  1. I really do not remember the first time I saw a firefly, but I remember that when we were kids we used to catch them and keep them in our closed hands to see them shining…so so long ago…

  2. The 1st time I saw a Fire Fly was when we moved to Wisconsin when I was about 10 years old. We used to catch them and put them in a jar to watch them glowing. So cool. I love this idea of glow in the dark Embossing Powder with the Fire Flies Set.

  3. My sister and I spent countless summers catching them and putting them in jars to sit on the nightstand to watch while we fell asleep. Mom used to make us release them the next morning but we'd catch more again the next night! I just love this glow in the dark embossing powder and it's such an exciting and fun new product to go along with such cute stamps!

  4. ooh, such beautiful inspirations :)))
I don't remember the first time I saw a firefly, but they were part of our childhood with my brother and we used to catch them and keep them in our closed hands :)))
    hugs xx

  5. These cards are so fun! My sister and I would catch and release em all the time! Seeing glow innthe dark has me mind wandering spooky to Halloween ideas too!

  6. When I was growing up it was a nightly event to catch lightening bugs, as we used to call them. Mom would give us a jar to keep them in and then encourage us to let them go before we trotted off to bed. Recently my future daughter in law visited. She's from Boston and was amazed to see the fireflies light up after dark. She had never seen one before. Love the cards and the fun glow in the dark powder. Such a fun way to bring the card to life!

  7. Got my powder on order! Next one is the dies and stamps! These cards are so cute! The first time I saw fireflies or as we call then lightening bugs was when I moved from the city out to the country way back in the 70's. We would catch them and put them in jars until it was time to come in and then we would let them go.

  8. This is just the cutest set and the idea for glowing powder is an awesome one!! We refer go these little guys as lightning bugs here and though I'm sure I saw them long before this memory, my first recollection of them was during a summer vacation spent at my grandparents. I was sitting outside dripping popsicle from my elbow watching my grandfather make a newspaper boat. He told me that if I could catch enough without hurting them, I would be able to see in the dark. I can't tell you how many summer nights after that we spent collecting lightning in a jar!

  9. These samples are just darling. Can't wait to try these. I don't remember my first time seeing fireflies because I was probably one or two. In the Midwest they are everywhere in mid-summer.

  10. I was just a youngster and we were outside playing in our neighbourhood one evening (that's all we did back then, no computers). Dad pointed out the fireflies to my brother and I. We were fascinated by them! Of course, my brother wanted to catch one in a jar and eventually did. I don't seem to see them any more but I guess it's because I'm not outside playing in my yard after dark! Your new release is AWESOME and thanks for the fun childhood memories!

  11. Mama's sister lived in Arkansas and that first visit was my introduction in to fireflies! How delightful for a kid to see such a wonder.

  12. I love all of these projects!! Adorable! I'm super happy that this embossing powder was one of the goodies I purchased from this release! So many possibilities!

The 1st time I saw a firefly, I was visiting my sister in law in New York (I've still never seen one in FL, where I live). They were like magic and so beautiful! I plan to take my kids up this summer and give them THEIR first firefly sightings! Can't wait.

  13. I have fond memory of spotting my first firefly in rural upstate New York when I was about 8-9 years old. I was camping with my Girl Scout troop. These stamps bring back good times. 🙂

  14. Wow That is going back a long way for me but I would state around 8 years old in our backyard – and I can say for sure we have lots of fireflies in our backyard behind our condo here in Michigan – love the light up idea very much!

  15. I love these glow in the dark cards. We lived in the country and had many of these when I was a kid. I was probably around 5 years old when I really remember seeing them. No a/c so we would sit outside. Sometimes we put them in jars and I hate to say this but one time we squished them to watch the glow. Oh boy…………no hate mail, please. It was all my parents fault for telling us to squish the poor little things.

I do wish everyone could experience seeing them as it is a delight. Rare with hardly any natural woods around us. [Bunny]

  16. I love these little fireflies, they are so adorable. The first time I saw a firefly was in High School, my parrnts and I took a trip to Illinois. We live in the west and don't have fireflies where I live. It was an amazing experience I will never forget it.

  17. I have no idea when I first saw fireflies. Very young probably. I've been in NC for 26 years now and fireflies (or lightning bugs) are one of my favorite things. I look forward to them every year. Love the magical lights!

  18. The first (and last!) time I saw a firefly was when I was 5 and my family took a roadtrip to the midwest to visit family. I remember being mesmerized. Super cute makes by the DT!

  19. Sadly I was 37 before I saw my first firefly. I was in New Jersey and one flew in the car when we were leaving a restaurant. I held him in my hand and watches him flicker the whole way home. I've been obssesob with them ever since… They are so facinating.

  20. Oh my goodness! These are absolutely to die for! LOVE those cute lil fireflies and the embossing powder is brilliant! The team's creations are all fabulous and oh so fun! LOVE ♥

First time I saw a firefly? Oh dear….I can't say as I remember. I grew up in the south and they are all over the place (and it sure seems like they were around for a longer period of time each year than they are here in Ohio). I had to be way too young the first time to even remotely remember it. It's a very good question to ask my mother about, though. She's bound to remember my reaction. For as long as I can remember, we used to go out and catch them every chance we got.

  21. Ironically it was only 20 years ago when I moved into our house in the country and on the first really hot night it was like fireworks behind our house! They were all over the pine trees, grass and creek!!! Gorgeous!

  22. So cute! I adore the glow in the dark embossing powder, it's so clever! I can't really remember the first time I saw a firefly. They are abundant here (Nebraska) in the summer so they have been around for my entire life. We used to catch them and then let them go. So cool! 🙂

  23. I just LOVE the glow in the dark embossing powder, how fun!!! It's been too many years ago to remember the first time seeing a firefly, or lightning bug, as we call them. But I do look forward to seeing them in the Spring, and my son and I always go chasing after them 🙂

  24. Awesome cards, I just love things that glow in the dark! I remember catching lightning bugs as a kid, but I don't remember the first time I saw one, so I must have been pretty little.

  25. I don't remember when I first saw fireflies. I do remember that I enjoyed catching them in my hands and then releasing them. The best was when my little girl decided she had to go out each night and catch her some fireflies. This is a really great release. Can't wait to play with the glow-in-dark embossing powder.

  26. I absolutely love everything about this. Interactive cards are by far are my favourite. However, they are always so time consuming to make that I end up purchasing supplies to make them, and then only use them once. But these are way too COOL! And only stamps plus embossing powder to make them!!! Super easy! And the sayings and images, too cute!!! I don't think I have ever seen a firefly. How horrible is that, or if I did I can't remember. I guess I live way to far north where nothing lives because it is too cold.

  27. I remember catching fireflies when I was a kid. I always look forward to seeing them each summer just before the 4th of July. This glow in the dark embossing powder is a must have!!!!

  28. Oh, my, these are THE cutest bugs ever!!! And the glow in the dark embossing powder?? Genius!!! I grew up in the country in New Hampshire and we used to go out and catch fireflies when I was little. I have no idea how old I was when I first saw them; probably grew up seeing them once I was old enough to stay up late enough for them to come out.

  29. This is one of my faves from the release! Love that little light bulb! I'm not sure I actually remember the very first time I saw a firefly as I was probably very little! We used to go camping every Summer and it seemed so much darker where we were at with so many fireflies that I couldn't catch them all. I would name them as I put them in my jar! LOL! Fun memories!

  30. We have lots of fireflies in Minnesota. I've never really thought about them not being here. I love to sit outside on a summer night to watch their glow. The first time I was in far northern MN I was amazed by how bright they actually are when there are no other lights around.

  31. The first time I saw fireflies was when I was visiting my grandparents. I was very young and had no idea what this little lighted thing was and it was flying! I was fascinated and spent many a minute watching them. I had a short attention span back then.

  32. When I was about 7years old my mother gave me a Mason jar and told me to go catch fireflies. I remember being so excited to be let out at night and catch such a beautiful creature that God had made. I looked at them in the jar for a long while and then let them go explore the Earth longer. A beautiful memory of mine. Thanks for the opportunity to own a reminder of my experience as a little girl.

  33. How cute! Love the glow-in-the-dark embossing powder and what the designers did with it. In my neck of the woods we call them lightning bugs and I don't know that I remember the very first time I saw one, but I remember spending many nights out in the yard chasing them when I was young. We have a lot of them around here so it was always fun and magical to see them. Thank you for the chance to win!!

  34. The first time I saw fireflies twinkling on a summer evening was many years ago while I was visiting Ohio, I couldn’t believe how many little lights were floating in the air…beautiful experience.

  35. these glow in the dark cards would seriously amaze the recipient!!
Can't remember the first time I saw a firefly but we used to chase them and pop them in a jar – amazing creatures:)

  36. I hope this still counts, but I have only lived in the SF Bay Area & Arizona & so I have never seen a real firefly in person. Love this firefly set & cannot wait to get the glow in the dark embossing powder, that will be awesome! Thanks as always, Lawn Fawn!😊

  37. I have never seen a firefly. 🙁. Mosquitos, crane flies and dragonflies, but we don’t have fireflies up here in the Pacific Northwest. Great cards and I love the glow in the dark ep.

  38. Oooh I LOVE that glow in the dark embossing! The first time I saw a firefly was when I was visiting my brother in the suburbs of NJ when I was living in NYC 10 years ago. The light was fascinating! I'd never seen anything like that before in real life (only fake fireflies in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland – LOL).

  39. These stamp sets are so much fun! The glow in the dark embossing powder just puts them over the top! I know my nephew would love these. When I was growing up, there were fireflys out every night. I don't know the first time I saw one because I was too little!

  40. I know we caught fireflies as children. I still see them in my backyard. These are really cute cards, and I learn so much from watching your videos about stamping and such, thank you!

  41. Oh my, what awesome product this is, love the fun creation too! The first time I saw firefly was when I visited my grandma house, she lives in the country side, that was an amazing experience!

  42. I remember catching fireflies when I was a little girl, but can't remember the first time. It is fun watching small children try to catch them. Love the cards and ideas today!

  43. This is so cute!! I Love the fireflies!! Reminds me on catching them in the yard as a child!!😇💛😇. They are all so Adorable! Love the jar card, but I love them all!! Super cute!! ❤️💛❤️💛❤️

  44. Adorable cards and projects, love how cute the little fireflies are, and that glow in the dark embossing powder!! I have never seen a firefly before =( Hope to be able to see them someday!

  45. I somewhat remember my first time seeing a firefly. I was always staying at my grandmother's on the farm out in the country and there was no lights and it was absolutely amazing to go out and chase them.

  46. I love this set– one of my top favorites from this set– and glow-in-the-dark embossing powder?! icing on the cake!!!!!
I don't remember the first time that I saw fireflies. But one of my most favorite and magical memories of fireflies happened shortly after I got married. My husband and I had gone to a wedding of friends, and to get back to where we were staying, we drove through the countryside of Iowa. The road that we were on was a bit raised above the corn and soybean fields on either side. As we drove through the evening dark, my husband told me to look out over the fields. There were thousands of fireflies sparkling over the plants. It was incredibly beautiful– just like stars had come down and were twinkling on the surface of the earth. I wish I had the words to adequately capture it, but I hope that someday I'll be able to see that again!

  47. These are adorable! We had lots of fireflies in western PA where I grew up, so I guess I was probably quite small when I first noticed them. But I still love watching them when the sun sets.

  48. At 77, it's been too many years ago that I saw my first firefly.
I remember catching them and putting them in a jar. I passed
on that tradition to the kids and the granddaughter. Now I
seldom see a firefly. Guess that's nature moving on.
Love the glow in the dark embossing powder. Have to get
some of that. thanks for sharing so many great ideas.

  49. Wow! How cool and I can't wait to give the Glow in the Dark Embossing Powder a try!!!
I don't remember when I saw my first fire fly; but, my Mom always told me (and everyone else) that she would take outside when the fireflies came out and I would chase them and try to catch them with my chubby little hands!

  50. So so cute – I'll be getting all these sets for sure! Thanks for the bonus chance to win! I've never ever seen a firefly. I'm from Australia and I don't think we have them here at all!

  51. I honestly don't remember the first time I saw a firefly, but I do know that I still feel a special joy every summer when I see one. I have loved them for 50 years!! When I saw you had a firefly set, I actually gasped with delight, and have been eagerly waiting for the new products to be released. The stamps would be nice enough, but GLOW IN THE DARK ability!! It is out of this world SENSATIONAL!!!! #justlovefireflies #LawnFawnisamazing

  52. I love the glow-in-the-dark embossing powder!!!!☺ Fireflies always remind me of my Poppy. When I was a small child, catching "light'ning bugs" was something I looked forward to every summer. One night I was at my grandparents' home and the "bugs" were just everywhere. I ran in the house to ask my Poppy for a jar and would he poke holes in the lid, so I could keep them awhile. He proceeded to ask how I would like some big bug to come and put me in a jar…let's just say it was just catch & release for me from then on.😂

  53. I saw my first firefly in Minnesota as a kid. Many years later saw them in Central Park on a NYC visit with my daughter on a summer
    evening…….just magical!

  54. This is amazing! Love the glow in the dark with the fireflies. The first time I saw a firefly was when I was about 6 years old. My sister and I would try to catch them and put them in a jar.

  55. These are so much fun! I think I'll have to buy some of this glow in the dark embossing powder! Thank you so much for the inspiration. I've never seen a firefly in person.. one day. So for now I'll happily take the Lawn Fawn Fireflies! 🙂

  56. I was a small child and we chased the fireflies around trying to catch them. It was so much fun. The glow in the dark embossing powder sound awesome. Thanks for sharing…

  57. I must have been about 6 or 7 and my grandma showed me how to catch them and peek at them and let them go – seems like I have not seen them in ages – sad to say – probably too busy to notice.

  58. Love the new fireflies and glow in dark embossing powder..i remember trying to catch them..lol love sitting outside and seeing them at night!!! Thank you so much for the chance to win!!

  59. I remember being five playing with my sister's and cousins in our back yard at night. They were all over the place. We wood catch them and put in jars and use them as a night light beside our beds. We would let them go in the morning

  60. I can’t remember when I first saw a firefly since I’ve been around them my whole life. I do remember summer nights when my neighborhood friends and I would catch them in jars and I’d put them in my bedroom at bedtime to watch them flicker as I went to sleep. The bad part about them is they never lasted in captivity overnight so I was always bummed when I woke up. I’m glad the Lawn Fawn versions will never stop glowing!

  61. My first and only firefly experience was about twelve years ago when I visited my sister in Savannah Georgia early summer. It was so humid hot but at the same time exciting to see the glowing fireflys.

  62. The first time I saw a firefly would have been at my family's cottage. Summers spent there have always been so special! I love how sweet and fun today's cards are. What a cool surprise to have glow in the dark elements!

  63. Think of it, I don't know if I've ever come across fireflies! They're not that common in my area.
Love seeing the glow in the dark powder in action! Got me rethinking getting a jar of my own! 🙂

  64. This embossing powder looks amazing! And paired with these fun new stamp sets, it really is something new! I have never seen a fire fly… Only in movies and on your card inspiration 😉

  65. I am so excited as I just got my notice that my latest order is on it's way! All those brand new stamps and dies! I am like a kid in a candy store waiting impatiently too! I loved loved loved your card!

  66. I don't think that I've ever seen a firefly, I'm not sure if we have them in Australia.
I think I will have to get some of that glow in the dark embossing powder as it looks like fun to use. That means that I will also have to get some of these stamp sets that are just so darn cute!

  67. Although I don't remember exactly when I first saw fireflies, I definitely remember trying to catch them.
Cute stamp set 🙂 will sure look stunning with the glow in the dark embossing power.

  68. WOW – WONDERFUL!
I've only seen them in documentaries … I have seen glow worms though … does that count? We were on a boat tour in a cave in New Zealand, the torches got turned off then the MAGIC happened 🙂

  69. My sisters and I used to catch lightning bugs on summer evenings and keep them in a jar for a nightlight, releasing them the next morning. I still love to see them winking in the night outside my bedroom window.

  70. I was about five and we were at my paternal grandparents' house— my cousins were there and we ran around the back yard trying to catch them. I remember also that I was in my late 20s before I found out that not all parts of America had lightning bugs (as we call them in Cincinnati)…I always took for granted that everybody got to see them. 🙂

  71. My parents took us to see an elderly aunt who lived outside the city in the countryside…I was about five years old…she gave us a jar to catch fireflies…it was like a magical universe.

  72. Great inspirations! I love Audrey's in the mason jar.
Growing up on the coast of CA, I had never seen fireflies 🙁
Then about 4 years ago, I was in St. Louis, during the summer and low and behold there the little magical creatures were. I sat in that park for hours watching them. Great memories, no matter what age you are 🙂

  73. I just love this little firefly set it is absolutely adorable!!! I can remember as a kid playing with fireflies in my neighborhood with all of my friends. Summer nights were the best! 🙂

  74. Beautiful cards! Grew up playing with fireflies. We called them lightning bugs in the Midwest because they glowed brighter and longer just before a big lightning rain storm. My favorite had a reddish orange glow.

  75. I was a young girl the first time I saw a firefly. I remember trying to catch them in my hands. When I caught one, I loved to watch it glow and then I let it go. I was always careful not to hurt them. I love the new firefly set and the glow in the dark embossing powder!!

  76. These products and the cards remind me of all my summers as a child growing up in rural Indiana! Not until I moved to Utah did I realize how special fireflies were and could no longer enjoy them. 🙂

  77. These fireflies got me so excited to use with the new embossing powder that glows in the dark…how neat to be able to recreate my childhood of catching "lightning bugs" as we called them out on the farm at my grandparents.

  78. Can't wait to get my preorder from this release, it's on its way!! I have to admit that I have never seen a firefly in person. (I live in a major city).

  79. I never knew they were fireflies always called them lightening bugs. First time I saw them? I cant remember how old I was, just kind of always remember them.
I remember playing with my brothers and we'd try to anticipate where they would light up next. I still see them in my back yard, and I find myself still trying to anticipate where they are gonna light up.

  80. Growing up in Texas, we called the lightening bugs. I first saw them at my grandparents farm; I was three years old. Every summer we (my brother, sisters, cousins and I) would try and catch them! We tried catching them in the backyard, but we were in the city so the bugs were hard to find,

  81. We called them lightening bugs. I remember always having them around growing up. My friends would put them in jars but I didn't want to keep them away from their friends. So I would catch them, let them walk on my hands the fly away.

  82. I only want to say that I love all new Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. I think is most beautiful colection ever seen! Really.
Regarding the fireflys…I have not seen any, only in TV or in books. I´m not sure if we have them in Spain…

  83. I have saw fireflies my entire childhood. Brings back such amazing memories. My entire backyard would light up at nighttime, when I lived in Texas. I would love catching them and putting them in a jar. Putting air holes at the top, and keeping them in my room at night as I slept. One of God's little miracles for sure!

  84. The first time I saw fireflies (we call them lightning bugs!) was in my grandparents backyard as a kid! I thought they were so beautiful! It felt like magic watching lights dancing in the air. Thanks for this amazing stamp set!!!

  85. Beyond cuteness! I grew up in Erie, PA and I remember being just alittle child in our backyard catching fireflies to put in a jar.Brings back warm fond memories of my mom and dad who passed away too young. Also love love the Pirates of the Carribean at Disneyland inside the restaurant where you can eat and watch the people in boats pass by. It’s my favorite place to have lunch there when I go! I live in San Diego now since 1989. TY for an awesome giveaway!

  86. Such fun! I loved glow-in-the-dark posters and things as a kid. My mother had glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling. These would be fun to find new ways to use.

  87. When I first saw the post for the glow in the dark embossing powder plus the little fireflies stamps and dies I couldn’t help but remember my summers in the country in Indiana. It’s a beautiful sight to see those little creatures glow so beautifully in the evenings. So having that memory and the invention of this glow in the dark powder is amazing! Now that I live in Texas I can send some memorable cards to my family in Indiana to remember when we all gathered during the summers just chilling and having fun while seeing these little creatures do there thing.

  88. These are SO cool! I can't wait to get this to play with!! I always loved collecting fireflies in a jar (non airtight) -don't remember the first time as they were just part of Indiana life.

  89. I would say I remember seeing them at the age of 6, living in Iowa. Loved running around and catching them. Just last year I caught one and showed my daughter and friend how easy it is to just get them to land on you versus chasing them. It was very cool to see a couple of teenagers enjoying such a in the nature moment !

  90. I was 6 when I saw my first firefly. Me and my sweet sister were playing outside after dinner. We never really bonded before then. My eyes opened when I saw that firefly, I felt a connection. When I see a firefly, I remember when we bonded. It was glowing and so was I. It was a amazing moment that I will always remember. I would like the stamp set to send to my sister that I have not talked to in years. Hopefully, this set will bring us together and we talk like we did when I was a child.

    Sam

  91. I was 42 years old the first time I saw a firefly. About 10 years ago I took a road trip from Cali to Tennessee with a friend. We were on her uncle's porch and the kids were catching fireflies. Of course then we had to do a tick check when the kids came in…another first!😁

  92. These examples are adorable! Growing up we would go to Ohio during the summer to visit my Mom's family. My Grandma lived right on the Ohio River, every night my brother and I would try to catch lightning bugs on the river bank. I was probably 5 or 6 when I remember catching lightning bugs for the first time.

  93. I don't remember the first time I saw a firefly but my whole childhood is full of memories of catching them with my neighborhood friends. Just wonderful memories

  94. I've never seen a firefly but we have an awesome glow-worm cave in my city (in New Zealand) it's absolutely beautiful to visit! So sad the wee firefly sold out before I could order it 🙁
