Happy First Saturday in May! The inspiration today is fun and whimsical as Megan shares an interactive space-themed birthday card! Enjoy!

Using cute images from Out of This World and Beam Me Up, Megan created an adorable card for her “favorite earthling”! And to make it even more fun she made it interactive with Pull ‘n Slide Surprise! She cut the panels from white cardstock, then she inked them with Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink.

Megan inked a Simple Stitched Hillside Border panel using Bubbles Stencil to look like the moon. Then she cut a circle from vellum to add the planets and space critter to the moving piece!

And there’s another cute space critter hiding under the slider bearing the gift of birthday cake!

Lawn Fawn Video {4.26.25} Jessica’s Out of This World Graduation Card with Pull ‘n Slide Surprise

Yay, we made it to Saturday! And today Jessica shares a clever Pull ‘n Slide Surprise graduation card! She shows us how to use a masking technique to add color to the interactive panels! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Jessica’s graduation card is so brilliant! She used masking to stamp, ink blend, then color her space-themed images directly on the Pull ‘n Slide Surprise panels. Then she stamped, colored and die-cut more images from Simply Celebrate Graduation, Simply Celebrate Hangouts, Out of This World and Beam Me Up to add more fun to the card!

She used a gold sparkle Giant You Did It as her greeting, adding it to the interactive panel to be revealed as the slider is pulled!

I love how Jessica used the cheesy hangout as a nod to the moon being made of cheese!

The masked rocket, stars and planets create a one-layer scene on all the panels that look so cool! And the astronaut and more planets pop up when the slider is pulled to create even more fun.

And as a final cute detail, Jessica carried the spacey theme to the inside!

Lawn Fawn Video {9.8.22} Mindy’s Out of this World Platform Pop-Up Card

This brilliant design features Out of This World and Beam Me Up! They are the perfect combination for this fun outer space design! For her Platform Pop-Up card, she included the new Platform Pop-Up Hillside Wrap Around and the Hillside Inserts.

In the video, Mindy shows how she inked up the Nighttime Sky Stencil on the Platform Pop-Up Add-On to create this colorful moon and sky! To fix a dilemma with the moon craters, she stenciled them with Fairy Dust Stencil Paste! Another problem solved with glitter!

And then the addition of the gold glitter stars is the perfect final detail that makes this design so special!
