one layer, two critters

Another one layer card! I am telling you, I just love this challenge! I really like stamping just the outlines of the critters from Critters in the ‘Burbs and then just adding a bit of color: like the cat’s nose, or the dog’s collar. I think it’s fun! I am also really loving these tiny type stickers from Cosmo Cricket. They are just so cool.

Okay, I am writing this early so I can head off to watch LOST, American Idol and Glee. Here are my pre-watching notes: LOST – you only have a few episodes left, hop to it! AI – Crystal and Lee you are my favorites, I hope you make me happy again tonight! Glee – Madonna. Awesome. Can’t wait. 🙂

Have an amazing day,

one layer lovely

Hello! Okay, so I am obsessed with the K. Werner one layer challenge. It’s so fun! I decided to see what it would be like to combine it with a sketch and 2 Sketches 4 You has the coolest sketch this week! Check it out!
I had so much fun using Sew Lovely! Can you believe it is somehow the first time I use that bow?! How is that possible?! It is super cute! It would be adorable in the hair one of those little girl stamps from Hero Arts. I created the borders with the stamps in Sew Lovely. I love that you could keep stamping the swirl or flowers over and over!
Okay, I better get to bed. I have stayed up way too late making this card and another one layer card, too. It’s been a weird day, and I will be happy to start fresh tomorrow! Hugs to you all!

Have an amazing day,

One layer happy birthday

Hello! I made this card for my father-in-law’s 60th birthday! I also made it with Kristina Werner’s one layer card challenge in mind. I am not sure if it counts as one layer though. It is completely flat but there are stickers on it … hmmm. I will definitely try again!
I love that Pink Paislee tape on the bottom. That stuff is fun! 🙂
I made the background with Papertrey’s Text Style and Distress Inks. I then stamped Practicing Creativity’s Key to My Heart set in Versamagic ink. I love this stuff! I think it’s so cool that the color is bold but the background still shows through. The letter stickers are Cosmo Cricket and so fun. It feels like playing Scrabble or something. Hehe!
