Lawn Fawn Intro: Virtual Friends Add-On, Plaid Stencils

Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s May 2021 Inspiration and Release week! On May 13th our 7 new stamp sets and coordinating dies, 9 new standalone die sets, and all of our exciting new products will be for sale at your favorite store and at www.lawnfawn.com! Woohoo! Today is our showcase of Virtual Friends Add-On and its coordinating dies! This adorable add-on to Virtual Friends brings extra cuteness and more accessories to the work-from-home critter office. It comes complete with a hard working (or hardly working) mouse, comfy office chair, a plant, a mug, a banner, and a cup filled with pens. It’s great as an add-on, or by itself!

We are also highlighting our new Plaid Stencils today! Create a cute plaid background with this set of two stencils. These work well with a variety of crafty techniques. Use the two stencils separately for a simple striped background or layer both together for the complete plaid look!

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a little video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using this new set! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Grace framed her cute little home-office scene inside an Outside In Stitched Circle! She used the desk from Virtual Friends with the Virtual Friends Add-On set. In addition to the pencil cup and potted plant included in the set, she added the desk lamp from You’re Just My Type and the tape dispenser from Holiday Helpers! The Holographic Finley’s ABCs letters spell out the greeting!

Lynnette was inspired by the Really Rainbow paper to add bright color to this happy scene! The mouse has some friends (from Virtual Friends and Bubbles of Joy) to help him celebrate a virtual birthday!

Audrey used a sentiment banner with a Father’s Day greeting to ground her little Virtual Friends Add-On vignette. She added another sentiment and thought bubble from Happy Hugs! For the background, Audrey created a fantastic diagonal design with our new Plaid Stencils!

Latisha omitted the desk chair while assembling the plant, pencil cup and little mouse on the Virtual Friends desk! The banners add lots of fun color and Woodgrain cardstock creates great texture for this clean and simple card!

Kara made the most adorable mini card using Mushroom House! She gave it lots of character, detail and fun pops of red! But wait till you see who is inside…

…it’s our charming little gnome! He looks so comfy sitting on the Virtual Friends Add-On office chair while enjoying a cup of coffee! Way too cute!

Rebecca’s cute card features Perfectly Plaid Remix paper as a backdrop to the office scene! She added the books from Den Sweet Den to the desk to show that this little mouse is busy studying! I will recreate this design in the Virtual Friends Add-On intro video below!

With lots of people working from home, the phrase “from my desk to yours” is more appropriate than ever! Elise paired this sentiment with “sending smiles” for an adorable card that certainly makes me smile! These sentiments are included in Virtual Friends Add-On. I just love the Screen Time girl holding a letter from Special Delivery!

Mindy‘s cheerful birthday card is a fun Reveal Wheel! She styled this cool office scene with Into the Woods Remix “wallpaper” and festive banners!

For her Virtual Friends Add-On card, Elena used books and the framed “photo” from Den Sweet Den and the camera from Ocean Shell-fie to fill the office! She stenciled a pretty pastel plaid on the wall with our new Plaid Stencils set!

Megan decorated her tall slimline card as the most adorable little boy’s room! I love the shelves holding treasures (from Out of this World and Plan on It: School) and all the fun desk accessories! The boy from Screen Time is having a virtual chat with his Tiny Friends grandparents! This card is just so special!

Such a happy card! Tammy assembled Virtual Friends with Virtual Friends Add-On to make this wonderful birthday card! The ink-blended background and the Outside In Stitched Circle cut from Hello Sunshine paper add to the cuteness of her fantastic design!

Marine created one of her epic scenes and it’s amazing! The little mice got together to play some video games with controllers and snacks from the Screen Time set! I love how she placed the console on the stack of books! This is the perfect birthday card for a video game fan!

My favorite things (I can never have just one favorite of anything – lol!) on my desk are my son’s cat and a small, round, cheerfully embroidered tablecloth that my Mom made in the ’40s. I fold it and use it as a covering for my Cricut machine! And one more favorite is a small, jointed Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz made out of colored string and beads with a tag that reads “The Tin Man reminds you to live lightheartedly” – he even has a funnel hat and is holding a tiny axe! He was a gift from my daughter.

  182. omg the chair everyone was begging for! hehe. my favorite thing on my desk? my work desks are pretty bare (at home, it’s just a table in my bedroom and at work i keep all my favorite things on the shelf behind me), but my craft desk now has some awesome artwork by abigail!

On my crafty desk, my favorite thing is absolutely my coffee mug that reads “Bitch please, I’m from Jersey!” It is a gift that keeps on giving; laughter that is! 😂

He actually broke it and had to repair it before he gave it to me but it is a treasure. It has flowers painted on it. I used it at the Post Office I worked at. It’s on my craft desk now and it holds my tephlon bone folder, a few pens, my glue pen, and my Tim Holtz snippers.

  476. Funny enough, my favorite thing is the very first card my daughter made for me using Lawn Fawn products. We were on vacation at the beach and that was her big request… to make a shaker card together. She had made cards before, but we were a little newer to the LF fam and stamp coloring back then.
