Lawn Fawn Video {4.30.24} Marine’s Kanga-rrific Slimline Card with Give It a Whirl

Marine is back with another amazing slimline card using Give It a Whirl! This time she limited herself to just two stamp sets, Kanga-rrific and Kanga-rrific Add-On! Even so, her card is still filled with lots of fun and great details! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video!

I love how Marine always integrates the background of the card into the Give It a Whirl scene so seamlessly! She used Slimline Grassy Stencil, Slimline Hillside Stencils and Mountain Stencil with Distress Oxide inks to create this amazing backdrop!

For the front piece of the Give It a Whirl, Marine stamped and masked the cute Kang-rrific scene first before adding the stenciled background. To create the mask, she used the coordinating Kanga-rrific dies to cut out full-stick Post-it notes. This leaves the white border on the one-layer design, so it looks like the images on the rest of the card! Then she stamped and white embossed the first part of the Kanga-rrific sentiment.

Marine stenciled the inside Give It a Whirl circle in the same way as the front circle, this time adding the die cut images using Glue Tube, so they are flat in the scene. She also finished the white embossed greeting here!

Oh, my goodness, this card is so amazing! Thank you for sharing it with us, Marine!

A Baby Card That’s a Real Cutie with Ivy

Ivy is with us today to share a really cute baby card! She featured little tangerines, known as “cuties” and a custom, punny sentiment to send a happy welcome for a new baby!

I love this cheery color combination of orange and green, it’s so fresh and citrusy! Ivy used Cilantro cardstock for the base, adding detail with Just Stitching Double Rectangles. Then she layered another panel, this one a Fruit Salad gingham cut with an Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle.

Next, she made the cuties using dies from Zesty Lemon and Build-A-Drink with pretty Tropical Shimmer cardstock. And then she added the citrus flowers in Raspberry, Cilantro, Sticky Note and white cardstock.

She stamped part of the greeting with Smitty’s ABCs, then she finished it with Finley’s ABCs in more Raspberry cardstock.

Thanks so much for sharing this charming baby card, Ivy!

A Lovely Build-A-Greenhouse Card with Joyce

Joyce has lovely Build-A-Greenhouse inspiration to share with you! Her design is so perfectly simple with lots of beautiful color!

Joyce started with a simple background of What’s Sewing On paper, stamping a sentiment from Garden Before ‘n Afters at the top. Then she die-cut the greenhouse from Narwhal cardstock, and all the plants included in Build-A-Greenhouse from white cardstock.

Joyce colored all the pieces with Copic markers in bright, happy colors. And then she attached two potted plants directly to the back of the greenhouse before backing it with vellum. Then she continued to arrange this pretty garden scene!

Your card is so pretty, Joyce! Thank you for sharing with us!
