Caly’s You Autumn Know Card; Have a Happy Day!

Happy Friday! Caly has the sweetest You Autumn Know design to inspire your weekend crafting!

Caly’s adorable design starts with some beautiful stenciling using Fall Leaves Background Stencils! She used a lovely Fall color palette using Lawn Fawn ink (see the supply list below) but she kept the colors soft.

Then Caly stamped and colored the cute images from You Autumn Know in deeper, richer shades of the same colors! These adorable mice sure know how to have fun with the colorful Fall leaves! Have a happy day is the perfect sentiment for this happy design!

Lawn Fawn Video {9.23.21} Kara’s Fabulous Fall Flippy Flappy Card

Hello Friends, Fall has finally arrived and it’s the perfect time to enjoy a cozy hot beverage! Maybe a pumpkin spice latte? Kara is with us today to show how she created her Lovely Latte and Flippy Flappy card! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Kara created a gorgeous background with rich color using Distress Inks on watercolor paper. She also created a colorful panel paper-piece the Lovely Latte! Then to take her design right over the top, she stenciled the fall leaves with shiny Gold Stencil Paste! As a finishing touch, she layered the paper-pieced cup over a Magic Iris Fall Leaves Add-On wreath! So lovely!

She used this panel to conceal the Flippy Flappy workings beneath. When the recipient pulls the tab, they will be surprised with a gift card!

Glow-in-the-Dark Magic and a Charming Fairy Village with Grace!

I’m so happy to share two amazing card designs by Grace! She gave this pair of magical cards her own beautiful style, I know they will inspire you!

Grace has created a gorgeous glow-in-the-dark Flippy Flappy card and a slimline card with a charming row of fairy houses!

In order to create a charming scene for the Fairy Friends, Grace chose Mushroom Border and Little Picket Fence Border! And then, she stenciled a starry sky with Glow-in-the-Dark Stencil Paste. She even used a paint brush to add a little glow to the mushrooms and fairies wings!

The magic happens when you turn the lights off and this little gem glows like crazy! So cool! But that’s not all it does!

When you give the little tab a pull the rest of the sweet sentiment appears via the Flippy Flappy! Grace inked and stenciled the stitched panel included in the Flippy Flappy set to deliver the the glowing greeting!

And then, to continue the magical fairy theme, Grace created a charming little village of fairy houses! She arranged our Mushroom House, Acorn House and our brand new Pumpkin House on a tall slimline card. The Mushroom Border and Little Picket Fence Border make another appearance on this card, creating a sweet little neighborhood!

Grace combined cardstock with ink-blending and Copic coloring to create lots of variety of color and texture!

I am so impressed with Grace’s use of the white gel pen highlights! All those fun fairy sparkles add to the magic of her cards!
