Today is our showcase of You Are Sublime, Lift the Flap Circles, and Porthole Frames!  Your cards and crafts will be sublime with You Are Sublime, an adorable ocean themed set. Dive deep into card-making for birthdays, thank yous, “i love you” occasions, and more! Add an element of surprise to your next project with Lift the Flap Circles! These cute stitched circle flaps are perfect on their own, or use them with Porthole Frames for a cute ocean-themed card!

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using these new sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Audrey arranged her adorable You Are Sublime scene inside a fun Porthole Frame! I love the awesome texture of her ink-blended background!

Kay used our new Stitched Wave Border to create a background for her delightful You Are Sublime scene!

I love how Lizzy added a fun nautical vibe with a watercolor stripes! Her You Are Sublime card is just so adorable!

Elise‘s super cute birthday card features a custom sentiment combining You Are Sublime with Finley’s ABCs!

I love how Nicole arranged the You Are Sublime images behind the Sentiment Banner on her gorgeous watercolor design!

The cute diver and submarine are a fun surprise behind the Lift the Flap Circle and Porthole Frame!

How cute is Latisha‘s pastel watercolor design! I love how the Porthole Frame is offset along the edge of the card!

Melissa‘s clever layout uses Porthole Frames to reinforce the submarine theme! Such great idea with the colorful Knock on Wood paper!

Chari created an amazing You Are Sublime underwater scene using a Stitched Windy Backdrop! I love how she added the light to the fish using a Chibitronics kit!

Ivy used Bayou Backdrop to frame her pretty pastel You Are Sublime underwater scene! Love that colorful eel!

Jenn used the Lift the Flap Circle to hide the birthday greeting! The Porthole Frame adds to the nautical theme of her adorable card!

I love how Kristin lined up the smallest Porthole Frames to look like a submarine window! It reminds of the submarine ride at Disneyland!

Lynnette‘s card is so fun and colorful! She added a Stitched Wave Border for another layer to this cute ocean scene! The wavy sentiment banner is found in our new Shadow Box Card Ocean Add-On; look for an intro later in the week!

Yainea used the Porthole Frames to create a window for her whimsical You Are Sublime card! I love this awesome water-colored scene!

Elise created a fun shaped card using a Stitched Circle and a Lift the Flap Circle!

I love the adorable Manatee-rific surprise inside!

Kristin stamped a fun background and decorated the Lift the Flap Circle using stamps from You Are Sublime! The die cut seaweed is part of our new Shadow Box Card Ocean Add-On set!

I love how Elena added layers of ocean waves to her cute You Are Sublime scene using our new Stitched Wave Borders!

  1. Ooh a sunrise stroll on the beach sounds delightful! My favourite moment in the ocean was swimming with sea turtles in Hawaii while I was pregnant with my first child…I was a human submarine haha. I love the deep sea theme and the circle flaps is such a cute idea!!

  3. My favorite way to enjoy the ocean is scouting for beautiful seashells or for shark teeth with my dad.

  13. One of my favorite ways to enjoy the ocean is to watch the sunrise with a great cup of coffee.

  19. My fair complexion and ability to burn easily do not mix well with the ocean lifestyle – even when applying sunscreen! Ugh!

    I will say though, my favorite thing to do is sit by the ocean early in the morning with a good book (before it gets too hot, lol)!

    I am so so excited to use the scuba diver and all the sea critters from this set. It works so well with the manatee stamp set also! Can’t wait!

I love the light up fish that Chari created, the scene that Elena made is perfect, Yainea’s soft water colored scene is so pretty, and Kay’s scene is so bright and cheerful! Talk about talent! The oceanic “subject” is one of my favourites and I love all the terrific “submissions” from the DT! I’m sure my brain is cooking up many “subliminal” ideas for these sets! I love jumping in the waves and trying my hand at body surfing or watching the sun rise and set while sitting on the beach!

  41. My family love to visit the beach at about 5 in the afternoon when there is less risk of sunburn (we are all very fair skinned) and there are fewer people.

My favorite way to enjoy the ocean is with my husband and dog, eating deep fried clam strips, corn on the cob, onion rings and Coca Cola from the Clam Box in Quincy Massachusetts at the beach watching the sun set.   63. I have been to the ocean two times in my life. I enjoyed walking on the beach and finding sea shells. These days I enjoy the ocean by seeing the fish and sea creatures either with stamping or videos. Love these sets! Those manatee look perfect for anniversary or wedding.

  129. Is it terrible that my favorite way to enjoy the ocean is in an aquarium? Actually, that’s not true, it just feels like it because I live in Colorado which is notoriously lacking in oceans. But, because I’m of the skin type that just turns redder and redder in the sun, I like nighttime beaches when the day star won’t burn me and there aren’t so many people. I could sit with a good book and listen to the sounds of the waves for hours.

    My favorite thing to do at the ocean is walk on the beach with my feet in the water. When I was a child, my family used to rent a house on the beach, and we’d walk for hours each morning. One time I felt a sharp pinch on my foot, and when I looked down, the biggest crab I’d ever seen was in the water next to me, snapping his claws menacingly. My grandmother said she never saw anyone run so fast.

    Where I live in a dry place, there is no beach! But I visited beaches two times in my summer holidays! Love the sunrise and sunset scene, so pretty with different shades of the sun when appears in the sky!   218. I lived in Northern California & my favorite way to enjoy the ocean is to go on a sunny, breezy day so it’s really cool out, the ocean is cold & you can sit on the beach & watch the whitecaps. The beach also tends to be pretty empty on those days so overall it is just awesome to be there. Love this set & it’s versatility. I will be adding it to my list 🙂

    my favourite way to enjoy the ocean until now is to play frisbee with my family and friends in about knee or hip- deep water. You laugh, jump, swim a little, splash water, you can totally jump backwards to catch the frisbee because you won’t hurt yourself in the water 🙂

  255. What an incredibly fun set! And the designers’ projects are amazingf!! I live in the midwest, so I’ve only had a few opportunities with the ocean. My favorite was in SanDiego. People watching while enjoying watching the gorgeus water and sitting in the sun was the best time ever!

  280. What incredible sets! I love the angler fish and lobster along with the porthole die. That angler fish is so adorable! The cards that the team made are fantastic and so colorful. For some reason I am always drawn toward under-water creatures, maybe because I love the ocean so much. From watching Jacques Cousteau on tv when I was little, to my favorite way to enjoy the ocean is by walking in the waterline and searching for seashells along the way. Before I know it, I turn around and can’t see where I started, I get that mesmerized by it all!

  281. Walking on the beach barefoot, searching for “treasures”, seeing the whales off Kauai, and watching the sun set are things I like to do at the beach. This set is so much fun and so versatile. That angler fish (?) really makes me smile. The design team did such a great job with all the samples. Thank you for the great ideas, inspiration, and how-to’s on the video.

  283. Favorite way to enjoy the ocean, huh? Tough one… I guess I enjoy seeing and learning about the animals in them (on tv, documentaries, at aquariums, etc). I don’t see the ocean often since I don’t live near one and I need to stay out of the sun so I rarely go to them. However, the few times I have been at one in person I have enjoyed snorkeling (in my full length sun protective suit). I do love the animals IN the water though even if going to the ocean isn’t usually my thing and I love manatees! So excited for that set!

  311. This is my favorite set so far, I just have to have it. I love spending the day with my daughter at Rathtrevor Beach, because when the tide is out, you can walk for miles exploring all the tidal pools looking for crabs and shells.   359. My favorite time at the ocean is when it isn’t crowded. Winter is particularly beautiful as it is odd to see snow on the beach. The beauty of the ocean is breathtaking. Truly my happy place which is probably why I think this part of the release is my favorite!!

  362. It is all too cute, the scuba diver, the yellow submarine and especially the portholes. We love sitting and watching the ocean whether it on the pier or our balcony enjoying the wind in my face.
