Thank you so much for watching! Time to start stitching!

Chari created this super brilliant, stitched beach ball card in both a beach and a pool version! And each is perfect for lots of summer occasions! She stitched up the Make a Splash pattern with Embroidery Hoop, then she used Embroidery Hoop Window and Frame Add-On to incorporate the colorful beach ball into the card designs! To make the super cool background, she cut white woodgrain cardstock with Simple Stripes: Portrait then added some shading with Lost Shadow Distress ink. Next, she stenciled some water splashes using Paint Splatter Background Stencil!

To create the beach scene, Chari used a Stitched Hillside Border for the sand before adding How You Bean? Seashell Add-On shells!

And for this fun water design, Chari used Stitched Simple Wavy Borders and lots of Chunky Glitter!

Lawn Fawn Video {7.6.23} Chari’s Beach Style Card with How You Bean? Seashell Add-On

Save the Date! Our next Create with Us Live is on July 12th! We can’t wait to talk all things crafty while making cards with new Summer 2023 sets! Make plans to join Kelly Marie and Jenn, it will be so much fun! You will find all the details to craft along with us, HERE.

Chari joins us today to share a beautifully punny beach-themed card! She will show us another clever coloring technique using How You Bean Seashell Add-On! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Chari created the sandy boardwalk look using Simple Stripes: Portrait and white woodgrain cardstock. She added light gray inking to “weather” the wood and add shading. Then she added sandy texture with metallic watercolor splatters before she assembled the panels on her card front.

And then she white embossed the How You Bean Seashell Add-On images on mermaid cardstock. She inked the shells before adding pencil details and stickles for sparkle!

Finally, she added the punny sentiment from How You Bean Seashell Add-On, using Henry’s ABCs to spell out the pun!

This is such a beautiful card, Chari! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!

Lawn Fawn Video {5.9.23} Kara Cute as a Button Card with an Altered Image

(For a little sneak peek, check out this video!)

Kara has another creative design to inspire us today! This time she shows us how to alter an Easter image to use any day all year! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

I think Kara’s card design is cute as a button! And I love the pretty colors she chose too! She started her design with Simple Stripes: Portrait cut from Ballet Slippers, Guava and Sticky Note cardstock.

Then she stamped the single button from How You Bean Buttons Add-On several times with Jet Black ink. And then she added coordinating colors of ink using the solid button stamp.

Kara also added great detail to her sentiment by adding shading to the white embossed letters with Copic markers.

Kara altered the Eggstraordinary Easter image (see photo below) by cutting the bunnies away from the Easter egg. So now they can carry the How You Bean mason jar filled with buttons.

Check your stash for images of critters holding something to see if you can alter it to have them hold something else! Just one more way to get more out of your sets!

Thanks so much for sharing another brilliant card design, Kara!
