Today, I have a layout, a card made from what was left on my desk after the layout and a super speed video of that card! Phew!
I had so much fun making this layout with my Into The Wood Studio Calico kit. Almost everything was made with the kit! I painted the chipboard stars with Claudine Hellmuth paint and Distress Ink. I used Say Cheese to make a journaling area. I already had that photo printed, so I thought that would be a perfect place to journal! I used Say Cheese, Too on a Studio Calico sticker to create a custom element for the page.
My journaling reads: “Mike and Putter are my two favorite guys. They just make me smile and laugh. They are always there for me and stick by me through thick and thin. They are my perfect little family. <3 2009”
Now here is a video of the card I made with the stuff left on my desk. It is fast motion! I hope you guys like it!
Watch it here or at YouTube!
Here is my post-layout card. I added the stars from Teeny Tiny Backdrops with Malted Milk ink on the card base. It is super subtle and just a nice texture on the card. The Say Cheese polaroids are all paper pieced, and I used a nestability to create the 2.5″ square for the center. Add some washi tape and some Thickers, and it’s done! 🙂
Thanks so much for watching! Big hugs to you all! 🙂

That card is such a great use of the leftovers on your desk! TFS =)
Love the 2 new uses for the polaroid (jounraling and showcasing the punched piece). Love watching you move things around on the card and try diff colors and papers!!

Super fun video and I love that card. It's gorgeous!
Such a cute layout (and Putter is adorable!). Thanks for sharing. Oh, where do you get the washi tape? So cute, I'm not familiar with it.
Kelly, I love your layout and card! It's so fun to watch your creative process. I usually do the same thing with moving things around until it looks just right. Have a great day!

So cute! I love the LO and card! I didn't realize you had a separate blog from the Lawnscaping challenges! And from the store! Glad I found it! And PS-thanks for commenting on my 2'ps card!
Melissa – Lawnscaping is actually not Lawn Fawn's challenge. It is run by Laurel Beard and some other fantastic crafters! This is Lawn Fawn's official blog! 🙂 I hope it all makes sense now! Thank you so much for posting on 2peas with our stamps! 🙂
How darling! I love your layout and the card. Super cute! XOXO
Such a pretty and happy LO!! Love it!! And that card is too cute!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Gorgeous LO Kelly, I just LOVE the photo stamp you used, it's great to see it used in so many different ways. I got it in the post today, an early Mother's Day present! I have trained her well lol. Can't wait to play with it!
What a great card. I really love that Polaroid frame and it works so well on this card!
Saw the layout over at SC. And LOVE the card here! Awesome!!!
Especially great photo!
Me + these = HOT DOG!
Love them, Kelly!
I saw that layout on two peas and I love it!
ok, so I am st your shop, thinking of buying Say Cheese because of the cool card I saw in Cards magazine that used a unavailable, but similar polaroid stamp. (Then Nicole Magourik sp? made a fabulous layout in which she used Say Cheese at 2Peas). I decide to hop over to the blog to see what's going on there, and I see this totally amazing card! I'm so sold! I just love all of your videos, because they are so real! I love seeing that you change your mind, and struggle a little over where to place your elements, or which ribbon to choose. Thanks for sharing your talents and ideas, and I am so glad lawn fawn has been such a success!
Your posted layout, cards, and videos are fabulous!!!
