Lawn Fawn Video {7.18.23} Caly’s Sweet Pop-Up Strawberry Basket

Caly is with us today to share a modified Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up design! In today’s video she shows us how to create a sweet strawberry-filled basket! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Caly modified the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up, removing the flaps and trimming it down a bit so it looks like an iconic strawberry basket! Her design is so clever, using the popsicle stick from I Scream You Scream to add the details. She cut the “basket” from Mermaid cardstock and added shading with Peacock Ink.


And then Caly filled the basket with yummy strawberries from Strawberry Patch! She also included flowers and leaves from Outside In Stitched Strawberry and Stitched Strawberry Frame.

When folded, the strawberry basket card will fit in a standard A2 envelope.

Karin’s Beautiful Card Design for All Occasions

Karin joins us today with a beautifully versatile card design that’s perfect for lots of occasions. She combined florals from a bunch of Lawn Cuts sets to create lovely arrangements. She suggests making multiples to have on hand as occasions come up. Just add a sentiment and it’s ready to go!

Karin’s design starts with a backdrop of Woodgrain cardstock. Then she cut a pretty Lacy Border as an overlay. Next, she combined flowers from Spring Flowers Backdrop, Stitched Strawberry Frame, Tropical Leaves Backdrop, and Stitched Poinsettia arranging them in a pretty design.

She used soft pastel colors for the flowers. Then she added the bow from Build-A-Barrel Apple in shiny gold metallic cardstock.

Another fun suggestion is to die cut numbers for a birthday card. Here, Karin added shiny gold numbers from Finley’s 123s. For this portrait card, she used a pretty Stitched Scalloped Border.

Elena’s Butterfly-themed Mother’s Day Party

Elena designed a beautiful butterfly party that is perfect for a Mother’s Day brunch! It would also be perfect for any special May gathering!

With beautiful shades of pink Elena created lovely butterflies to adorn her buffet! She reused a banner, simply adding Giant Happy Mother’s Day to convey the theme! The tiny butterfly on the die cut is so sweet!

For the cupcake toppers, Elena used Layered Butterflies with pretty gold bodies! She added green Grassy Cupcake Wrappers that add a fresh accent.

Another butterfly graces the top of the cake! She added pretty greenery from our collection of Strawberry dies, then she finished the topper with Scripty Mom.

I love how she brought in even more butterflies to decorate the glasses!

These Butterfly Treat Boxes are great for tucking a sweet treat inside! Then by grouping them together they become a wonderful addition to the party decor!
