Lawn Fawn Video {6.6.24} Mindy’s Circus-themed Card with Draped Ribbons Stencil

Please join us TOMORROW June 7th, 2024 at 4:00PM PT / 7:00PM ET on YouTube Live!

Our next fun Create with Us is coming soon! In this class hosted by Kelly and Jenn, you’ll create two adorable cards featuring Treat Cart. Make plans to join us on YouTube Live. Click HERE for all the details. We hope to see you there!

Today Mindy joins us with another great card making tutorial! She made a fun circus themed card with a double-stenciled background using Draped Ribbons Stencil. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mindy stenciled with Draped Ribbons Stencil to create the look of a circus big top! She used Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink for the iconic red and white stripe tent. Then she added more fun with Gold Stencil Paste and Starry Sky Stencil. She used a palette knife to apply gold stars all over the background.

She colored the Wild for You critters before attaching them to a Woodgrain cardstock panel. For the greeting Mindy combined Giant Outlined Thanks with a sentiment from Thanks Thanks Thanks!

Here are the Olo markers that Mindy used to color her images for this card. The blue and green colors were for the peacock that didn’t make it onto the final design.

Thank you for this fun video tutorial, Mindy! I love the combination of stencils!

Lawn Fawn Video {5.26.24} Samantha’s Slimline Critters in the Desert Scene

We have extended our Free Gift with Purchase through May 28th! Woohoo! There’s still time to get your hands on Fruitful Friends with orders over $60 exclusively at lawnfawn.com!

It’s a Critters in the Desert weekend with another clever design! Samantha created a slimline card using the new Draped Ribbons Stencil as well! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks for watching!

Samantha started by coloring images from Critters in the Desert, Year Ten and A Bug Deal with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers in whimsical colors. Then she cut a slimline panel using Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait to ink and stencil using Draped Ribbons Stencil. She also used Stitched Hillside Borders to build her scene. Once all the inking and splattering was dry, Samantha arranged the cute desert scene.

She white-embossed her sentiment on a Fancy Wavy Banner, attaching it at the top. Then she created another grouping of images above the sentiment banner. That is so clever!

Thank you so much for sharing this delightful desert design with us, Samantha!
