A Smiley S’more Valentine Card with Mayra

Join us next week for Design Team inspiration with “Lots of Heart”! We will have sweet samples, and daily giveaways! See you then!

Happy Friday! Mayra joins us today to share a totally adorable Smiley S’more Valentine!

The adorable Smiley S’more is a sweet focal point of Mayra’s fun design! She created it with pretty pink that looks so good with the Paper Bag cardstock details. Mayra cut an Outside In Stitched Heart, then she used Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop to add a fun dotted texture. She layered this on a Lacy Heart, then she also layered a Heart Garland over the top.

For the background, Mayra cut a Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop from white cardstock. Then for another layer of interest, she used Simple Stripes Backdrop: Landscape. She cut it again with a Large Stitched Square Stackable to create a square card.

Mayra combined Henry’s ABCs with sentiments from S’more the Merrier and Scent with Love to add the sweet Valentine message! She heat-embossed the sentiments using white embossing powder on Paper Bag cardstock. And also, black embossing powder on vellum.

This is such a fun and creative Valentine! Thank you so much for inspiring us today, Mayra!

Lawn Fawn Video (1.12.23} Jessica’s Winter Mini Slimline

Jessica has some fun winter inspiration for you today! Her mini slimline card uses masking to create the sweet scene. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Jessica stamped Window Scene: Winter then colored the trees and “icy pond” with Copic markers. She stamped the scene another time on masking paper, cutting around the trees. Then she used the mask to cover the trees and ice while she inked the sky. She carefully removed the mask and added the cute Mice on Ice to the scene.

Jessica’s sweet card sends long distance love and hugs with a cute winter scene! The greeting combines Scripty Hugs with Long Distance Hugs with a message inside from Happy Hugs.

This card is so sweet, Jessica! Thank you so much for sharing with us today!

Grace’s Brilliant Platform Pop-Up Wedding Card

Grace is with us again today with an absolutely brilliant idea for a wedding card! Her Platform Pop-Up scene features the beavers from Wood You Be Mine with lots of fun wedding details!

Grace used Textured Canvas cardstock in brown and green to create the Platform Pop-Up. Then she decorated the platform with Lots of Hearts Stencils. She used Yeti ink for the stenciling, adding Unicorn Sparkle Embossing powder to some of the hearts. It creates lots of fun and sparkle! Then she white embossed the greeting from Big Scripty Words on Apricot cardstock. She used the coordinating dies to cut it out, and then popped it up on the vellum Simple Wavy Banner.

Grace decked out the beavers for the wedding using images from Bicycle Built for You. She found the cute little officiant in Critter Concert; he looks so cute standing on the wood stump.

To create the backdrop, Grace layered a Lacy Heart in Pixie Dust Sparkle with acetate. She used Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables to cut the acetate and to cut a window in the lacy heart. Then she decorated the heart with a heart banner from Scent with Love!

As the perfect finishing touch, Grace added tiny pearl beads to the bride’s headband and bouquet! So pretty!

Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous inspiration, Grace!
