Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end to share lots of fun ways to use these new sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details! And leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!


Oh, my goodness, Tammy‘s card is so gorgeous! The colors she chose, and her beautiful coloring give her design a vintage look that is just so charming! The Winter Birds are so perfect paired with the Build-A-Birdhouse and the Build-A-Birdhouse Christmas Add-On!


Marine captured all the beauty of Fall with this amazing mostly die-cut design! I love how she combined so many fun sets that work so well together to highlight the Build-A-Birdhouse! She used all the fun element in Fall Leaves Backdrop and also Spring Flowers Backdrop for the pretty sunflowers. And then she brought in the little squirrel from Shadow Box Card Park Add-On to complement the little blackbirds.


Lynnette combined both of the Build-A-Birdhouse sets to make a holiday card that is so sweet! Her simple design includes Spiffier Speckles paper and So Joyful Line Border!


Caly‘s wintry Build-A-Birdhouse gets so much drama from her bold inky background and the traditional red and green holiday colors! I love this card so much that we recreated it for the Intro video, check it out below.


Latisha has perfected the pretty, clean and simple look with this lovely design! Her colors for the birdhouse are so whimsical and the Simply Winter Sentiments greeting is just right!


In spite of the blustery weather, Audrey‘s Winter Birds will be warm inside her cozy Build-A-Birdhouse! She created the frosty background with stenciled snowflakes together with die cut snowflakes. The pops of red are a great contrast and add so much festive fun!


Grace‘s amazing Scalloped Slimline card is so perfect for combining Build-A-Birdhouse and Winter Birds! The tall format provides plenty of room for the birdhouse along with some flying Winter Birds and some in the snow! Her pastel colors are so pretty and so unique for the holiday season!


Our Let’s Go Nuts critters appear to be up to their squirrelly antics, having taken over this birdhouse! Megan‘s card is so cute and the colorful Autumn leaves are just beautiful! I love how she added so much pretty texture to the birdhouse using Copic markers.


Elena‘s design combines so many interesting textures with woodgrain cardstock, splatters and the additional greenery and pinecones! Her card is so beautiful framed with Winter Wonderland Window, the woodgrain cardstock is an extra special touch.

  13. My dog jumped in & out of the car with no assistance and happily enjoyed a ride in the car with me! A first no “booty boost” required ride! 😁

  14. I sent some cards out this past week that I made with lawn fawn stamps. I received many compliments and that made me smile.

  16. We have a public holiday on Friday, and I have tomorrow off so my weekend has officially started 2 days early, which made me smile 🙂

  20. What made me smile today,?is the fact that today is my Friday, yeah, and it’s my crop and create weekend, with 3 crafty friends

  34. My smile every day of the year are my kids. Yesterday was extra special when my teenager and I spent the evening crafting together- I love when she rearranges a card I am working on and it looks better than I had it. Love to see her creative mind at work.

  35. My hubby and I celebrated our 40th anniversary this week. I made an adorable card featuring the Happy Harvest scarecrow and his new friend. That made me smile!

  41. So I sprained my ankle…which did not make me smile…but getting out of some fall yard work and crafting instead? Yes, please!!

  44. Making pumpkin cheesecake swirl bars and sharing some with the baristas at Starbucks (took them some wrapped up to enjoy on their break), my daughter (who just returned from a trip to Vienna, Austria) & a neighbor (they enjoyed the dessert treats) all made me smile.

  56. What made me smile this week was watching squirrels and chipmunks outside of my dad’s window in hospice care. I’ve been leaving peanuts and sunflower seeds on the window ledge so they come right up to the window and munch away.

  197. The thing that made me smile was all the students who took the time to say thank you after they checked out a book in our media center. It is so nice to hear that the younger generation still have a sense of gratitude and thanksgiving.

  209. Last month I received my Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaf die. I also purchased some beautiful glitter paper locally. They make the most beautiful cards. I love that die.

  216. Busy day so I missed the deadline, but I just wanted to say that I smiled today just looking at some cards that I recently made.

    I always get to smile a second time too while I am watching on my iPad and my husband says, “Is that Kelly?”

  220. My granddaughters joy at receiving her unicorn platform pop up card. I’ve loved the inspiration week too and its bought me a lot of pleasure the birds and add-ons are so darn cute!

  224. I haven’t been able to keep the smile off my face all week as I am visiting my old city of Hong Kong … I left here almost two years ago and this is the first time I’ve been back.
