Franci created a simply adorable card featuring Garden Snail and Heart Garden Stencil! She added a fun surprise to let you take this little snail off the card!
Franci’s simple design starts with Heart Garden Stencil and some pretty Distress ink colors! She used Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, Rustic Wilderness, Tumbled Glass and Spiced Marmalade. In addition to stenciling the card, she also stenciled a matching envelope!
She paper-pieced the Garden Snail, adding rosy cheeks and a little heart. She used cardstock in Paper Bag, Guava, Vanilla Malt and Black Licorice. Then she cut a slit in the stenciled card front and attached it to a Scalloped Rectangle with foam tape.
Next, Franci glued a mini clothespin to the back of her snail and popped it into the slit on the card! Surprise! Now the Garden Snail can hold your place in a book or click together important papers. Maybe clip it on the ribbon a gift package to hold the card or tag. What ideas do you have for using Franci’s clip-able Garden Snail! Let us know in the comments below.

Such a cute surprise and the stencilling on the envelope is so neat. 🐌
Super cute cards. And love the clip! You could use that idea on lots of other things too!
How ingenious! Love it!
This is darling.
What a fun idea!
Soooo Cute! and what a F U N Surprise!!!
I’m an avid reader so making my bookmarks out of critters…Great Idea, thanks!
Adding a small magnet on the clip to store it would be fun. How about a clip with other characters used for holding food bags closed or clipped on flower pots.
Oh wow this is so so cute!!
Adorable! I could see this for a bookmark, as suggested, or to hold closed a half–eaten bag of Haribo Gold Bears.
