Hi, everyone! Today I have attempted to ever-so-difficult guy-card. I’ve decided that Clear to See is the perfect guy-card solution! I made this card for our friend that is watching our house and Putter when we go visit my grandfather. He is a no frills kind of guy, and I think this card is perfect for him! I used Just My Type, Too for the sentiment since it goes along with that Mad Men type feel of the glasses. I also added a Tim Holtz clip for good measure, since those are decidedly manly! Hehe! Let’s hope he likes it!
Have you guys attempted any guy-cards lately? What are some of your guy-card tips? I would love to hear them!
Card stock: NeenahPatterned Paper: Jillibean SoupStamps: Lawn Fawn (clear to see, just my type, too)Ink: Jenni Bowlin, Ranger DistressEtc: Tim Holtz clip, brown pen
Thank you so much for visiting!
Have an amazing day,
This is so stinkin cute!!! I love it when you make masculine cards! They can be such a challenge sometimes & you're great at them! This stamp set is so fun too – wow!

That is such a fun card! I think a guy would totally like this card, it's simple, clean, and to the point!
Very nice! I think a lot of stamps can go for male or female, I think the color scheme of the inks and papers really push it one way or another.
I love this Kelly Marie! So CAS and manly! Funny, I tried to get that set today, now I need it even more! It's bad, I think I own nearly every single set you've done, just a couple to get, oh naughty me!!
What a fabulous thank you card!!!
SO perfect for a guy!! I just made some thank yous that were supposed to be masculine, but it's so hard for me to not make them cutesy!

You did a wonderful 'guy' card! I have the hardest time with masculine cards as well. I always try to find masculine colors/papers to use, then go from there. For some reason I seem to keep my masculine cards more simple too…not really sure why? Just ends up that way. 🙂
This is a great guy card! 😉
This is a really fab guy card, Kelly!! Love it!! I don't really have good tips for guy cards, other than use a masculine patterned paper & keep it simple.
I hope your grandfather is doing better each day, and I'm sure he can't wait to see you. Enjoy your time visiting him.
I just found your awesome blog! From someone who has 5 brothers and two sons plus hubby, MAN CARDS are in high demand in my world! I keep it simple and put sentiments like "Dude…it's your birthday" and I use masculine brads. Great card!
I needed this! I lived for 20 years in a house with 5 men and just little old me… I have SO many male cards to make every years. It's so nice to get more examples – and this is a good one!
