Tammy‘s citrusy birthday card features the cute Capybaras! with Build-A-Cake. She decorated the cake with orange slices from Build-A-Drink and placed it on a silver metallic cake stand from the Build-A-Cake Add-On set. Then she filled the background of the slimline design with Fruit Salad patterned paper.

Grace‘s beautiful birthday cake is so pretty with lots of sweet color and pattern! She combined papers from Bitsy Blooms, Rainbow Ever After and the new Gleeful Gradients. Then she added strawberries from Build-A-Cake Add-On and tiny flowers from Spring Sprig. And of course, she included cute little mice from Bubbles of Joy and You Autumn Know.

Lynnette created her cake with papers from Pint-Sized Patterns Summertime and shimmery purple cardstock. There’s also extra sweetness from the strawberries and cream. She combined Scripty Birthday, Scripty Birthday Outline Add-On, Happy Happy Happy and Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Birthday for her greeting!

I love Latisha‘s rainbow layer cake! She used a rainbow of cardstock and the layer dies included in Build-A-Cake. It looks like all the colorful layers are separated by yummy buttercream frosting! For the background, she layered Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait on a panel of Guava cardstock. Then she used a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame as a pretty border!

Elise chose Textured Canvas cardstock in pink and cream to create her lovely confection! Then she added birthday candles and a birthday greeting and layered it all on a Gleeful Gradients Outside In Stitched Rectangle panel. So sweet!

The cute mice of Berry Special and Dandy Day know that strawberries and chocolate are a winning combination! Audrey used Stripes ‘n Sprinkles pink paper with the chocolate drip icing from Build-A-Cake Add-On to make a cake that looks so delicious! No baking skills needed!

Elena also used the drip icing on her unfrosted cake layers. Her strawberries look good enough to eat along with the dollops of whipped cream! I love how she added “let’s eat cake” from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Birthday on the cake topper banner! So beautiful!

Build-A-Cake with Build-A-Cake Add-On are perfect for adding to an interactive Pull ‘n Slide Surprise card! The birthday message from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Birthday stays hidden under the cake until you pull the slider!

Sprinkles Border isn’t just for cakes and birthdays! It’s a fun addition to any card, adding a touch of whimsy! Here it’s so adorable with our new Summer Friends set!

  59. I absolutely love the chocolate cake from Costco. It has layers of chocolate cake with chocolate mousse in between the layers. Pure chocolate heaven!

  60. My favourite cake is Martha Stewart’s Triple Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache. It takes me six hours to make, but it’s wonderful!

  61. My favorite cake is from Maxie B’s in Greensboro, NC and is Strawberry Buttercream Cake. It’s amazing.

  63. Chocolate cake is good but seriously isn’t it just the vessel for an amazing buttercream icing – or is that just me 😉

  64. Oh goodness!! This new cake die set is to die for!!! Of course I’ll be making my favorite cake cards with them, make it chocolate!! Yum! 😋🎂🍫

  65. My favorite cake is actually white cake. I saw Chari’s comment that her mom used to make cakes…mine did too! My mom made wedding cakes (and birthday cakes, and anniversary cakes, retirement cakes, baby shower cakes) when I was growing up and a lot of them were white cake. The smell (and taste!) of white cake baking is nostalgic and comforting.
