Lawn Fawn Video {2.4.24} Mona’s Colorful Dry-Embossed Card

In today’s video tutorial, Mona uses the Heart Wreath Stencils to create a beautiful dry-embossed card design! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

In the video, Mona shows how to use Bristol cardstock with a stencil to create a unique embossed pattern. She shares a great tip to spritz the cardstock with water, so the paper fibers are softer. She attached the wreath stencil to the paper then used an embossing mat and die-cut machine to emboss the wreath.

Next, she used the flower stencil in Heart Wreath Stencils to color the heart flowers with Tombow markers. The colors she used are so brilliant!

Mona stamped the Porcu-pine for You critters, flower from Oh Gnome and envelope from Special Delivery with Jet Black Ink. Then she colored the images with Tombow markers to match the Pink Tutu paper that frames the embossed panel!

She cut Scripty Hello from glittery Sparkle Kraft cardstock, then layered it on two more die cuts in white. And then she heat-embossed the sentiment from Magic Heart Messages in white, and fussy cut it before layering it on top of the Scripty Hello.

I love this fun dry-embossing technique! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful and creative card with us, Mona!

Renata’s Happy Woodland Scene Card

Renata used bright, cheerful color to create a truly happy woodland scene! I love it so “mush”!

Beginning with Forest Backdrop, Renata cut the frame from pretty patterned paper. Then she cut the trees from Cilantro and Noble Fir. She also cut the grass Mushroom Border from Cilantro cardstock adding hand drawn tufts of grass for detail. She added more cheery color by cutting the mushroom caps from Barn Red and Fake Tan cardstock. And then to finish the scenery, she used Cloudy Stencil and Merman ink to create the sky background.

Renata stamped the punny greeting directly on the stenciled background before arranging the sweet woodland critters of Porcu-pine for You and Porcu-pine for You Add-On.

Such a happy card, Renata! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!

Lawn Fawn Video {1.30.24} Joy’s Adorable Porcu-pine For You Mini Valentine Cards

Joy has sweet Porcu-pine for You Valentine cards to share with us today! Her mini designs are reminiscent of the cute and punny cards we shared as kids in elementary school. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Joy started by stamping the images from the Porcu-pine for You sets and coloring them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. She cut them out using the coordinating dies. Then she inked up the backgrounds using Hillside Stencils and Distress Oxide ink in Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn.

And then she stamped the punny sentiments before arranging the cute little scenes! She finished this set of mini cards by layering them on Spiffier Speckles 6×6 paper.

This set of cards is so sweet! Thank you so much for sharing them with us, Joy!
