First Saturday with Megan {7.6.24} Megan’s Clever Christmas Themed Build-A-Gumball Card

Megan is back with another creative card design to inspire you! She gets started on her Christmas cards with a fun take on Build-A-Gumball Machine!

Megan filled the gumball machine with frosty snowballs to the delight of her Build-A-Snowman character! For the background she began by inking with Distress Oxide ink in Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire. Then she added a Forest Border layered with a Stitched Hillside Border. And then she white embossed the Merry Messages greeting on the background!

The snowman has a colorful scarf, and mittens and is so happy he found all those snowballs!

I love this whimsical and unique take on the Build-A-Gumball Machine set! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us, Megan!

Mayra’s Frosty Fairy Friends Card & Fairy Treat Boxes and Gift Card Holder!

Wow! We sold out of all the grab bags! On behalf of Erica and Mike, I want to thank you for generously helping us to support METAvivor on Giving Tuesday! We appreciate you all so much!

Mayra is back with another cute and clever project that I’m sure will delight and inspire you!

Mayra created the cutest die-cut fairies that are inspired by our Frosty Fairy Friends! She added the sweet fairy faces to the Tiny Gift Box, and she also created a Stitched Gift Card Pocket!

The Frosty Fairy Friends star in Mayra’s charming holiday card! She set the scene with Spooky Forest Backdrop and Stitched Hillside Borders. Then she layered the scene with a Stitched Snowflake Backdrop, Scalloped Rectangle and framed it with the window from Ta-Da! Diorama! So clever!

Here’s a list of the items Mayra used to create these adorable fairy treat boxes: Tiny Gift Box, Tiny Gift Box Bee Add-On (fairy wings), Stitched Cupcake (eyes, cheeks, mouth), Tiny Gift Box Elephant Add-On (bow, and inner ear pieces for the hair on some of the ‘fairies’), Build-A-Snowman (scarf), Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On (Ear muffs, ear muff piece for bun), Heart Treat Box (small tag for each tiny gift box), Stitched Labels (oval shape to create hair for fairy), Mini Easter Eggs (small oval for smaller wings), Large Stitched Square Stackables (face for gift card pocket fairy)

Thank you so much, Mayra! Your adorable card, treat boxes and gift card pocket are so creative and totally inspiring!

We Wish You a Very Fawny Holiday Week 2023 {Day 4}

Hello friends! Welcome to another special Fawny Holiday Week! We will be sharing inspiring holiday projects by our amazing Fawny family of designers along with videos and daily giveaways! Comment below for a chance to win a stamp set with coordinating dies and a 6×6 paper pad of your choice!

Mindy is with us today to share a festive traditional holiday card featuring Magic Iris Holly Wreath Add-On! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

The cute little mice of Christmas Before ‘n Afters look so sweet framed by the Magic Iris Holly Wreath Add-On! Mindy created a fun and festive traditional holiday design with lots of green and pops of red!

Melissa combined the snow globe from Little Snow Globe: Dog with messages from Little Snow Globe Add-On to make this beautiful grid design! I love the unexpected colors and pretty background with all the splatters! The sentiment is from Little Snow Globe: Bear.

Grace‘s clever Platform Pop-Up is a fun way to count down the days until Christmas! Yay! She used Shiver 12 x 12 paper from the Let it Shine Snowflakes collection to create the base of the platform. And she also used Let it Shine Red Sprinkle ‘n Shine paper for the scalloped circle frame and sentiment banner. Grace created an Outside In Stitched Circle in Black Licorice cardstock which she covered with another circle of acetate to write on with a white chalk marker. She stamped “days until” in Milo’s ABCs to white emboss and pair with “Christmas” from Scribbled Sentiments: Winter.

Once the base of the card was assembled, Grace got to work decorating it with lots of sweet holiday die cut images! To make the gingerbread house, she cut the top of a Build-A-House in kraft cardstock. Then she added the details from Build-A-House Gingerbread Add-On. And to keep the gingerbread theme going, she also included one of the cute Gingerbread Friends!

And then Grace added fun little details! The peppermint candies are from How You Bean Mint Add-On, the candy canes and gumdrops are in the Build-A-House Gingerbread Add-On set and the cute little snow globe is from Reveal Wheel Little Snow Globe: Dog Add-On.

And then the final decorative detail is the Holly Leaves Border! This is so amazing, Grace!

Chari created a very special set of Build-A-Snowman tags to inspire you! She cut the tags from Favorite Flannel papers adding holographic Mini Snowflakes! Then she assembled the snow men with Texture Dot red scarves! So cute!

I love how she stenciled Winter Sprigs on the snowmen! It adds so much interest to her clever design!

Caly must have been thinking of holiday baking when she designed this charming card! She combine Baked with Love with A Creature Was Stirring to create an adorable Scalloped Slimline scene!

Catherine created an amazing holiday light up decoration featuring Build-A-Birdhouse! She made the birdhouses 3D by sandwiching a width of cardstock between two of the birdhouse die cuts. She also used Build-A-Birdhouse Christmas Add-On and another bird from Build-A-Snowman.

Catherine used Quinn’s ABCs Lawn Cuts to spell out “peace” and then she added cotton “snow” on the rooftops. She strung the birdhouses together with craft string lights!

The final result is so beautiful! I can picture this amazing decoration on a fireplace mantel!
