Fawn fans are the best in the world. We love our Fawnies! 🙂

  1. beautiful projects. Especially like the lanterns on the photo, that's something you don't see everyday.

My shine bright inspiration is generally my dad. Having someone be proud of you is a boost.

  2. Love these lanterns! My adorable husband has been inspiring me to shine brightly – he is so supportive of me and my hobby and I love that! Of course I support him in his hobby too ;D He found out today that he's going to Mexico to represent Canada as a baseball umpire at the Pan Am Games!

  3. WOW!!! These cards are so gorgeous..i just LOVE them, Mariana's card is just fabulous, I too love the pierced string & the color combo. I would say my niece & nephew inspire me to shine brightly…and my Gma! 🙂

  4. When it comes to craft it would have to be my crafting friends that encourage me to shine brightly! I just love this set! Those fairy lanterns are just adorable!

  5. Wow, the DT cards are so beautiful and creative! The colors, textures and embellishments are just gorgeous. My "shine brightly" inspiration comes from my little 5 year old Nephew. He's awesome and crafty too! 🙂 -Nicole

  6. I shine brightly when I do something my baby loves and see how much he enjoys it!
There's nothing in the world that makes me happier than that!
Thanks for the beautiful inspiration and the sneak peak 🙂

  7. Love this set. These samples are gorgeous. Thanks for the video too. My family inspires me to shine brightly. I am always happiest when I do something and see how much it means to them. That's the best feeling ever.

  8. Wow, this is an exciting stamp set! I love how you always make them so versatile. My number one criteria when buying scrapbooking items is if I'm able to use it for multiple projects without it looking the same.

My daughter is no doubt the person who inspires me to shine the most. I aim to make myself better so I can be the best mom for her. She also got me into scrapbooking 'cause I knew I had to preserve all the memories from my pregnancy and all that followed.

  9. Such awesome samples – so creative and colorful and inspiring!!!

My girlie is definitely the one who inspires me to shine brightly – even on days where I don't want to!

Thanks for the chance to win.

  10. What a great set of cards the DT has made.

My mom has always inspired me to shine brightly. She isn't with us anymore, sadly enough, but she still inspires me in many ways to shine brightly.

    Marie-Anne

  11. What gorgeous cards again today 😉
    Love them!
Thanks for the giveaway chance. It's my hubby who makes my heart glow – he's one in a million and I don't know what I did to deserve him.

  12. great DT cards!

I am reminded to shine brightly by my Sunday school class of three years olds. They look to me as a role model and their "mom" for the hour and I know I need to be a light for God each week!

  13. This may sound odd but recently, I've been my own "shine brightly" inspiration. I made it a goal this year to make some forward changes and I'm trying to live up to my own plans and ideas.

  14. Oh my! These beautiful samples using the Lunar Lanterns kit make me want those stamps even more! Just beautiful, ladies!

  15. They're just getting better and BETTER!! I can't play the video (on phone) though wwwwaaaaaahhhhhaaaaahhhaaaa :(.

My (2) kids are what inspire me to shine brightly. Knowing that they're going to be watching everything (good & bad) that I do for guidance & inspiration (for who they'll become) really motivates me – on a daily basis – to live a live & be a woman worthy of their immitation. I take it very seriously.

Thanks for the chance to win & thanks for having the MOST inspiring DT there is. Wow!

  16. These stamps are amazing! I love the fun style and how versatile they are! Truly inspiring ideas from the Design Team! I can't wait to get my hands on some Lawn Fawn!

  17. Love the stamps and the great ideas in this hop.

I'm inspired by people with a positive attitude and people who volunteer for groups like Habitat for Humanity which do so much to help others.

I love the words – "shine brightly".

  18. This set is going to be so much fun to play with! I can't wait to get one home and get it inky.

I have a wonderful, wonderful husband and three darling, beautiful boys, but honestly the people who inspire me most can be found in this amazing papercrafting community. When I was a teen, I found a quote that changed my life. It was, "If you want to know what God designed you to do, look what you're doing when you shine." Well, here it is. This is it. Creating, crafting, being inspired and inspiring others is what fills me up, what makes me shine. In fact I wear a necklace every day with one tiny word etched in it's surface: shine. It's a constant reminder to me when I'm feeling down to peel back everything else, those protective layers that also hide the light inside, and get back to doing what I love best. What makes me feel the most me. And this papercraft community has been so welcoming and accepting. We're really all like a bunch of paper lanterns shining on each other and warming each other through our love and friendship and common bond.

Sorry to be so long and sappy, but that's the truth of it!

  19. Great video with almost all (I guess) the stamps in this Lunar Lights set being showcased! I really love every single of the stamps you show on your video! The DT creation is amazing and it gives me a lot of ideas other than using it for Lunar celebration!

On who inspires me to "shine brightly", I guess it will be my husband and daughter. Without them, my life would not be this joy and prosperous!

  20. These are crazy good!! My hubby inspires me by his kindness and generosity to others and my daughters inspire me, just for who they are. Thanks for the chance!

  21. I can't wait to get this set…I have ideas already running through my head! The light rays on a paper-pieced sun, for example… 🙂
My family inspires me everyday, to be the best daughter, sister, wife, mother I can be!

  22. GREAT video and AWESOME samples!!! I really love how you have large AND small lanterns AND lots of separate pieces to dress them up!!! Looks like a super fun set! My husband and my parents are always encouraging me to shine!!!!

  23. WOW! WOW! WOW!!! The DT samples are out of this world!!!! I can't get over how awesome they are!!!!!

  25. Such amazing samples from the DT today. They're truly inspiring!

My husband inspires me to shine by supporting my crazy hobbies and ideas with love, humor, and more than a little patience.

  26. Children definitely inspire me to shine brightly! Their innocent smiles and bright eyes bring joy and enchantment to anyone's day! I can't wait to see the complete set revealed-the samples look amazing!

  27. I've always been itching to buy a new set & I think I just found one!!! `=D

My family is definitely a huge part that inspires me to 'shine brightly' but also looking at photos from other crafters & seeing all the amazing projects he/she come up with like the samples shown here.

  28. Love this stamp set as usual! 🙂 I would say that my husband is my inspiration to shine brighly. I want to work hard for him so he can study and continue school.

  29. wow! you were right! these projects are so fantastic!!! i just love the layout! i think lawn fawn stamps inspire me!! all i have to do is look at a set and ideas start flowing!

  30. Yet again, another bunch of fabulous cards! I am loving the paper piecing, the coloring. So many things you can do. A few things inspire me to shine bright. Jesus! He inspires me to shine brightly as a reflection of him. My family – my husband and son and parents. I want to be a good wife, mother and daughter for them. And then all of my fellow crafters – their work inspires me so much! They keep me going in this industry!

  31. Lawn Fawn's design team is soooo creative and talented….can't wait to get my hands on the new stamp set. Karen

I would say that GOD makes me shine brightly–I'm so blessed and I don't deserve it. But HOOORAY for my Saviour–I'm blessed!

Thanks for the chance to win:) sbmmhoover at yahoo dot com

  35. Wonderful projects! Well, my wonderful husband, family and friends definitely make me shine brightly! I love how much good people in your life can make you laugh and smile! =) Thanks again for the chance to win!

  36. Thanks for checking out my silly blog 🙂

Anyway, the webcast with Charity Wings was live. When Elena walked the floor, I know that she went by your booth and everyone exclaimed their love for your adorable stuff (via the chat). I'm not sure if I missed you at some point.

The webcast was a fundraiser for Crops of Luv (an organization that makes albums for families of critically ill kids). Manufacturers and designers donated materials for people who paid the "entrance" fee (the donation), and we got a sneak peek at the upcoming lines and sometimes did some demos with them. I know they are planning to post the make and takes…not sure if they are posting the whole chat.

I think they are going to see if they can do it again at other CHAs…so I would reach out to Elena if you're interested in being on. I know I'd love to see you there 🙂

  37. Thanks for thinking of the Buddhists like me out there! Losar (a.k.a. Lunar New Year, Chinese New Year, or Buddhist New Year) is a favorite holiday of mine. It's so cool to find craft supplies with a theme that fits our holidays!

What makes me shine? My love for my rescue animals. Even if I feel lousy, they greet me with such excitement and honest need for my attention and love, how could I not give it to them? 🙂

  38. Fantastic samples!
My children inspire me to shine :>) Even when I am at my grumpiest they are able to turn it around – they actually think I am trying to be funny and it is hard to stay grumpy when you have 3 little ones laughing so hard!

  39. I know it seems corny, but my loving husband is my biggest inspiraton to create! I know I started all this to make things for my kids, but he was the one that made me want to do it creatively, and make it with loving care! He even takes my work to the office and shows it off! I do like to see other people's creative work, but it is the smile on his face that brings me joy!
