Blog Hop to Support Ukraine

Today we are taking part in a blog hop to Support Ukraine with our friends from our wonderful industry.

More than half of Ukrainian children have been displaced since the war started about a month ago.

Save the Children has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, delivering essential humanitarian aid to children and their families. Your donation can help provide children and families impacted by the conflict in Ukraine with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support, and cash assistance.

Lawn Fawn is donating 100% of the net profits from the items in the collection below to Save the Children.

Blue and yellow are the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Blue represents the wide blue skies, and the yellow represents the wheat fields that characterize the country. The sunflower (soniashnyk in Ukrainian) is Ukraine’s national flower, and it has been used as a symbol of peace throughout the country’s history.

Here is the list of our friends who are hopping together today; we hope you will hop to each blog with us!

The theme of this special blog hop is Sunflowers, the national flower of Ukraine and a symbol of peace and hope! I filled a Platform Pop-Up card with sunflowers from Our Friendship Grows.

The message of hope from Garden Before ‘n Afters is stamped on a sign from Open Me.

Awesome Inspiration with the Fawnies!

No matter how busy our Lawn Fawn HQ Fawnies are; whether designing new products, packing orders with care or assisting with customer service, they always find time to do some crafting! Today we have some wonderful inspiration for you from Ivy, Renata and Debbie!

A lovely card set by Debbie

Debbie used a quick and easy cardmaking “recipe” to create a cheery set of thank you cards! She combined a pretty die cut flower, Magic Messages sentiment and patterned paper or backdrop die.

For this card, Debbie layered Quilted Backdrop over Ballet Slippers cardstock. She coordinated it with the color of the Stitched Flower Frame!

Do you have lots of patterned papers just waiting for a pretty project? Now’s the time to get them out to coordinate with cardstock on a sweet card! Before you know it you will have a lovely set of cards ready to mail while using up papers too pretty to hide in your stash!

A charming house-warming card by Ivy

Ivy needed a new house card for a friend, so she put our Build-A-House die set to beautiful use! She cut the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait from the frame so it works on this tall scalloped slimline design!

To add lots of interest, Ivy used pretty Shimmer cardstock to die cut the house and grassy borders. The sweet message looks adorable stamped on the Open Me sign!

A sweet and thoughtful card by Renata

Renata‘s sweet design sends “happy thoughts your way”! The little squirrel is thinking of happy times depicted in the charming little scene within the Stitched Thought Bubble Frame.

Renata combined Happy Hugs, Let’s Go Nuts and Den Sweet Den. I love how she swapped out the squirrel’s acorn for the strawberry, so cute!

I love sharing the creative projects of our Fawnies! They are all so talented! Thank you Ivy, Debbie and Renata so much!

First Saturday with Megan {9.12.20} Beautiful Fall Pull Tab Card

Our new Fall & Winter 2020 Release is now available at lawnfawn.com and at all of your favorite online and local crafty stores!

So it may not be the first Saturday of September but Megan has the most adorable pull tab card to share today! Her beautiful interactive Fall-themed card features the cute Dandy Day and Crazy Antics mice enjoying a day of apple picking!

To set the scene for this beautiful Autumn design, Megan combined Thanks a Bushel, Jump for Joy and Open Me! On the signs she stamped sentiments from Thanks a Bushel and Tree Before ‘n Afters. I love how she colored the apples! They look so fresh and tasty with the little bit of green at the stem!

This sweet card gets even more charming when the cute mouse from Love Poems pops up from behind the basket of apples! Megan made the interactive element with the Let’s Toast Pull-Tab Add-On!

Thank you so much for inspiring us today, Megan! I’m so ready for Fall and a fun apple picking adventure!
