First Saturday with Megan {7.3.21} A Toucan Do It Slimline Card!

Happy first Saturday in July everyone! We hope our friends in the U.S. are enjoying a fun July 4th weekend! Today Megan has some extraordinary inspiration for us!

Megan created a clever Toucan Do It slimline card using Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait cut from a 12×12 sheet of Sycamore Remix paper! She added a fun interactive element with Lift the Flap: Circles! It’s the perfect place to heat emboss the sweet Magic Messages sentiment!

Megan combined Toucan Do It with leaves from You are Sublime to fill out the tropical scene! Some of those underwater sets have some great leaves and vines that work perfectly in a tropical setting! Under the flap is our cute exclusive Grrr-ific Friend lion! You can swap him out for the Wild for You lion!

Thanks so much for sharing with us today, Megan! This card is absolutely amazing!

Jessica’s Manatee-rific Birthday Card

Jessica joins us today to share a fun card design using Lift the Flap Circles to conceal a cute Manatee-rific surprise!

I love how Jessica paired the 2 sizes of flaps from Lift the Flap Circles and stamped the greeting across both! Our little Year Six shellfish goes perfectly with the punny Manatee-rific sentiment! The background was created with Distress Ink in Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean, Evergreen Bough and Cracked Pistachio.

It’s all in the details! Jessica added a cute flower to the gift bearing manatee! I love how she created the underwater scene with Bayou Backdrop and Mermaid for You coral!

So happy you shared this amazing birthday card design with us today, Jessica!

Jenn’s Clever Lift the Flap Shaker Card!

Our busy Lawn Fawn instructor, Jenn, joins us today to share a clever You Are Sublime shaker card inspired by a special class participant!

Jenn used Lift the Flap Circles to add a fun surprise to her cute You Are Sublime design! The sentiment looks great white embossed on the Peacock cardstock!

Under the flap is a sweet underwater scene in a shaker window! I love the Chunky Glitter details! It looks like sparkly sand!

And the inspiration for this amazing card came from 10 year old, Sarah! She took both of Jenn’s classes at Scrapbook-N-Memories in Missouri. Yay, Sarah! It was her idea to use Lift the Flap Circles to make a hidden shaker element! Thanks for the great idea! And thank you to Jenn for sharing this adorable card and the sweet story behind it!
