Introducing!

Today is our showcase of Peppy Penguin and Giant Feliz Navidad! Add a pep to your projects with the help of this festive penguin! Paper piece your penguin and lights with patterned papers or solid color cardstock for a custom look every time.

Send someone lots of Feliz Navidad wishes in a (really) big way! This giant sentiment fits a standard sized card for quick cards with lots of pizazz!

Design Team Inspiration

Latisha‘s brilliant design features Giant Feliz Navidad with Candy Cane Lane paper and a Cross-Stitched Circle!


On the inside of her card, Latisha used Swivel Surprise with an adorable Peppy Penguin!


Audrey created a stunning background for her lovely holiday card using Simple Stripes: Portrait. She added special details by cutting Giant Feliz Navidad from gold metallic cardstock, adding more gold with paint splatters and sequins. For some festive flair she also used holly and berries from Cute Candy Canes!


The Cute Candy Canes are a perfect addition for the pair of Peppy Penguins! The penguins are holding the candy canes in the shape of a heart on Elena‘s charming design! I love the blue and red colors with the black and white penguins, it is so eye-catching!


Mindy‘s design is so festive and colorful with a Confetti Stenciled background! She added cuteness to the Giant Feliz Navidad greeting using the Year Seven piñata and the cactus from Year Ten!


Peppy Penguin is the star of Elise‘s charming square shaped card! She paired the penguin with Candy Cane Lane paper and a sentiment from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Winter.


Melissa‘s Giant Feliz Navidad card is so special with festive gold-foiled Candy Cane Lane paper and a pretty oval shaped window!


Marine‘s amazing Peppy Penguin card sends merry wishes from a snowy Build-A-Snow Globe! She decorated this festive and fun card with Cute Candy Canes and Mini String of Lights. Her greeting pairs Scripty Merry, Scripty Merry Outline Add-On and Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Winter!


Grace‘s Giant Feliz Navidad design takes the holidays in fun new direction! She paired the giant greeting with cactus from Plant-A-Succulent and String of Lights Backdrop! The muted color palette is so cool too!


Mindy placed the cute Peppy Penguin in a frosty winter scene complete an icy Stitched Pond! Scripty Merry and Scripty Merry Outline Add-On look so perfect against the pond!


I love Latisha‘s gorgeous, stenciled poinsettia background! It looks so lovely with the red Giant Feliz Navidad!


Yainea combined our featured sets with adorable results! She created a pretty background by layering Candy Cane Lane petite papers and Rainbow Ever After petite papers. I love that she used a Stitched Rounded Rectangle to layer behind the cute penguin and greeting!


Rebecca and I collaborated on a couple of holiday cards featuring Peppy Penguin and Giant Feliz Navidad with beautiful results! Peppy Penguin is perfect framed by Snow Flurries Backdrop with a colorful greeting from Offset Sayings: Christmas!


Here we created a striped background with Simple Stripes: Diagonal in cheery red and white! Then we surrounded Giant Feliz Navidad with holly and berries from Cute Candy Canes and some dancing mice from Cheesy Christmas, all layered on a panel of vellum!

  2. Some old girlfriends visited today and we had a lovely lunch out then wondered around my city’s botanical gardens and the sun shone too.

  12. I am leaving this post at 6:30am so the day is just beginning. What made YESTERDAY special though was a genuine smile from my teenage son. That was pretty special <3

  15. What’s special about today is we’re in Omaha visiting our son, and our daughter is coming in today and we’re going to the zoo!

  20. My husband and I visited the local Amish community with his two sisters. Afterwards, all of us went to his Mom’s home to continue our visiting.

  21. I’m seeing the sun coming up. Today is going to be a lovely sunny day. Sundays and spending time with my family always makes the day special.

  23. It’s the weekend, my home team won their game last night, getting ready for my dream vacation…everything is great!

  25. The peppy penguins are so adorable and liked the design team creations. Today is special because I get to watch my beloved Buffalo Bills on tv in Patriot country. Patriots are playing oversees today.

  38. Well, I am a big Minnesota Vikings fan, and today is the first day all season the game will be on TV where I live. So, I am decked out and ready to watch!

  76. I have an auntie that adores penguins, so seeing all of the Peppy Penguins makes me think of her, and That makes me happy. She’s (to many) an aunt of choice. Always kind and considerate, fun and vivacious. “Penguins” were what she and her high school friends called themselves when they were young. Most are no longer with us, but auntie keeps their memory alive. To me, she will always be a cheery penguin.

  80. I’m getting my daughter’s birthday card made today. She’ll be 31 and I have to get it in the mail soon. I love making birthday cards!

    Today has been pretty low-key without anything that stands out yet, but yesterday was special because my daughter and son-in-law came over to spend time with us.

  121. My husband and son are doing a guys’ trip this weekend, so I have the house to myself! Well, except for my dog Lucy…so we’re having a girls’ weekend of napping (that’s mostly her), reading and crafting (that’s all me). 🙂

  125. Twas a special day in Wisconsin, Packers had a win and it was a gorgeous 75 degree day with lots of colorful trees.

    Today was special because our son was able to join us for a postponed birthday celebration. Time with family is always special.

  141. Today was special because our family got together to celebrate my daughter’s 2nd birthday that’s coming up this week! Nothing beats the joy of seeing children being showered with love

  145. Today my dahlias, sunflowers, roses and daisies pushed out more blooms for me to give away in bouquets to neighbors, family, friends and anyone who looked like they needed a smile!

  146. Today was special because I got to start practicing the songs for Christmas that will be sung by our church choir.

  149. Today is special because it’s my birthday! Plus 2 days ago was my 38th wedding anniversary so it’s been a special weekend <3

  157. Today was a special day as I helped my youngest daughter move into her new apartment. Seeing how she will decorate her new home and make it her own special place made my heart feel full!

  170. My colleagues gave me the most beautiful Tulips today as I celebrated by birthday last week. They made me feel super special!

  173. Getting to snuggle with my dogs. We sent one across the Rainbow Bridge last week, so I’m savoring the time with our other ones.

  181. I just got a new car because my other one was totaled due to some guy hitting me. I made my car dealer a Thank you card using Car critters. It was a lot of fun to make, using my new car color cor the critters car.

  183. My friends and I had a trip to Hawaii for our 60th birthday and we had a fabulous massage at the beach and sent a thank you card to our massage therapists when we got back home

  184. I received new photos and videos of our grandkids. The family is stationed in South Korea so we don’t get to see them in person often.

  186. Playing and crafting with my 6 year old granddaughter has been very special today! She is a lawn Fawn fan too!

  190. Oh my goodness! And I sure mean goodness! These samples are amazing. I am having the urge to buy it all. I so wish I had unlimited income. So many adorable and beautiful things. ❤️😃

  192. Well, today (October 21st) is special because it’s my birthday! I’m officially a 36 year old midget. This is significant because I’ve been calling myself a 36 year old midget since high school (I’m not 5 ft tall).

  198. I completed first part of Christmas cards bundles. That is very good feeling and it makes a special day to me 🙂

  204. My daughter has this thing about drawing on butternut squashes I buy and turning them into babies. Think it may have started with a book she read when she was little. Yesterday a baby squash with picket sign showed up in the kitchen window along with a ballot box. The sign reads, “vote for squash babies not to be eaten.”

  207. My husband and I were in Joshua Tree last night and took some star pictures. When processing a few pictures, my husband saw that a few of the pictures had the Tsuchinshan comet in them. 🙂

  216. Today was special because my puppy was extremely well behaved! He’s just nearing 6 months old so…it’s kinda a big deal at home! 😉😄

  220. Sunday I was able to watch football, and finish decorating for Halloween before my son, daughter-in-law and grandkids came over.

  232. One of my travel agent clients said she would have the tea I love for me when we meet! That is the sweetest thing!

  238. I celebrated w/ my hubby, sister, father and mother today – Mom’s 79th b-day!!! It was great to be together.
