Renata’s Hot Foiled Year Thirteen Cards

Hello friends, Renata is back with another creative design to inspire you! Her Year Thirteen birthday cards have shiny hot foil backgrounds that look so special!

Renata’s hot foiled design is so charming with the little dim sum ready for a party! She gave them Party Animal hats, a cake from Elphie Selfie and a gift from Joy to All! Woodgrain Background Hot Foil Plate adds beautiful shiny gold to Paper Bag cardstock.

To personalize this punny birthday card Renata added a simple bow with Aquamarine cord. The cute little dumplings are sitting on a Stitched Teacup plate.

Renata added a pop of color to this design with a Salvaged Patina oxide inked panel showing through the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window. Then she added the gold embossed punny sentiment to finish this cute card!

Thank you so much, Renata! I love these fun birthday cards!

Lawn Fawn Video {4.22.23} Mona’s One Layer Watercolor Card

Happy Saturday! We have a beautiful card and video for you today! Mona has created another wonderful coloring tutorial. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mona used Arches Cold-pressed watercolor paper to stamp the images from Sew Very Mice, How You Bean and How You Bean Buttons Add-On in Jet Black ink. Then she used Lawn Fawn ink to create a watercolor wash in the background, and also to color in the images. Check out the supply list below for the specific colors she used.

When all the watercolor was dry, Mona added in details with a white gel pen and a white pencil. I love the effect of her coloring on the jar, making it look rounded and so much like shiny glass.

Thank you so much for this fantastic tutorial, Mona! Your card is so sweet!
