Grace’s Embroidery Hoop Valentine Sewing Kit

Grace is back to share another brilliant crafty idea! She created Valentine sewing kits with Embroidery Hoop. They contain all the pieces to make two mini heart Valentines! So clever!

Grace’s creative project includes a cute circle shaped sewing kit pouch. She decorated it with a stitched heart from Embroidery Hoop and sweet images from Sew Very Mice. And she also used Stitched Scalloped Circle Frames and Fancy Scalloped Circle Stackables.

Creating the Pouch for the Sewing Kit

Here Grace provides step-by-step directions to create the custom pouch. She cut two Fancy Scalloped Circle Stackables for the front and back of the pouch. And she cut a rectangle to 1″ x 6 3/4″, scoring the long sides at 1/4″ and 3/4″. Then she cut little tabs using scissors along both sides, as in the picture.

She folded the small tabs in, so they face up, then she glued them to one of the circles following the curve. And then she glued the second circle, matching the scalloped detail of the first, photos 4 and 5.

Now you can decorate the outside as shown in the photos. So cute!

The kit contains two heart pattern templates to stitch, along with an assembled scalloped backer with foam tape already in place.

And then there’s the tiny Lacy Heart Stackable that Grace brilliantly used to hold the embroidery floss and needle. That is just so clever!

She filled the pouch with all the pieces needed to make sweet, stitched-heart mini-Valentines, including the floss and needle.

This photo shows the card components for two cards included in the kit. The recipient will stitch the heart then assemble the cards. Grace scored one of the Outside In Stitched Circle Stackables near the top to make the hinge for the mini card.

This kit is so clever, Grace and those little embroidered cards are absolutely adorable! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing inspiration!

Keep all of your Valentine memories in a sweet mini album keepsake! Melissa joins us today to share her adorable heart-shaped album!

To create the cover of her album, Melissa layered Giant Outlined Love Ya on a Lacy Heart Stackable. I love how she filled in the letters with Really Rainbow paper!

She used Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables in Chili Pepper, White and Ballet Slippers cardstock for the album pages. Then she added more Lacy Hearts and some scrapbook supplies from her stash to embellish the cute photos.

For the back page, Melissa used Just Stitching Hearts. Since this die only adds the stitching, she cut out the heart by hand. She stacked up her pages, punching a hole in each before using a book ring to hold them together.

This is such a cute way to collect favorite memories! Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Melissa!

“Love You with All My Art”: Art Supplies Valentines with Grace

Grace joins us today to share a beautiful set of Valentine cards featuring Art Supplies!

This card set is as beautiful as it is clever and creative! Grace used the fun Art Supplies Lawn Cuts set so brilliantly!

For this card Grace started with a Scalloped Rectangle panel. Then she used a heart from Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait as a stencil to add three pink hearts. She used the hearts to anchor the sweet art supplies groupings, then she added the Henry’s ABCs letters to spell out “art”. For the rest of the sentiment, she used Let’s Toast.

For the water jar, Grace colored the water line with Copic markers on the back side of the vellum jar piece. Then she used a thin line of glue to attach another jar piece cut from white cardstock colored the same way. The top is left open to slip the paint brush between the pieces.

For this design, Grace assembled the Art Supplies on a heart layered on a Lacy Heart. This time she used the sentiment from Let’s Toast, but she altered the word “tart” to say “art”. She used holographic cardstock for the paint tubes, adding the little hearts from Heart Shaker Gift Tag.

For the glitter jar Grace sandwiched Sparkle Glaze and Prisma glitter between the Copic colored cardstock jar and an acetate jar. She used a very fine line of glue tube around the perimeter to glue these pieces together.

Your cards are absolutely adorable, Grace! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!
