Grace’s “Best Pop Ever” Trio of Interactive Cards

Grace shares an amazing set of interactive cards for Father’s Day! Her pop-themed designs are so clever and just the perfect way to thank the “best pop ever”! She used Swish ‘n Pop Pull-Tab on two of the cards and Let’s Toast Pull-Tab Add-On for the third card!

This trio of cards shows Grace’s awesome creativity! With “pop” as her theme, she used popcorn, popsicle and a toaster pop tart to illustrate it to perfection!

To create this super clever card, Grace started with a sheet of Let It Shine- red sprinkle ‘n shine 12×12 paper. She cut a rectangle then cut a slight diagonal on each side to give it a classic popcorn tub shape. Then she brought in the colors that tie all these designs together: black, red, yellow and aqua in each of the elements and greetings! She used the Father’s Day greetings found in our Reveal Wheel Spring Sentiments set, along with Happy Happy Happy and Oliver’s Stitched ABCs.

Grace made this an interactive slimline card using Swish ‘n Pop Pull-Tab! That adorable Bubbles of Joy mouse at the top moves as the tab is pulled!

To create the look of popcorn, Grace used Bubble Border cut in segments and Lawn Cuts coordinating dies for Bubbles of Joy. And then she inked them up to look like yummy buttery popcorn!

I Scream, You Scream and Sunburst Backdrop star in this popsicle themed design! Grace continued the color story with the sunny background and gave with popsicle a some shine with clear embossing ink and clear embossing powder!

The cute mouse is at it again, this time the Swish ‘n Pop Pull-Tab moves the whole popsicle across the card! The other mice are enjoying popsicles from Crazy Antics.

For this greeting, Grace combined Oliver’s Stitched ABCs with a sentiment from Simply Summer Sentiments. She used holographic cardstock to die cut the label shape from Fancy Box; it makes this greeting “pop”!

The third design features Let’s Toast and Let’s Toast Pull-Tab Add-On! Grace used more holographic cardstock to give the toaster a reflective retro look! She brought in a mouse from A Creature Was Stirring with the mice from Dandy Day and Virtual Friends!

Grace used Sunburst Backdrop on this card as well, this time she inked it up with pretty aqua ink! As another design element to tie this card set together, Grace used Starry Sky Stencil to add interest, color and sparkle!

It wouldn’t be Father’s Day without those small tokens of our appreciation! Grace designed fun (and coordinating) ways to shower dad with gifts of fun! To create the topper for the bag of caramel corn, Grace folded a Scalloped Rectangle in half and added a coordinating greeting. She made a Fancy Box as well to hold a gift card or other small item for dear old dad!

Wow, this is such a fun idea, Grace! Thank you so much for sharing these amazing designs with us today!
