Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using all these new goodies! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and then leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Caly‘s Big Hugs Pop-Up card is so cute and cheerful with Here for You Bear! She created a window with Stitched Rainbow and filled it with Rainbow Ever After paper.

When the card is opened the cute bear pops-up and the arms open for a big hug! Caly added Scripty Hugs with our new Scripty Hugs Outline Add-On.

Mona used our new Leaf and Acorn Border to create a card to send “sweet hugs”!

She scattered some more leaves on the inside along with the cute Big Hugs Pop-Up bear!

Tammy‘s card is sweet as honey! She combined the cute bear with Build-A-Drink Mason Jar Jam and Honey Add-On to make a non-interactive card. She added even more fun with Big Blossom Flowers and bees from Magic Iris Beehive Add-On.

Karin used Big Hugs Pop-Up to make this adorable Halloween card! She used Quinn’s ABCs Lawn Cuts to spell out a dare, but that cute Hocus Purr-cus kitty lets you know there’s nothing to fear!

Just a friendly Big Hugs Ghost popping up inside!

Jennifer‘s is so sweet and filled with Fall color! She combined Snow Much Fun bears with leaves from Let’s Go Nuts and a sentiment from Jump for Joy to set the scene for fun!

The Fall beauty continues to the inside as the bear pops up with colorful leaves from Leaf and Acorn Border.

Audrey‘s card is so charming featuring Big Hugs Ghost with Spiderweb Backdrop and a tiny spider from Booyah. Be sure to watch the intro video below as we recreate this fun design.

June used Sew Very Mice to create a sewing themed Big Hugs Pop-Up card. She combined Giant Outlined Love Ya, Really High Five and all the cute sewing bits with an Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle.

Inside, the mice are busy stitching up a teddy bear! June used Workshop Backdrop: Portrait to fill with more sewing thread, buttons and another sweet little mouse!

Elise‘s card is simply beautiful with Quilted Diamond Backdrop. Scripty Hugs stands out layered on a Scripty Hugs Outline Add-On.

Then she lined the inside of the interactive card with more Quilted Diamond pattern as a backdrop for the pop-up bear.

I love Latisha‘s colorful card pairing the Big Hugs Ghost with lots of Stitched Pumpkins under the most beautiful cloudy sky! She created a spooky pumpkin patch using Leafy Tree Backdrop without and leaves!

Lynnette chose a rustic, mountain theme for her Big Hugs Pop-Up interactive design! She used the new Stripes ‘n Sprinkles Autumn paper to fill the sky in the Forest Backdrop. Scripty Thinking of You fills the window layered on the Scripty Thinking of You Outline Add-On.

Then on the inside Lynnette kept the mountain theme with Stitched Mountain Borders, Leaf and Acorn Border and the cutest black bear!

Mayra‘s card is so full of fun and all the awesome Fall colors! She paired the Big Hugs Pop-Up bear with Giant Sending Big Hugs. The cute bear is holding a whipped cream topped mug from Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On.

Inside, Mayra created an amazing fall landscape using Knock, Knock Who’s There Tree Add-On and Small Stitched Leaves. She combined Oliver’s Stitched ABCs with sentiments from You Autumn Know and Mice Tools Add-On to send a beary sweet message!

Megan‘s colorful card wishes you a Happy Halloween with our Big Hugs Ghost and an Outside In Stitched Pumpkin! The sentiment is from the new All the Witch Hats and that adorable spider is from Cute Cobweb.

Jennifer‘s Big Hugs Pop-Up bear is so adorable sending big hugs while bundled up for sweater weather! The cute bear has a scarf from Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On which she stamped with Gingham Backdrops. Then she created the background with tone-on-tone Small Stitched Leaves and stamped Harold’s ABCs letters on a Fishtail Banner Border for the bear to hold.

Mindy decorated her card front with Cute Candy Canes and a Stitched Scalloped Oval to create an interactive Christmas card.

She made a polar bear with Big Hugs Pop-Up and she’s so adorable! For the background Mindy used Build-A-Christmas Tree then she added a red sparkle Giant Merry Christmas!

Tammy paired the Big Hugs Ghost with Build-A-Cauldron and Book Collection to “brew up some Halloween fun”! She also included Build-A-Potion Bottle and a Hocus Purr-cus sentiment!

Grace created the sweetest get-well card featuring Big Hugs Pop-Up. She used a Stitched Den and Giddy for Gingham paper to make the window for the bear then framed the card with a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window.

Inside, Grace stenciled with Lots of Hearts Background Stencils before adding the interactive bear. Then she finished the Here for You Bear sentiment that started on the card front, adding a layered Scripty Hugs and a stitched heart.

With a combination of Louie’s ABCs and Henry Jr.’s ABCs, Jennifer’s card gives a hint to the cuteness happening on the inside of her card! She also used Spiderweb Background Stencils sparkly ghosts from Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add-On and Build-A-House Halloween Add-On!

Our adorable Big Hugs Ghost really is too cute to spook, but she is trying with a Henry’s ABCs banner! Jennifer inked the inside of card then she stenciled Stratus Clouds with Stencil Paste in Pearl. So shiny!

  1. Ohhhh the pop up bear is so cute!! I love all the different version of bear the DT have created (brown / black / polar…..no Panda!?)
I think cats and koalas, as suggested by others, would also be fun

    • I’m making things on a gummy bear theme at the moment so just thinking how I can slightly modify this cutie patootie into one.

  2. I’d like to see lots of interchangeable heads that can use the same body shape! LOL! Would the Big Hugs Pop-Up mechanism work with Woodland Critter Huggers? Can’t wait to try it.

  3. It would be fun to see a dog that kind of rears up on its hind legs when you open the card with its front legs going out like a hug! Squirrel would be awesome, Santa, a seal. We need a horse at some point with anything!

  4. Our bird feeder has a camera in it and the camera captured a raccoon feasting away so maybe a raccoon?! I also like the squirrel idea and even a snowman would be cute!

  5. i am soooo excited for this release, and haven’t even seen it all yet! The design team is hitting it out of the park! would love to see a snowman and a mouse, but there are also sooo many other options with this 🙂

  6. I would like to see a cat or dog…for Halloween add a witch or Frankenstein, for winter a snowman, for valentines a heart!

  7. What I would like to see added is a bee and a fox! It would go well with all the themes already created, and be sooo cute!! Oh, also a bunny 🩷

  8. The hugging creatures are such a cute idea! I would love to see a skunk, penguin, or monkey. So many cute sayings for the monkey such as “I’m not monkeying around…”

  9. I was coming here to comment “a stingray” and saw the person above me posted the same thing! Great minds think alike! 🤗

  10. I love this release! I’d like to see a Penquin, a Cat and also a Mom & Dad as hug cards!!

  11. I see a puppy, fox, or wolf cub. LF makes the cutest mice, but I love the bear hugs because they’re all smiling—neither fierce nor dangerous—they make me smile, too.

  12. I loved the suggestions of a snowman and Mr. and Mrs. Claus. I also think a butterfly flapping it’s wings as you opened the card would be amazing.

  13. I love this new interactive die set so “beary” much!!! I am always amazed by Lawn Fawn’s innovations in card making and design! You are real imagineers! I think a snowman and a bunny would be super cute to give hugs!!

  14. I Love the Bug Hugs sets! It would e fun to see a dog, cat, or mouse for people who love pets. This is going on my wish list if I don’t win it – which would be great! Thanks for the chance.

  15. So many fun options for the “Bigs” for upcoming holidays- Santa, Pengiun, Reindeer and Snowman, then for Easter, a bunny of course and the chicks, and mermaids or dolphin, whale, fish for summer.

  16. A parrot – my sister has a Senegal parrot and he has so much personality! Thinking of all the punny saYINGS! And a cat – i will always vote for cats!

  17. My daughter wants this set so bad! She says that she’s definitely putting this one on her Christmas list. Her ideas: A dog, penguin, angel, gingerbread man, Santa, bunny, squirrel, and octopus.

  18. I’d love a hugging cat, dog, big mouse, raccoons and squirrels would be good, too. There are too many options, it is such fun.

  19. Oh my gosh, these are soooo cuuuute! I would love to see seasonal and birthday accessories as well as other animals like a bird. There’s so many uses for card like this.

  20. Pretty sure I’m gonna need the big hugs pop up bear! A snowman or penguin would be cute for winter!

  21. I would love to see a Lawn Fawn added to the big hugs collection of course but also a bunny would be great!

  22. A puppy and a kitten for starters, and a snowman, penguin, Santa, reindeer, gingerbread man, bunny, baby, scarecrow….

  23. So many ideas: a chick, a penguin, a snowman, an Easter bunny (but ears might be a problem), kitty for Jenn, puppy, a bird, and so much more.

  24. I would love to see a sloth, Highland cow, otters, whales. Really just about any animals. They would all be so cute.

  25. Maybe it’s because I live in the desert, but the cutest cactus trying to give you a hug (or hugging the desert critters stamps) would make the best cards!

  26. Please add a dog and cat. Something for winter/Christmas would be good too, like a penguin, reindeer or even a yeti. I also think a unicorn and dinosaur/ dragon would be super fun to put in a child’s birthday card, especially if there were some birthday accessories you could have them holding (like a balloon).

  27. I already like the page on Facebook! Wish I could like it 1,000 times, it’s my favorite page 🙂

  28. Oh the bear hugs are SO cute!
Sea creatures would be neat and you could pare them with all the fun under the sea stamp sets! Maybe an octopus, axolotl, or a lobster!

  29. This cute bear definitely needs some Holiday outfits. Perhaps an ugly sweater, antlers, and Christmas Hat. Looking forward, some Valentine themed outfits. Love all the project inspiration!

  30. I want lots of add-ons please!!! I think a lot of animals would be great, and I would love to have something like a santa for christmas cards.

  31. I love pop ups! Having done accessories and other interchangeable animal heads or Christmas themed people would be awesome!!

  32. I think maybe something like this exists already, but wouldn’t a butterfly opening its wings be super cute?!

  33. A pop-up hedgehog/porcupine and elephant would be so rockin’! Gracias for the chance to win new products!

  34. Well I am all about bears so you have made me very happy!!! I can’t wait to use the bear hugs die!!! I would love to see a dog or a penguin or a wolf. Anything you make will be adorable!!!

  35. This is so cute, I can’t wait to try it out. I love that you did a bear first, it can be for any occasion, but I know whatever you come up with next will be amazing, I do like the idea of a snowman 🙂

  36. I really thought I didn’t need the Bear Hugs dies … but, the video changed that thought. I immediately saw Santa sending big hugs!

  37. I’m a big fan of the idea of a fox or a puppy, but a snowman would make a super sweet winter card (I keep imagining Olaf from Frozen saying “I like warm hugs!”)

  38. Christmas/Winter Big Hugs Pop Ups would be fun…a Gingerbread Boy/Girl, Snowman, Santa, Elf, Reindeer…!

  39. Maybe Santa putting his arms out with a gift or teddy bear, Elves or Mrs Claus could do the same. Cupid with hearts, Leprechaun with shamrocks, Bunnies with flowers and chocolate, raccoons, goats & cows with apples & pumpkins, Dracula with potions & turkeys with pumpkins, apples or pumpkin &/or apple pies. Loads of ideas!

  40. I’m making things on a gummy bear theme at the moment so just thinking how I can slightly modify this cutie patootie into one.

  41. I am watching and rewatching trying to decide if I can make the bear into a fox or if I can use the build a fox and to make the hug

  42. I would like to see a kitty and dog added to the big hugs collection. A reindeer and penguin would be cute too. Even an otter.

  43. When I saw this new interactive die set, I have the perfect recipient in mind! I love how you’re thinking about add-ons… any critter would be cute. I think a moose would be fun for winter… and a panda or cat would compliment other LF stamp sets! I also love someone else’s idea of a butterfly opening up it’s wings.

  44. I would love to see a Reindeer, a person, a dog & a cat as potential add-ons. Maybe even a Highland Cow. Good luck everyone. Thank you for the chance to win.

  45. I would love to see a Reindeer, a person, a dog & a cat as potential add-ons. Maybe even a Highland Cow. Good luck everyone. Thank you for the chance to win.

  46. I would love to see Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, reindeer, mouse and mermaid with underwater SeaLife.

  47. So Many things – Santa, Unicorn, Koala, Sloth, Bunny the list goes on and on and don’t forget a dog and cat.

  48. A frog! I know we don’t typically think of them as a huggable critter, but seeing them pop or move would be fun.

  49. Adorable pop up bear! I can see many other animals or even scenes that couldn’t be popped up. A cat, dog, bunny, quokka, wombat, chichilla..
