Lots of Heart Week {Day 2}

Hello friends! This week is going to be so much fun! We will be sharing Lawn Fawn Design Team inspiration based on the new Lawn Fawnatics challenge Lots of Heart! And of course, we will have a daily giveaway!

To see the Lawn Fawnatics Design Team inspiration and join the Lots of Heart challenge, click HERE! You could be the random winner or one of our Featured Fawnatics!

Today we have Kara to share another of her creative card designs! This time it’s all about dreaming your wildest dreams! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Kara‘s fanciful dream scene is so creative! I love how she used Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait and Just Stitching Double Rectangles to create the pretty quilt for the Joy to All girl! She combined an Outside In Stitched Thought Bubble with images from Toucan Do It and Screen Time for the dream!

Today we also have a special Guest Designer! Our friend Peter created fun bookmarks filled with stenciled hearts! He used Tiny Gift Box Skunk Add-On to make 4 cute critters, one for each bookmark!

For each bookmark, Peter stenciled with Lots of Hearts Stencils then he added a punny sentiment with a coordinating image! Peter created a video tutorial for his bookmarks, you can watch it HERE. We will have another project from Peter on Thursday!

Lynnette‘s clean and simple card features a shaker inside an Outside In Stitched Heart! She added a shadow to the Giant XOXO so it stands out!

Yainea created a super fun shaker card filled with lots of hearts! She used Offset Sayings: Birthday to spell out her sentiment and then she added the hugging Scent with Love skunks!

I hope you have been inspired to create a Valentine or Heart Day card for our Lots of Heart Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics!

  1. I just love the idea from Kara’s card!!! And the bookmarks are amazing! Can’t wait to get started on my Valentine’s projects!

  2. So much fun!! Thank you Lawn Fawn for making me smile everyday with your posts!! I share them with my crafty bestie everyday! Such a great mental health release💚💚💚

  3. The bookmarks are so fun! I don’t have critters like that but I do have the cupcake and ice cream sets. I bet they’d make adorable bookmarks!

  4. Wow. Love the variety of Valentines. The bookmarks seem novel—my hubs always gets one every time he buys a book. It’s part of the ritual. I wonder if he’d every use one I made…thank you, LF, for inspiring me to ask the right question today!

  5. That tiny box add on skunk is a cutie, I keep thinking it could become a badger to represent the Wizard’s House!

  6. I don’t always send actual Valentine’s Day cards, but these ideas from he designers could be used just to say, “I love you” on any day. Thank you for the chance to win!!

  7. Oh, Kara!!!!!!!! You’re AMAZING! I am not the best at masking. I’m so-so but I’m in awe of 2-, 3- and 4-layer masks. Wow! Your card is super-cute and very clever. I just love it. And you (personally) crack me up with all your tales and insights. The bit about the Sears catalogue made me laugh out loud. If I could send you a bunch of scalloped-edge sheets and knew whether to send Q or K or CK, I would. You deserve to have your dream from the Sears catalogue come true!

    Peter’s bookmarks and all the gorgeous cards above are also EXCEPTIONAL! Thanks, LF and crafters!
