Make sure to save the date for our next Create with Us LIVE mini class! Join Jenn and I as we create with Cheesy Christmas and chat about all things cardmaking! The fun starts at 4PM Pacific Time on Friday, November 8th. We can’t wait!

Mindy is here with a clever Halloween design featuring Book Collection! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mindy used Book Collection to create a spooky Halloween scene! She cut the book dies from colored cardstock, then added shadows and shading with coordinate inks. Then she blended on a little Walnut ink to make them look old and worn.

For the background she started by stenciling a brick wall, adding a layer of Sweet Spiders webs to add to the eerie look. Then she added potion bottles from Purrfectly Wicked and a crow from Happy Harvest. She used the cute Fangtastic Friends Add-On bats and banner to add a greeting from Costume Party to finish her design!

Mindy used Olo alcohol markers to color all the images. Here she shows the color combinations.

Thank you so much for this fun Halloween inspiration, Mindy! I love how you made the books look spooky!

Joyce’s Fun Sweet Spiders Card with Fortune Teller Tabby

Joyce combined some fun Halloween sets with Sweet Spiders to create a special card!

To begin her design, Joyce used Spiderweb Background Stencils with Distress Oxide ink in Villainous Potion and Black Soot to make a cool backdrop for the Fortune Teller Tabby. Then she added Sweet Spiders, Sweet Spiders Add-On and Purrfectly Wicked images to complete this spooky cute scene!

Thank you so much for sharing this super cute and clever card, Joyce!

Mona is back to share another brilliant video tutorial! She used Stitched Bookmark and Little Woodland Library to create an interactive light-up bookmark! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mona’s clever bookmark design would make a great gift for any avid reader! And the light-up feature makes it even more special! She used the EZ-Light 3 pack from Pear Blossom to easily add the lights!

To create the fun shaker element, Mona prepped two Stitched Bookmarks with the window cut outs. She covered the bottom window then she added acetate to each one and two layers of foam strips. And then she hid the battery in the bottom and filled the windows with pretty shaker bits before attaching them together.

She stamped the Little Woodland Library, Purrfectly Wicked and You’re Just My Type images with Crunchy Leaf alcohol marker friendly ink before coloring them with Ohuhu markers.

This is so clever and cute, Mona! Thank you so much for sharing this inspiring project!
