Our big giveaway post!!
AND today’s post too!

Let’s start the birthday inspiration with a video by Chari! She created a cute “wild” birthday card using the adventurous mice from It’s a Bird with a favorite older set! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

I love how Chari used Foursquare Backdrop: Landscape without the frame to create a fun collage of little scenes! She added interest with stencils using Cloudy Stencil, Grassy Stencil and Tropical Leaves Background Stencils. Then she brought in all the critter and birthday cuteness with It’s a Bird, Wild for You, All the Smiles and Party Animal!

Grace‘s mostly die cut design is so charming with our cute Build-A-Bunny and Build-A-Bunny Accessories! She made it festive with a Fishtail Banner Border held up with Stitched Root Veggies carrots, so clever! Also included in her design are Outside In Stitched Balloon Stackables, Meadow Backdrop: Landscape and a greeting from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Bunny Puns!

Marine sends big birthday wishes with her fantastic slimline card featuring It’s a Bird! She filled in the adventure scene with Elephant Parade and Kanga-rrific Add-On!

Marine created her scene on a Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Landscape panel on which she stenciled hillsides and grass. Such a happy card to send birthday wishes!

Lynnette is blending up a happy birthday with Build-A-Drink Blender Add-On! She used cardstock to add colorful fruit and layered everything on a patterned paper Stitched Rounded Rectangle panel. She stamped the Wavy Sayings birthday greeting on a Simple Wavy Banner.

Audrey used Spring Basket and Spring Basket Add-On: Birthday to make a lovely card design! With a little watercolor and Bitsy Blooms paper as the background, she used Giant Happy Birthday, balloons from Bicycle Built for You and gifts from Toboggan Together to pull this beautiful birthday card together!

Latisha created a summery design featuring colorful Happy Hibiscus! Her greeting from Wood You Be Mine is stamped on a Stitched Sentiment Banner!

Elena also chose to feature the cute mice of It’s a Bird! She created a fun birthday scene by stringing banners between two Heart Trees, along with balloons from Yappy Birthday and another mouse from Bubbles of Joy holding a birthday banner from Elephant Parade! And of course, front and center is the Year Three birthday cake sitting on a rock platform from I Heart Pandas Add-On, so cute!

Melissa created a bold greeting by layering Giant Make a Wish on a lacy oval from Giant Easter Messages Lawn Cuts. Then she added all the cute mice and greetings from It’s a Bird!

Mindy chose to feature our new Terrific Tulips and Flower Bouquet Wrap in a card that is just so beautiful! I love how the pretty bow matches the Rainbow Ever After paper in the background. Her birthday greeting is from Happy Happy Happy!

The mice from It’s a Bird are back with some fun memories of a safari in Megan‘s clever birthday card! She framed the critters from Wild for You in picture frames from Selfie Frames and Say Cheese, Again.

And now the adventurous mice are on another safari, this time in a Jurassic Park type setting! Tammy‘s slimline scene features the mice in a Car Critters vehicle with all the dino-mite critters from RAWRSOME!

Catherine’s Safari-themed Platform Pop-Up Featuring It’s a Bird

Save the Date! A Fresh and Fun Create with Us LIVE class is coming your way this Friday! Get all the details HERE then join Jenn and I for all the Create with Us fun!

Catherine combined our new It’s a Bird with older critters sets to create the cutest safari-themed Platform Pop-Up card!

Our adventurous It’s a Bird mice are on safari in Catherine’s brilliant pop-up design! She filled the scene with animals from in Critters on the Savanna and Wild for You. And then she constructed the safari jeep with a Car Critters base and a Treat Cart canopy! I love the hand-drawn zebra stripes on the jeep! Such a clever idea!

Catherine used Platform Pop-Up Hillside Wrap Around and Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts along with tropical leaves to set the scene. She added the tree from Kanga-rrific Add-On for even more detail. And speaking of detail, I love how she fashioned a sign for the Hey Lady sentiment making a rustic woodgrain frame.

And there’s more interesting details! She used the round window from Mushroom House as the steering wheel. And she made the bench seat in the “jeep” with a speech bubble from A Birdie Told Me!

Thank you so much for this amazing inspiration, Catherine! It’s just so clever and creative!

We have extended the Free Gift with Purchase offer at lawnfawn.com through tomorrow, Tuesday, March 4th! Woohoo! You will love it so “veggie much”! Happy shopping!

Lawn Fawn Video {6.6.24} Mindy’s Circus-themed Card with Draped Ribbons Stencil

Please join us TOMORROW June 7th, 2024 at 4:00PM PT / 7:00PM ET on YouTube Live!

Our next fun Create with Us is coming soon! In this class hosted by Kelly and Jenn, you’ll create two adorable cards featuring Treat Cart. Make plans to join us on YouTube Live. Click HERE for all the details. We hope to see you there!

Today Mindy joins us with another great card making tutorial! She made a fun circus themed card with a double-stenciled background using Draped Ribbons Stencil. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mindy stenciled with Draped Ribbons Stencil to create the look of a circus big top! She used Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink for the iconic red and white stripe tent. Then she added more fun with Gold Stencil Paste and Starry Sky Stencil. She used a palette knife to apply gold stars all over the background.

She colored the Wild for You critters before attaching them to a Woodgrain cardstock panel. For the greeting Mindy combined Giant Outlined Thanks with a sentiment from Thanks Thanks Thanks!

Here are the Olo markers that Mindy used to color her images for this card. The blue and green colors were for the peacock that didn’t make it onto the final design.

Thank you for this fun video tutorial, Mindy! I love the combination of stencils!
