Christy inked up the Outside In Stitched Maple Leaf die cuts with Distress Oxide ink in beautiful Fall colors (see the supply list below). She used Bristol cardstock for a smooth blending of the colors. Then she splattered the leaves with water, ink and metallic gold watercolor. While the leaves were drying, she stamped and gold embossed two Scripty Autumn Sentiments and cut them with the coordinating dies.
She assembled her cards with layers of Woodgrain, Gold Metallic, and Chocolate Bar cardstock. Then she glued down the gorgeous leaves and the sentiments! So amazing!

Today is our showcase of Outside In Stitched Maple Leaf, Stitched Maple Leaf Frame, Spooky Forest Backdrop and Spooky Gate! This maple leaf-shaped die has a cute “stitched” border detail on the outside and inside edges. This versatile die will create a stitched shape, and a stitched opening as well! This die comes with curly leaf vines for a cute detail! The stitched maple leaf-shaped frame coordinates with Outside In Stitched Maple Leaf, and it’s perfect for shakers and other fun fall projects! Included in this set are lots of little leaves and acorns to fill a shaker or a scene!
Let’s get spooky! The Spooky Forest Backdrop sets an amazing scene for your Halloween projects and comes complete with gravestones, a cute little ghost, watchful owl, and a shiny crescent moon! And Spooky Gate is perfect for setting a scene so spooky you can almost hear the creaky gates!

Elena combined Spooky Forest Backdrop and Spooky Gate to create a clever graveyard scene! I love that she used bright colors for the trees, sky, moon and grass. To add fun detail to the tombstones she selectively inked then stamped images from Spooktacular and Booyah.
The Stitched Maple Leaf Frame is so perfect for creating gorgeous Autumn shaker cards! Mindy cut the leaf from bronzy glitter cardstock backed it with vellum, then layered it over Fruit Salad gingham paper. The Scripty Autumn Sentiment fills the shaker so well as a perfect finish!
I think Tammy meant for this card to be spooky, but those wolves are just too adorable! I love the amazing Nighttime Sky she stenciled, the color is so incredible. And the Spooky Forest Backdrop in black is the perfect frame!
Yainea use of the Spooky Forest Backdrop and Spooky Gate is so clever! She created a scene with other images from the backdrop set and others from Shadow Box Card Halloween Add-On. Then she layered acetate behind the Spooky Forest Backdrop to use as a see-through card front. I love that she stamped with Henry Jr.’s ABCs on the acetate, it’s so fun!
Elena combined Outside In Stitched Maple Leaf with Stitched Maple Leaf Frame and some gorgeous Fall color to create a design that is so special! She filled the frame with shaker bits included in the set, then she layered everything on a Quilted Backdrop! And then she added a sentiment from the new Harvest Crate die set.
The adorable howling wolf from the new Wolf Before ‘n Afters looks right at home in Audrey‘s full moon scene! In addition to Spooky Forest Backdrop and Spooky Gate, she included the cute Fangtastic Friends Add-On bats! So cute, and a little spooky!
Mindy‘s Outside In Stitched Maple Leaf card is so gorgeous! Those rich, Autumn colors are even more special with flecks of gold paint. And the greeting from Scripty Autumn Sentiments is so perfect as well!
Caly didn’t let “spooky” in the Spooky Forest Backdrop keep her from using it for a winter card that is so sweet! With our favorite snowmen from Making Frosty Friends, her design is so bright, colorful and happy!
Melissa’s amazing layout features our new maple leaf sets in such a clever way! Using kraft cardstock for the base, she layered the Outside In Stitched Maple Leaf and Stitched Maple Leaf Frame in Paper Bag cardstock on top. The tone-on-tone result is so beautiful, adding lots of texture! There’s also lots of sparkle with the gold foiled Spiffier Speckles paper!
Megan is so good at combining old with new to create amazing cards! Here she used Spooky Forest Backdrop to frame a scene with Spooky Village, Fox Costumes Before ‘n Afters and a cute Booyah ghost! This card is so “spooktacular”!
I love Latisha‘s clean and simple Fall design! The colors of the maple leaves are so fresh and lovely! The sentiment that is so perfect to send happy greetings is from Simply Celebrate Fall.
The Spooky Forest Backdrop frames the Batty for You bat so well for lots of Halloween fun! Mindy added a Nighttime Sky Stencil moon in the background for even more spookiness!
The Spooky Forest Backdrop plays so nicely with our new winter and Christmas sets too!
