Ivy’s Lunar New Year Card and Gift Envelope

We hope you will join us tomorrow for another Lots of Heart Week! We will have sweet samples from the Design Team, and daily giveaways! See you then!

Today we have a fun treat for you! Ivy created a card and gift envelope to celebrate Lunar New Year!

Ivy explains the meaning behind the things she used to create her card and envelope set. “Oranges are a typical symbol of good luck, red and gold colors are considered lucky and prosperous, the red envelope contains “lucky money” that is usually given to kids.” And of course, she added the cute bunnies from Simply Celebrate Critters because this is the year of the rabbit!

For the card, Ivy filled the Fruit Basket with oranges using Zesty Lemon. She added a couple of the cute bunnies along with some pretty citrus flowers and leaves. She stamped the greeting on the label from Small Stitched Envelope with a Merry Messages sentiment. Then she added “lunar new year” in Claire’s ABCs and small sprigs from Giant Thank You Messages in shiny gold embossing!

To create the envelope, Ivy began with a Small Stitched Envelope, adding Henry’s 123s on the flap. Then she created another label this time including the row of bunnies from Simply Celebrate Critters.

Thank you so much for sharing this super cute project with us, Ivy!

Lawn Fawn Video {9.29.22} Kara’s Apple Barrel Card Inspired by a Song

Kara joins us today with another charming card design to inspire us! She created with Build-A-Barrel: Apple and a musical theme. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

All of the amazing color on Build-A-Barrel: Apple and Henry’s ABCs starts with Textured Canvas cardstock! Kara added shading and highlight with Distress Ink and Copic Markers, finishing with some white gel pen shine!

The adorable mice are from Apple-solutely Awesome, You Autumn Know and Berry Special. Kara used Copic markers to give each one a cute personality! She found the first part of her sentiment in the Speech Bubbles Lawn Cuts set. It looks so cute on the Berry Special sign that she colored to look like wood.

I love how she finished the sentiment, based on the old song “A Bushel and a Peck” on the inside of the card! Kara added a fun surprise as well by adding the extra apples, so clever!

I love this beautiful card, Kara! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!

Platform Pop-Up Graduation Cards with Grace

Woohoo! Summer is almost here and so is our Summer 2022 Release! Inspiration & Release Week starts Wednesday May 11 with the Big Giveaway followed by a week of Intro Videos, Design Team samples and daily giveaways! We can’t wait to share all the fun new stamps, dies, papers and more!

It’s that time again! Graduation time that is! Grace is back with perfect inspiration for all the 2022 graduates in your life!

Grace built the Platform Pop-Up base with papers from Flower Market. Then for one card she used the grassy die included in the Platform Pop-Up. For the other card, she added clouds from Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-On. The cute kids are found in Bicycle Built for You!

The diploma and hat are from Smart Cookie and that great graduation greeting is from Magic Spring Messages. Grace added the year with Henry’s 123s to an acetate circle using Holographic cardstock. Then she used more acetate to add the cute graduate and lots of stars!

Grace personalized this card with a bouquet from Scent with Love Add-On. Then she used pretty pink Spring Sparkle cardstock for Henry’s 123s!

Thank you so much for this wonderful inspiration, Grace!
