Lawn Fawn Video {12.25.21} Caly’s Flippin’ Awesome Card and Merry Christmas with Penguin Party and Renata!

Merry Christmas friends! Today we have you covered from Christmas to Valentine’s Day! First up, Caly created an adorable Flippin’ Awesome card featuring Scent with Love! And then Renata shares a delightful card to wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Caly’s multi-panel Flippin’ Awesome card tells a sweet story with every flip! It’s a love story of course, ending with a happy hug! Caly took the time to plan out each piece of the story before stamping and coloring the Scent with Love images!

Caly created a background that is full of heart! She cut the Quilted Heart Backdrop: Landscape, then she stenciled it with Lots of Hearts Background Stencils!

She used Grassy Stencil to ink up a long panel before cutting it with the Flippin’ Awesome stitched squares. The fresh blue and green of the scene pops layered on the Ballet Slippers pink!

I love how Caly used all the skunks in both Scent with Love and the Scent with Love Add-On set! The heart garland, the rose and the bow in the girl’s hair keep the continuity up on each panel. This is so adorable, Caly!

And now let’s check out Renata’s Christmas card!

Renata created a tall slimline design that is filled with lots of snowy fun! She featured penguins from both Penguin Party and Here We Go A-Waddling!

Renata included the silver-embossed Merry Christmas message, from Ready Set Snow. It looks so cute held up by the penguins! Renata created lots of frosty fun using Snowflake Border, Pixie Dust hills and more snowflakes stenciled with Fairy Dust Stencil Paste!

I just love how the holographic cardstock catches the light and looks so colorful! Giant Let it Snow fills up the top of Renata’s card so brilliantly!

First Saturday (almost) with Megan {12.11.21} Melting Snowman Snow Globe

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another brilliant card design with Megan! This time she brings us a little snowman humor featuring Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On and Making Frosty Friends! We also have a bonus video by Chari at the end of this post!

Megan’s idea for this adorable card is a melting snowman snow globe! She started with Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On and then got really creative mixing and matching sets! Most of the snowman images are found in Making Frosty Friends but she also included the carrot from Hoppy Easter.

To give the look of the snowman melting, Megan drew a squiggly line for the bottom of the snowman, then she fussy cut it leaving a thin border. She filled the scene with a Christmas tree from Christmas Dreams and smaller trees from Winter Village.

Megan used Large and Small Stitched Circles to cut the snow globe and lined it with a circle of acetate. I love how she filled it with fluffy iridescent bits to look like snow! She found that perfect sentiment in our Here’s the Scoop set! So brilliant and so much fun!

With a simple recipe of stencils, white embossed sentiments and snowflakes, Marine created a lovely set of holiday cards! This design is great for making multiple cards in an assembly line fashion. She did all the stenciling, then the stamping and embossing, and then the die cutting. And finally, she assembled her beautiful cards!

For the Magic Iris Snowflake Add-On, she used a combination of Shimmer and Sparkle cardstock! She layered the snowflakes, offset for fullness, along with the Magic Holiday Messages vellum circles.
