Lawn Fawn Video {8.19.21} Caly’s Cute Gnome Thank You Card

Hello Friends! Caly joins us today to share an adorable mostly die cut thank you card! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Caly wanted to create a sweet die cut card, so she combined our new paper-piecing die sets Garden Gnome and Delightful Daisy! She cut the pieces from cardstock, then she inked the edges for dimension.

Caly constructed a sweet and simple background before arranging her paper-pieced images in the scene!

This card design is so adorable Caly! I love it so much! Thanks for sharing with us today!

Delightful Daisy Inspiration with Grace

We have extended the Summer Sale through midnight on August 5 (Pacific Time), woohoo! Use code Summer21 to get 15% off your order! Click HERE to shop!

Today we are shining a spotlight on Delightful Daisy! Grace joins us today to share 3 amazing cards that are sure to inspire you!

Grace’s creativity is on display with this lovely trio of Delightful Daisy cards!

Fancy Lattice Backdrop/How You Bean? Shaker Card

Delightful Daisy is a perfect match for our How You Bean? mason jar! Here, Grace created a shaker card using the How You Bean? Shaker Add-On and pretty vellum!

For the daisies, Grace used a combination of Shimmer Pastel cardstock and Pixie Dust Sparkle! She added color to the Pixie Dust petals using Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink. To these petal pieces, Grace added a layer of clear embossing powder for a glossy finish! As an added detail, Grace die cut extra daisy stems to add inside the mason jar; this makes the flower stems appear longer!

To create the pretty cardbase, Grace started with a panel of Perfectly Plaid Remix Nadia12x12 paper. Then she layered the Fancy Lattice Backdrop and a Stitched Rectangle Frame!

Quilted Backdrop Shaker Card

For her second gorgeous card, Grace create another clever shaker element! After she cut the Quilted Backdrop from Mermaid cardstock, she cut the base of the daisy 3 times in the backdrop. She backed these openings with acetate and then she layered on the daisy outline and flower center, leaving the petals and stems clear.

The cute little bee from Meadow Backdrop: Portrait makes a sweet accent! Grace finished this delightful design with a greeting that combines Oliver’s Stitched ABCs with “sunshine” from All the Clouds. I love how she white embossed the word on vellum and gave it a unique torn edge.

Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up Get Well Card

Grace created a special get well design that is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face! She brought back the daisies and bees to fill a sweet Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up! She used acetate to attach the bees so they look like they are buzzing around the flowers!

To add this sweet greeting, Grace combined Get Well Soon Border with Oliver’s Stitched ABCs in rainbow colors of cardstock!

I love these beautiful cards, Grace! And the wonderful ways you used Delightful Daisy! Thank you!
