It’s time for another cardmaking technique video by Kara! Today she shows us how to make 5 amazing cards from one watercolor galaxy! You can watch the video below of click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.
Thanks so much for watching, I hope it inspired you!
Kara created one large, galaxy universe on a sheet of watercolor paper. Then she divvied it up with very little waste to make this fantastic set of cards!
Our new set, Year Eleven, is the star of this mini slimline card! Kara also let the watercolor galaxy shine with just a bit of holographic cardstock to frame it! So simple and beautiful!
Another card featuring Year Eleven uses just a thin strip of the watercolor galaxy!
For this design, Kara made a frame for the smaller galaxy panel. Then she included the Super Star mouse and telescope! She even used up the last of the watercolor galaxy to cut out Henry’s ABCs to spell out planet!
This design features a combination of a star from Super Star and the bunny from Upon a Star. She silver-embossed the encouraging sentiment, also from Super Star.
For the last card, Kara used a galaxy panel as a backdrop for the cute images and sentiment from Beam Me Up! The silver-embossed greeting also includes Offset Sayings: Birthday.
Thank you for sharing your creativity with us today, Kara! I love these cards so much!

Have an amazing day!
What an out of this world adorable card Kara. The silver embossing powder adds such a delicate touch. 😊
This was very interesting and informative watching her create on watercolor paper the background. Then how she managed to get five cards from the background was also very creative. I loved all of them. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
I love these sets! What a great touch with the embossing.
Oh wow! These are just amazing! To get so much from one galaxy is very cool!
Oh my goodness – I love your galaxies! The card are awesome!
Beautiful night skies!
Wow, Kara! This was magnificent! Thank you SO, SO, SO much for showing how you made the “universe” and especially for narrating and telling how you almost chucked it. It ended up fantastic and I’m glad to see how you brought it around with the Black Soot. Your patience was richly rewarded! I love the cards and am so glad to have had this video. Thanks!!
