Lawn Fawn Video {8.25.21} A Happy Autumn Scene with Jessica

It’s getting to be that time again when we are looking forward to the crisp days of Autumn! Jessica captures that feeling with a fun critter-filled Autumn scene! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

The critters from Jump for Joy, Let’s Go Nuts and Happy Harvest play so well together in Jessica’s adorable scene! She created an inky background before building the scene with Leafy Tree Backdrop, Stitched Tree Borders and a Stitched Hillside Border.

Before die cutting with the coordinating dies, Jessica used these Copic markers to bring her images to life!

  • Pumpkins and leaves:
    • Y32 Y35, Y38
    • YR18, YR68, YR16
    • E18, E09, YR18
  • Crows: T7, T5, T8, Y35, Y38
  • Squirrels: W0, W4, W2, W1
  • Fox: E97, E19, E08, E99

I love how Jessica used different textures with layers of glittery Autumn Sparkle cardstock and Into the Woods Remix; it adds so much fun and interest!

Design Team Favorites Week {Day 3}

Welcome to this special Design Team Favorites week! We are excited to share the favorite stamps, dies and papers of our Lawn Fawn Design Team this week! They have created amazing inspiration using their favorites! We will have daily giveaways all week; so be sure to comment on each post August 9 – 13 to enter for a chance to win! We are giving away a stamp set with coordinating die of your choice along with a 6×6 paper pack!

Megan‘s awesome, detailed scenes are pretty famous around here! She loves to use our Stitched Stackables die sets to give them a finished look! For this colorful card, she created the Toucan Do It scene on a Stitched Square Stackable. She layered this over a cool, inky wood-look panel made with Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop and Simple Stripes: Portrait!

This unique card design allows room above the critter-filled scene to add a fun sentiment! Megan combined Finley’s ABCs with a phrase from Crazy Antics!

Jenn‘s favorite set, Happy Harvest, is popular for Autumn cards and projects! She gave it a summery spin by taking our cute scarecrow to the beach! Her adorable scene came together using Picket Fence Border, Puffy Cloud Borders, Meadow Borders and Ocean Wave Borders! And of course, she included beachy accessories from On the Beach!

Oh Snap and Tiny Gingerbread go perfectly with Tammy‘s favorite set, Thanks a Latte! She filled the length of her slimline design with the cute coffee and cocoa mugs along with shiny candy canes!

I love the pretty pink and teal color combination on this adorable holiday card! Tammy layered large and small slimline dies for the background; she inked one in pink and cut the other from Let it Shine Teal Sprinkle!

Yainea‘s favorite set Happy Hugs, is front and center on her sweet birthday card! These cute hugging critters needed beautiful surroundings so she built the scene using Stitched Mountain Borders and Simple Grassy Borders.

To turn this design into a birthday card, Yainea included a sentiment from Chit Chat and some birthday images from Elphie Selfie! The starry sky is courtesy of Upon a Star!

Be sure to join us tomorrow for more Design Team inspiration! But for now, it’s giveaway time!

Lawn Fawn Video {10.22.20} Chari’s Spooky Castle

Chari shares our video today with fun Halloween inspiration! She created a spooky castle featuring Build-A-Castle! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Chari created her slimline Halloween design with an amazing inked and stenciled background! She used Distress Oxide ink in Wild Honey, Crackling Campfire and Seedless Preserves to blend the spooky sky, then she used regular Distress Ink to add the cloudy stenciling.

She gave the Build-A-Castle a super cool look with the Brick Stencil and some black glitter gel! Another fun component is the Glow-in-the-Dark embossing on the moon!

Chari combined images from Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add-On, Build-A-House Halloween Add-On to add spooky elements to the castle. She used sentiment from Pick of the Patch, pumpkins from Happy Harvest and tombstones from Spooktacular.

Thank you so much, Chari! This spooky Halloween inspiration is so much fun!
